bpf: sockmap: Fix use-after-free of sk->sk_socket in sk_psock_verdict_data_ready().

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: sockmap: Fix use-after-free of sk->sk_socket in sk_psock_verdict_data_ready(). syzbot reported use-after-free of AF_UNIX socket's sk->sk_socket in sk_psock_verdict_data_ready(). [0] In unix_stream_sendmsg(), the peer socket's ->sk_data_ready() is called after dropping its unix_state_lock(). Although the sender socket holds the peer's refcount, it does not prevent the peer's sock_orphan(), and the peer's sk_socket might be freed after one RCU grace period. Let's fetch the peer's sk->sk_socket and sk->sk_socket->ops under RCU in sk_psock_verdict_data_ready(). [0]: BU

net: macb: fix clk handling on PCI glue driver removal

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: macb: fix clk handling on PCI glue driver removal platform_device_unregister() may still want to use the registered clks during runtime resume callback. Note that there is a commit d82d5303c4c5 ("net: macb: fix use after free on rmmod") that addressed the similar problem of clk vs platform device unregistration but just moved the bug to another place. Save the pointers to clks into local variables for reuse after platform device is unregistered. net/x25: Fix potential double free of skb

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/x25: Fix potential double free of skb When alloc_skb fails in x25_queue_rx_frame it calls kfree_skb(skb) at line 48 and returns 1 (error). This error propagates back through the call chain: x25_queue_rx_frame returns 1 | v x25_state3_machine receives the return value 1 and takes the else branch at line 278, setting queued=0 and returning 0 | v x25_process_rx_frame returns queued=0 | v x25_backlog_rcv at line 452 sees queued=0 and calls kfree_skb(skb) again This would free the same skb twice. bpf: Fix incorrect pruning due to atomic fetch precision tracking

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix incorrect pruning due to atomic fetch precision tracking When backtrack_insn encounters a BPF_STX instruction with BPF_ATOMIC and BPF_FETCH, the src register (or r0 for BPF_CMPXCHG) also acts as a destination, thus receiving the old value from the memory location. The current backtracking logic does not account for this. It treats atomic fetch operations the same as regular stores where the src register is only an input. This leads the backtrack_insn to fail to propagate precision to the stack location, which is then not marked as precise! Later, the verifier's p

drm/ioc32: stop speculation on the drm_compat_ioctl path

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/ioc32: stop speculation on the drm_compat_ioctl path The drm compat ioctl path takes a user controlled pointer, and then dereferences it into a table of function pointers, the signature method of spectre problems. Fix this up by calling array_index_nospec() on the index to the function pointer list.

wifi: wilc1000: fix u8 overflow in SSID scan buffer size calculation

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: wilc1000: fix u8 overflow in SSID scan buffer size calculation The variable valuesize is declared as u8 but accumulates the total length of all SSIDs to scan. Each SSID contributes up to 33 bytes (IEEE80211_MAX_SSID_LEN + 1), and with WILC_MAX_NUM_PROBED_SSID (10) SSIDs the total can reach 330, which wraps around to 74 when stored in a u8. This causes kmalloc to allocate only 75 bytes while the subsequent memcpy writes up to 331 bytes into the buffer, resulting in a 256-byte heap buffer overflow. Widen valuesize from u8 to u32 to accommodate the full range.

ALSA: caiaq: fix stack out-of-bounds read in init_card

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: caiaq: fix stack out-of-bounds read in init_card The loop creates a whitespace-stripped copy of the card shortname where `len < sizeof(card->id)` is used for the bounds check. Since sizeof(card->id) is 16 and the local id buffer is also 16 bytes, writing 16 non-space characters fills the entire buffer, overwriting the terminating nullbyte. When this non-null-terminated string is later passed to snd_card_set_id() -> copy_valid_id_string(), the function scans forward with `while (*nid && ...)` and reads past the end of the stack buffer, reading the contents of the stac

Bluetooth: SMP: derive legacy responder STK authentication from MITM state

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: SMP: derive legacy responder STK authentication from MITM state The legacy responder path in smp_random() currently labels the stored STK as authenticated whenever pending_sec_level is BT_SECURITY_HIGH. That reflects what the local service requested, not what the pairing flow actually achieved. For Just Works/Confirm legacy pairing, SMP_FLAG_MITM_AUTH stays clear and the resulting STK should remain unauthenticated even if the local side requested HIGH security. Use the established MITM state when storing the responder STK so the key metadata matches the pairing

Bluetooth: hci_event: move wake reason storage into validated event handlers

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_event: move wake reason storage into validated event handlers hci_store_wake_reason() is called from hci_event_packet() immediately after stripping the HCI event header but before hci_event_func() enforces the per-event minimum payload length from hci_ev_table. This means a short HCI event frame can reach bacpy() before any bounds check runs. Rather than duplicating skb parsing and per-event length checks inside hci_store_wake_reason(), move wake-address storage into the individual event handlers after their existing event-length validation has succeeded. hwmon: (occ) Fix division by zero in occ_show_power_1()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (occ) Fix division by zero in occ_show_power_1() In occ_show_power_1() case 1, the accumulator is divided by update_tag without checking for zero. If no samples have been collected yet (e.g. during early boot when the sensor block is included but hasn't been updated), update_tag is zero, causing a kernel divide-by-zero crash. The 2019 fix in commit 211186cae14d ("hwmon: (occ) Fix division by zero issue") only addressed occ_get_powr_avg() used by occ_show_power_2() and occ_show_power_a0(). This separate code path in occ_show_power_1() was missed. Fix this by reusing

iio: adc: ti-adc161s626: use DMA-safe memory for spi_read()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: adc: ti-adc161s626: use DMA-safe memory for spi_read() Add a DMA-safe buffer and use it for spi_read() instead of a stack memory. All SPI buffers must be DMA-safe. Since we only need up to 3 bytes, we just use a u8[] instead of __be16 and __be32 and change the conversion functions appropriately.

drm/i915/dsi: Don't do DSC horizontal timing adjustments in command mode

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/i915/dsi: Don't do DSC horizontal timing adjustments in command mode Stop adjusting the horizontal timing values based on the compression ratio in command mode. Bspec seems to be telling us to do this only in video mode, and this is also how the Windows driver does things. This should also fix a div-by-zero on some machines because the adjusted htotal ends up being so small that we end up with line_time_us==0 when trying to determine the vtotal value in command mode. Note that this doesn't actually make the display on the Huawei Matebook E work, but at least the kerne

usb: ulpi: fix double free in ulpi_register_interface() error path

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: ulpi: fix double free in ulpi_register_interface() error path When device_register() fails, ulpi_register() calls put_device() on ulpi->dev. The device release callback ulpi_dev_release() drops the OF node reference and frees ulpi, but the current error path in ulpi_register_interface() then calls kfree(ulpi) again, causing a double free. Let put_device() handle the cleanup through ulpi_dev_release() and avoid freeing ulpi again in ulpi_register_interface().

usb: cdns3: gadget: fix NULL pointer dereference in ep_queue

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: cdns3: gadget: fix NULL pointer dereference in ep_queue When the gadget endpoint is disabled or not yet configured, the ep->desc pointer can be NULL. This leads to a NULL pointer dereference when __cdns3_gadget_ep_queue() is called, causing a kernel crash. Add a check to return -ESHUTDOWN if ep->desc is NULL, which is the standard return code for unconfigured endpoints. This prevents potential crashes when ep_queue is called on endpoints that are not ready.
