media: v4l2-core: Fix a potential resource leak in v4l2_fwnode_parse_link()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: v4l2-core: Fix a potential resource leak in v4l2_fwnode_parse_link() If fwnode_graph_get_remote_endpoint() fails, 'fwnode' is known to be NULL, so fwnode_handle_put() is a no-op. Release the reference taken from a previous fwnode_graph_get_port_parent() call instead. Also handle fwnode_graph_get_port_parent() failures. In order to fix these issues, add an error handling path to the function and the needed gotos.

keys: Fix linking a duplicate key to a keyring's assoc_array

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: keys: Fix linking a duplicate key to a keyring's assoc_array When making a DNS query inside the kernel using dns_query(), the request code can in rare cases end up creating a duplicate index key in the assoc_array of the destination keyring. It is eventually found by a BUG_ON() check in the assoc_array implementation and results in a crash. Example report: [2158499.700025] kernel BUG at ../lib/assoc_array.c:652! RDMA/mlx4: Prevent shift wrapping in set_user_sq_size()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/mlx4: Prevent shift wrapping in set_user_sq_size() The ucmd->log_sq_bb_count variable is controlled by the user so this shift can wrap. Fix it by using check_shl_overflow() in the same way that it was done in commit 515f60004ed9 ("RDMA/hns: Prevent undefined behavior in hns_roce_set_user_sq_size()").

ipv6: ensure sane device mtu in tunnels

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: ensure sane device mtu in tunnels Another syzbot report [1] with no reproducer hints at a bug in ip6_gre tunnel (dev:ip6gretap0) Since ipv6 mcast code makes sure to read dev->mtu once and applies a sanity check on it (see commit b9b312a7a451 "ipv6: mcast: better catch silly mtu values"), a remaining possibility is that a layer is able to set dev->mtu to an underflowed value (high order bit set). This could happen indeed in ip6gre_tnl_link_config_route(), ip6_tnl_link_config() and ipip6_tunnel_bind_dev() Make sure to sanitize mtu value in a local variable before it

We should use put_device(&chdev->dev) to decrease the ref count of chdev->dev to avoid refcount leak.

During consequent mfc execution NULL pointer dereferencing of this context led to kernel panic. This patch fixes this issue by making sure to clear ctx_work_bits always.

btrfs: don't free qgroup space unless specified

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: don't free qgroup space unless specified Boris noticed in his simple quotas testing that he was getting a leak with Sweet Tea's change to subvol create that stopped doing a transaction commit. This was just a side effect of that change. In the delayed inode code we have an optimization that will free extra reservations if we think we can pack a dir item into an already modified leaf. Previously this wouldn't be triggered in the subvolume create case because we'd commit the transaction, it was still possible but much harder to trigger. It could actually be trigger

Commit e198987e7dd7 ("gtp: fix suspicious RCU usage") added lock_sock() and release_sock() in __gtp_encap_destroy() to protect sk->sk_user_data, but release_sock() is called after sock_put() releases the last refcnt. nilfs2: fix WARNING in mark_buffer_dirty due to discarded buffer reuse

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nilfs2: fix WARNING in mark_buffer_dirty due to discarded buffer reuse A syzbot stress test using a corrupted disk image reported that mark_buffer_dirty() called from __nilfs_mark_inode_dirty() or nilfs_palloc_commit_alloc_entry() may output a kernel warning, and can panic if the kernel is booted with panic_on_warn. This is because nilfs2 keeps buffer pointers in local structures for some metadata and reuses them, but such buffers may be forcibly discarded by nilfs_clear_dirty_page() in some critical situations. This issue is reported to appear after commit 28a65b49eb53 (
