    fs/adfs: validate nzones in adfs_validate_bblk()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/adfs: validate nzones in adfs_validate_bblk() Reject ADFS disc records with a zero zone count during boot block validation, before the disc record is used. When nzones is 0, adfs_read_map() passes it to kmalloc_array(0, ...) which returns ZERO_SIZE_PTR, and adfs_map_layout() then writes to dm[-1], causing an out-of-bounds write before the allocated buffer. adfs_validate_dr0() already rejects nzones != 1 for old-format images. Add the equivalent check to adfs_validate_bblk() for new-format images so that a crafted image with nzones == 0 is rejected at probe time. Foun

fsnotify: fix inode reference leak in fsnotify_recalc_mask()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fsnotify: fix inode reference leak in fsnotify_recalc_mask() fsnotify_recalc_mask() fails to handle the return value of __fsnotify_recalc_mask(), which may return an inode pointer that needs to be released via fsnotify_drop_object() when the connector's HAS_IREF flag transitions from set to cleared. This manifests as a hung task with the following call trace: INFO: task umount:1234 blocked for more than 120 seconds. nvmet-tcp: propagate nvmet_tcp_build_pdu_iovec() errors to its callers

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvmet-tcp: propagate nvmet_tcp_build_pdu_iovec() errors to its callers Currently, when nvmet_tcp_build_pdu_iovec() detects an out-of-bounds PDU length or offset, it triggers nvmet_tcp_fatal_error(cmd->queue) and returns early. However, because the function returns void, the callers are entirely unaware that a fatal error has occurred and that the cmd->recv_msg.msg_iter was left uninitialized. Callers such as nvmet_tcp_handle_h2c_data_pdu() proceed to blindly overwrite the queue state with queue->rcv_state = NVMET_TCP_RECV_DATA Consequently, the socket receiving loop may at

    netfilter: nf_conntrack_sip: don't use simple_strtoul

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack_sip: don't use simple_strtoul Replace unsafe port parsing in epaddr_len(), ct_sip_parse_header_uri(), and ct_sip_parse_request() with a new sip_parse_port() helper that validates each digit against the buffer limit, eliminating the use of simple_strtoul() which assumes NUL-terminated strings. The previous code dereferenced pointers without bounds checks after sip_parse_addr() and relied on simple_strtoul() on non-NUL-terminated skb data. A port that reaches the buffer limit without a trailing character is also rejected as malformed. Also get rid of

netdevsim: zero initialize struct iphdr in dummy sk_buff

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netdevsim: zero initialize struct iphdr in dummy sk_buff Syzbot reports a KMSAN uninit-value originating from nsim_dev_trap_skb_build, with the allocation also being performed in the same function. Fix this by calling skb_put_zero instead of skb_put to guarantee zero initialization of the whole IP header.

net/sched: netem: fix queue limit check to include reordered packets

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: netem: fix queue limit check to include reordered packets The queue limit check in netem_enqueue() uses q->t_len which only counts packets in the internal tfifo. Packets placed in sch->q by the reorder path (__qdisc_enqueue_head) are not counted, allowing the total queue occupancy to exceed sch->limit under reordering. Include sch->q.qlen in the limit check.

neigh: let neigh_xmit take skb ownership

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: neigh: let neigh_xmit take skb ownership neigh_xmit always releases the skb, except when no neighbour table is found. But even the first added user of neigh_xmit (mpls) relied on neigh_xmit to release the skb (or queue it for tx). sashiko reported: If neigh_xmit() is called with an uninitialized neighbor table (for example, NEIGH_ND_TABLE when IPv6 is disabled), it returns -EAFNOSUPPORT and bypasses its internal out_kfree_skb error path. Because the return value of neigh_xmit() is ignored here, does this leak the SKB? Assume full ownership and remove the last code pa

net: tls: fix strparser anchor skb leak on offload RX setup failure

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: tls: fix strparser anchor skb leak on offload RX setup failure When tls_set_device_offload_rx() fails at tls_dev_add(), the error path calls tls_sw_free_resources_rx() to clean up the SW context that was initialized by tls_set_sw_offload(). This function calls tls_sw_release_resources_rx() (which stops the strparser via tls_strp_stop()) and tls_sw_free_ctx_rx() (which kfrees the context), but never frees the anchor skb that was allocated by alloc_skb(0) in tls_strp_init(). Note that tls_sw_free_resources_rx() is exclusively used for this "failed to start offload" code

KVM: Reject wrapped offset in kvm_reset_dirty_gfn()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: Reject wrapped offset in kvm_reset_dirty_gfn() kvm_reset_dirty_gfn() guards the gfn range with if (!memslot || (offset + __fls(mask)) >= memslot->npages) return; but offset is u64 and the addition is unchecked. The check can be silently bypassed by a u64 wrap. The dirty ring backing those entries is MAP_SHARED at KVM_DIRTY_LOG_PAGE_OFFSET of the vcpu fd, so the VMM can rewrite the slot and offset fields of any entry between when the kernel pushes them and when KVM_RESET_DIRTY_RINGS consumes them. On reset, kvm_dirty_ring_reset() re-reads the values via READ_ONC

KVM: s390: pci: fix GAIT table indexing due to double-scaling pointer arithmetic

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: s390: pci: fix GAIT table indexing due to double-scaling pointer arithmetic kvm_s390_pci_aif_enable(), kvm_s390_pci_aif_disable(), and aen_host_forward() index the GAIT by manually multiplying the index with sizeof(struct zpci_gaite). Since aift->gait is already a struct zpci_gaite pointer, this double-scales the offset, accessing element aisb*16 instead of aisb. This causes out-of-bounds accesses when aisb >= 32 (with ZPCI_NR_DEVICES=512) Fix by removing the erroneous sizeof multiplication.

ALSA: usb-audio: Bound MIDI endpoint descriptor scans

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: usb-audio: Bound MIDI endpoint descriptor scans snd_usbmidi_get_ms_info() validates the internal MIDIStreaming endpoint descriptor size before using baAssocJackID[], but the descriptor walker can still return a class-specific endpoint descriptor whose bLength exceeds the remaining bytes in the endpoint-extra scan. That leaves later flexible-array reads bounded by bLength, but not by the remaining bytes in the endpoint-extra scan. Stop walking when bLength is zero or extends past the remaining endpoint-extra scan.
