Flowise affected by Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in HTTP Node Leading to Internal Network Access

Flowise is a drag & drop user interface to build a customized large language model flow. Prior to 3.0.13, Flowise exposes an HTTP Node in AgentFlow and Chatflow that performs server-side HTTP requests using user-controlled URLs. By default, there are no restrictions on target hosts, including private/internal IP ranges (RFC 1918), localhost, or cloud metadata endpoints. This enables Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF), allowing any user interacting with a publicly exposed chatflow to force the Flowise server to make requests to internal network resources that are inaccessible from the public internet. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.0.13.

Flowise: Missing Authentication on NVIDIA NIM Endpoints

Flowise is a drag & drop user interface to build a customized large language model flow. Prior to version 3.0.13, the NVIDIA NIM router (/api/v1/nvidia-nim/*) is whitelisted in the global authentication middleware, allowing unauthenticated access to privileged container management and token generation endpoints. This issue has been patched in version 3.0.13.

Flowise: IDOR leading to Account Takeover and Enterprise Feature Bypass via SSO Configuration

Flowise is a drag & drop user interface to build a customized large language model flow. Prior to version 3.0.13, there is an IDOR vulnerability, leading to account takeover and enterprise feature bypass via SSO configuration. This issue has been patched in version 3.0.13.

Flowise: Mass Assignment in `/api/v1/leads` Endpoint

Flowise is a drag & drop user interface to build a customized large language model flow. Prior to version 3.0.13, unauthenticated users can inject arbitrary values into internal database fields when creating leads. This issue has been patched in version 3.0.13.

Flowise: Arbitrary File Upload via MIME Spoofing

Flowise is a drag & drop user interface to build a customized large language model flow. Prior to version 3.0.13, the /api/v1/attachments/:chatflowId/:chatId endpoint is listed in WHITELIST_URLS, allowing unauthenticated access to the file upload API. While the server validates uploads based on the MIME types defined in chatbotConfig.fullFileUpload.allowedUploadFileTypes, it implicitly trusts the client-provided Content-Type header (file.mimetype) without verifying the file's actual content (magic bytes) or extension (file.originalname). Consequently, an attacker can bypass this restriction by spoofing the Content-Type as a permitted type (e.

Flowise Authorization Bypass via Spoofed x-request-from Header

Flowise is a drag & drop user interface to build a customized large language model flow. Prior to version 3.0.13, Flowise trusts any HTTP client that sets the header x-request-from: internal, allowing an authenticated tenant session to bypass all /api/v1/** authorization checks. With only a browser cookie, a low-privilege tenant can invoke internal administration endpoints (API key management, credential stores, custom function execution, etc.), effectively escalating privilege. This issue has been patched in version 3.0.13.

Flowise is vulnerable to arbitrary file exposure through its ReadFileTool

    ### Summary The ReadFileTool in Flowise does not restrict file path access, allowing authenticated attackers to exploit this vulnerability to read arbitrary files from the file system, potentially leading to remote command execution. ### Details Flowise supports providing ReadFileTool for large models to read files in the server's file system. The implementation of this tool is located at packages/components/nodes/tools/ReadFile/ReadFile.ts. ``` /** * Class for reading files from the disk. Extends the StructuredTool * class. */ export class ReadFileTool extends StructuredTool { static lc_name() { return 'ReadFileTool' }

Flowise is vulnerable to arbitrary file read, arbitrary file write

Flowise is a drag & drop user interface to build a customized large language model flow. In versions prior to 3.0.8, WriteFileTool and ReadFileTool in Flowise do not restrict file path access, allowing authenticated attackers to exploit this vulnerability to read and write arbitrary files to any path in the file system, potentially leading to remote command execution. Flowise 3.0.8 fixes this vulnerability.

Flowise Cloud and Local Deployments have Unauthenticated Password Reset Token Disclosure that Leads to Account Takeover

Flowise is a drag & drop user interface to build a customized large language model flow. In version 3.0.5 and earlier, the `forgot-password` endpoint in Flowise returns sensitive information including a valid password reset `tempToken` without authentication or verification. This enables any attacker to generate a reset token for arbitrary users and directly reset their password, leading to a complete account takeover (ATO). This vulnerability applies to both the cloud service (`cloud.flowiseai.com`) and self-hosted/local Flowise deployments that expose the same API. Crítica · CVSS 9.8EPSS 75,2%Código de explotación públicoSin corrección publicada

Unsupervised OS command execution leads to remote code execution by unauthenticated network attackers

The Custom MCPs feature is designed to execute OS commands, for instance, using tools like `npx` to spin up local MCP Servers. However, Flowise's inherent authentication and authorization model is minimal and lacks role-based access controls (RBAC). Furthermore, in Flowise versions before 3.0.1 the default installation operates without authentication unless explicitly configured. This combination allows unauthenticated network attackers to execute unsandboxed OS commands.

Unintended dynamic code execution leads to remote code execution by network attackers

User-controlled input flows to an unsafe implementation of a dynamic Function constructor, allowing network attackers to run arbitrary unsandboxed JS code in the context of the host, by sending a simple POST request.
