    net: enetc: deny offload of tc-based TSN features on VF interfaces

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: enetc: deny offload of tc-based TSN features on VF interfaces TSN features on the ENETC (taprio, cbs, gate, police) are configured through a mix of command BD ring messages and port registers: enetc_port_rd(), enetc_port_wr(). Port registers are a region of the ENETC memory map which are only accessible from the PCIe Physical Function. They are not accessible from the Virtual Functions. Moreover, attempting to access these registers crashes the kernel: $ echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/devices/0000\:00\:00.0/sriov_numvfs pci 0000:00:01.0: [1957:ef00] type 00 class 0x020001 fs

    net/sched: taprio: avoid disabling offload when it was never enabled

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: taprio: avoid disabling offload when it was never enabled In an incredibly strange API design decision, qdisc->destroy() gets called even if qdisc->init() never succeeded, not exclusively since commit 87b60cfacf9f ("net_sched: fix error recovery at qdisc creation"), but apparently also earlier (in the case of qdisc_create_dflt()). The taprio qdisc does not fully acknowledge this when it attempts full offload, because it starts off with q->flags = TAPRIO_FLAGS_INVALID in taprio_init(), then it replaces q->flags with TCA_TAPRIO_ATTR_FLAGS parsed from netlink (in t

    netfilter: nf_tables: fix nft_counters_enabled underflow at nf_tables_addchain()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: fix nft_counters_enabled underflow at nf_tables_addchain() syzbot is reporting underflow of nft_counters_enabled counter at nf_tables_addchain() [1], for commit 43eb8949cfdffa76 ("netfilter: nf_tables: do not leave chain stats enabled on error") missed that nf_tables_chain_destroy() after nft_basechain_init() in the error path of nf_tables_addchain() decrements the counter because nft_basechain_init() makes nft_is_base_chain() return true by setting NFT_CHAIN_BASE flag. Increment the counter immediately after returning from nft_basechain_init().

    netfilter: nf_tables: fix percpu memory leak at nf_tables_addchain()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: fix percpu memory leak at nf_tables_addchain() It seems to me that percpu memory for chain stats started leaking since commit 3bc158f8d0330f0a ("netfilter: nf_tables: map basechain priority to hardware priority") when nft_chain_offload_priority() returned an error.

    bonding: fix NULL deref in bond_rr_gen_slave_id

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bonding: fix NULL deref in bond_rr_gen_slave_id Fix a NULL dereference of the struct bonding.rr_tx_counter member because if a bond is initially created with an initial mode != zero (Round Robin) the memory required for the counter is never created and when the mode is changed there is never any attempt to verify the memory is allocated upon switching modes. This causes the following Oops on an aarch64 machine: [ 334.686773] Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address ffff2c91ac905000 [ 334.694703] Mem abort info: [ 334.697486] ESR = 0x000000

    bnxt: prevent skb UAF after handing over to PTP worker

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bnxt: prevent skb UAF after handing over to PTP worker When reading the timestamp is required bnxt_tx_int() hands over the ownership of the completed skb to the PTP worker. The skb should not be used afterwards, as the worker may run before the rest of our code and free the skb, leading to a use-after-free. Since dev_kfree_skb_any() accepts NULL make the loss of ownership more obvious and set skb to NULL.

    s390/dasd: fix Oops in dasd_alias_get_start_dev due to missing pavgroup

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/dasd: fix Oops in dasd_alias_get_start_dev due to missing pavgroup Fix Oops in dasd_alias_get_start_dev() function caused by the pavgroup pointer being NULL. The pavgroup pointer is checked on the entrance of the function but without the lcu->lock being held. Therefore there is a race window between dasd_alias_get_start_dev() and _lcu_update() which sets pavgroup to NULL with the lcu->lock held. Fix by checking the pavgroup pointer with lcu->lock held.

    drm/gma500: Fix BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context errors

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/gma500: Fix BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context errors gma_crtc_page_flip() was holding the event_lock spinlock while calling crtc_funcs->mode_set_base() which takes ww_mutex. The only reason to hold event_lock is to clear gma_crtc->page_flip_event on mode_set_base() errors. Instead unlock it after setting gma_crtc->page_flip_event and on errors re-take the lock and clear gma_crtc->page_flip_event it it is still set. This fixes the following WARN/stacktrace: [ 512.122953] BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context at kernel/locking/mutex.c:87

However, there are no checks that verify that the number of entries (eh->eh_entries) is non-zero when depth is > 0. binder: check offset alignment in binder_get_object()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: binder: check offset alignment in binder_get_object() Commit 6d98eb95b450 ("binder: avoid potential data leakage when copying txn") introduced changes to how binder objects are copied. In doing so, it unintentionally removed an offset alignment check done through calls to binder_alloc_copy_from_buffer() -> check_buffer(). These calls were replaced in binder_get_object() with copy_from_user(), so now an explicit offset alignment check is needed here. This avoids later complications when unwinding the objects gets harder. It is worth noting this check existed prior to commi

    netfilter: nf_tables: release mutex after nft_gc_seq_end from abort path

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: release mutex after nft_gc_seq_end from abort path The commit mutex should not be released during the critical section between nft_gc_seq_begin() and nft_gc_seq_end(), otherwise, async GC worker could collect expired objects and get the released commit lock within the same GC sequence. nf_tables_module_autoload() temporarily releases the mutex to load module dependencies, then it goes back to replay the transaction again. Move it at the end of the abort phase after nft_gc_seq_end() is called.
