Kirby: Cross-site scripting (XSS) from list field content in the site frontend

Kirby is an open-source content management system. In versions prior to 4.9.1 and 5.4.1, Kirby did not securely sanitize the contents of the list field on save, leaving it vulnerable to cross-site scripting (XSS). Kirby's list field stores its formatted content as HTML, and unlike other field types, its HTML special characters cannot be escaped without losing the formatting. Sanitization was only enforced client-side in the Panel, while the server did not sanitize the content on save. As a result, an attacker could bypass the Panel and send malicious HTML directly to Kirby's API, storing unsanitized markup in the content file. That markup wou

Kirby: `pages.access` permission is not checked during rendering of page drafts

Kirby is an open-source content management system. Versions prior to 4.9.1 and 5.4.1 do not check the `pages.access` permission during page draft rendering. Permissions are defined for each user role in the user blueprint (site/blueprints/users/...). It is also possible to customize the permissions for each target model in the model blueprints (such as in site/blueprints/pages/...) using the options feature. The permissions and options together control the authorization of user actions. Kirby provides the pages.access and pages.list permissions (among others). The list permission controls whether affected models appear in lists throughout th

Kirby: Pre-authentication path traversal and PHP file inclusion during user lookup

Kirby is an open-source content management system. In versions 5.3.0 and above but prior to 5.4.1, Kirby did not correctly validate the provided user ID, resulting in a path traversal vulnerability. Version 5.3.0 introduced a performance improvement to the Users collection that loaded user objects lazily when first needed. Users were queried by their ID, which was then used to locate the corresponding account directory under site/accounts. This affected the authentication API (accessible to unauthenticated requests), the users API (accessible only to authenticated users), and any other place that uses $users->find() to look up an individual u

Kirby: Arbitrary Method Call via REST API search and collection query endpoints

Kirby is an open-source content management system. Prior to 4.9.1 and 5.4.1, Kirby did not validate the model attributes that were used in its collection queries, allowing attackers to include arbitrary model methods in their queries. This includes methods with sensitive data such as password() (disclosing the password hash) or root() (disclosing the absolute filesystem path on the server) as well as methods that perform impactful actions such as loginPasswordless() (causing a privilege escalation to another user) or delete() (deleting all queried models in one go if the authenticated user has appropriate permissions). AVideo has an Authorize.Net Webhook Signature Bypass that Enables Wallet Balance Inflation via Forged Payment Data

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions prior to 29.0, the Authorize.Net webhook handler at plugin/AuthorizeNet/webhook.php contains a signature verification bypass that allows an attacker to forge webhook requests with arbitrary payment amounts and target user IDs. By supplying a valid transaction ID from a small legitimate purchase, the attacker bypasses signature validation and credits arbitrary wallet balances to any user account via attacker-controlled payload fields. Three flaws combine into an exploit chain: signature bypass via OR logic (webhook.php:33), payload values override API-fetched values (AuthorizeNet.php:16

AVideo incomplete fix for CVE-2026-33482: sanitizeFFmpegCommand still allows a single '&' (background operator), giving OS command execution at the same execAsync sh -c sink

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Versions 29.0 and below remain vulnerable to OS command injection because the fix for CVE-2026-33482 was incomplete and still does not neutralize a single & ( the shell background operator). CVE-2026-33482 reported that sanitizeFFmpegCommand() (plugin/API/standAlone/functions.php) failed to strip $(...) command substitution, allowing OS command injection at the execAsync() sh -c sink. The fix (commit 25c8ab90) added $, (, ), {, }, \n, \r to the denylist character class and a str_replace('&&', '', ...), but did not account for the single &. ffmpeg.json.php builds the command from _decryptString(get

AVideo Has Unauthenticated .env File Exposure via Official Docker Compose Configuration

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Versions prior to 29.0 expose .env files to unauthenticated users through the official Docker compose configuration. The official docker-compose.yml mounts the entire project root directory as the Apache document root, causing the .env file — which contains database credentials, admin passwords, and infrastructure configuration — to be served as a static file at /.env. No .htaccess rule or Apache configuration blocks access to dotfiles. Exploitation enables direct database access, admin panel takeover, and further lateral movement within the Docker network. adawolfa/isdoc: Uncontrolled resource consumption (decompression bomb) when reading untrusted ISDOCX or PDF files

    ### Impact `adawolfa/isdoc` reads ISDOC invoices from ISDOCX (ZIP) archives and from PDF files with embedded ISDOC documents and supplements. Affected versions inflate ZIP entries and read embedded files **without validating their uncompressed size**, so a small crafted file can amplify into gigabytes: - **ISDOCX decompression bomb** — `getFromName()` inflates the ISDOC document and binary supplements with no size cap. - **`saveTo()` disk-fill** — the supplement copy loop writes inflated bytes to disk with no running byte budget, so a bomb can exhaust disk even if the central-directory size is under-reported. - **PDF embedded files** — an e

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Versions prior to 29.0 contain a stored DOM Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability in the YPTSocket plugin. Any unauthenticated remote attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the authenticated origin of every administrator currently viewing a page that renders the YPTSocket online-users debug panel. plugin/YPTSocket/getWebSocket.json.php issues a signed WebSocket token to any anonymous caller, and MessageSQLiteV2::onOpen at plugin/YPTSocket/MessageSQLiteV2.php lines 91 and 110 reads the attacker-controlled webSocketSelfURI and page_title query parameters from the WebSocket connection URL with no

WWBN AVideo: Stored XSS via Hostile YouTube Video Title in AVideo YouTubeAPI Gallery Section

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Versions 29.0 and below contain a stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability in the YouTubeAPI plugin. The plugin renders the snippet.title field returned by the YouTube Data API into the homepage gallery markup with no HTML encoding. The title is set by the YouTube video uploader (anyone in the world) and is treated by AVideo as trusted content. A YouTube uploader who controls a video matching the operator's configured query injects HTML into the AVideo homepage by setting their video's title to a JavaScript-bearing string; the payload then executes in the browser of every visitor who loads any pa

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Versions prior to 29.0 contain an unauthenticated Reflected XSS vulnerability through AVideo YouTubeAPI Gallery Pagination. The $_GET['search'] query parameter is concatenated directly into the href attribute of two pagination links in plugin/YouTubeAPI/gallerySection.php (lines 67 and 74) with no htmlspecialchars, no urlencode, and no allow-list check. WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Versions 29.0 and below contain a Stored XSS vulnerability through the autoEvalCodeOnHTML parameter in the MessageSQLite WebSocket Handler. The MessageSQLite.php handler only strips autoEvalCodeOnHTML from $json['msg'], but msgToResourceId() reads from $msg['json'] with higher priority. An attacker can place the XSS payload in the json key instead of msg, bypassing the sanitization entirely. AVideo's Privilege AVideo: Escalation via Unguarded Permission Parameters in signUp API Allows Self-Granting Upload/Stream/Meet Permissions

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Prior to version 29.0, Privilege Escalation is possible through unguarded permission parameters in signUp API, which allows any user who can solve a CAPTCHA to self-grant elevated permissions during account registration. The set_api_signUp method in the API plugin accepts emailVerified, canUpload, canStream, and canCreateMeet parameters from user-supplied input and applies them to newly created accounts without verifying that the request was authenticated with a valid APISecret. MantisBT: Stored XSS in print_all_bug_page_word.php

A missing output encoding call in print_all_bug_page_word.php allows any authenticated user to inject arbitrary HTML into an IMG tag's *alt* attribute via an image attachment with a crafted filename such as `probe." onload="alert(1)`. When any user views the HTML export page (print_all_bug_page_word.php?type_page=html&export=1), the rendered IMG tag becomes `<img src="..." alt="" onload="alert(1)" />`, breaking out of the alt attribute. ### Impact Cross-site scripting. MantisBT: Injection of TIME_TRACKING and REMINDER Notes via REST and SOAP APIs

Unvalidated note_type Parameter in mc_issue_update SOAP Endpoint Allows creation of TIME_TRACKING and REMINDER Notes. The SOAP path passes the user-supplied note_type integer directly to bugnote_add() without validating that the user is authorized to create that type of note. If the user's access level is higher than *$g_time_tracking_view_threshold*, they can also inject arbitrary hours into billing reports. REST API also allows injection of TIME_TRACKING notes (but not REMINDER) through the same mc_issue_update() function. ### Impact An attacker with UPDATER access could: - Inject fake billable hours via TIME_TRACKING notes (note_type=2),

Koel has SSRF through Authenticated Subsonic podcast feed URLs

    ## Summary Koel's Subsonic `createPodcastChannel.view` endpoint accepts a user supplied podcast feed URL and fetches it server-side before applying the safe URL checks that are used for podcast episode enclosure URLs. An authenticated Subsonic API user can provide a loopback or internal URL as the feed URL and cause the Koel backend to issue a request to that address. A related redirect gap exists in the podcast stream helper: `PodcastService::getStreamableUrl()` validates only the original URL, then lets Guzzle follow redirects and accepts the final redirected URL without re-validating it. ## Impact An attacker with any valid Koel accoun
