multer vulnerable to Denial of Service via orphaned disk writes on aborted uploads
multer is a Node.js middleware for handling multipart/form-data uploads. In versions 2.2.0 through 2.3.0, when a request using disk storage is aborted mid-upload, file writes that complete after multer has already run its abort cleanup are not removed, so each aborted upload can leave an orphaned file on disk. A remote unauthenticated attacker can repeatedly start and abort uploads to accumulate orphaned files and exhaust disk space, causing a denial of service. The issue is fixed in multer 2.4.0, and users should upgrade to 2.4.0 or later.
Nodemailer 9.1.0 through 10.0.4 Denial of Service via Quadratic Address Parsing
Nodemailer versions 9.1.0 through 10.0.4 contain a quadratic time complexity vulnerability in the addressparser component when parsing email addresses with RFC 5322 comments. Attackers can craft malicious email headers with comment-separated atoms to consume excessive CPU and block the Node.js event loop for several seconds, causing denial of service.
joi before 17.13.8 and 18.2.9 Prototype Pollution via messages
joi before versions 17.13.8 and 18.2.9 contains a prototype pollution vulnerability in the messages compilation function that accepts __proto__ as an error code. Attackers can supply __proto__ keys in custom messages to replace the returned object's prototype, breaking downstream code relying on Object.prototype methods.
compression vulnerable to Denial of Service via memory leak on premature response close
compression is a Node.js and Express compression middleware. In versions before 1.8.2, when a client aborts the connection while a compressed response is still being sent, the zlib stream created to compress that response is never destroyed, so each aborted compressed response leaks its native zlib memory. A remote unauthenticated attacker can repeatedly open requests and disconnect early, exhausting the available memory and crashing the server. All applications using compression are affected. The issue is fixed in compression 1.8.2, and users should upgrade to 1.8.2 or later.
morgan vulnerable to Log Injection via unescaped double quote in quoted log fields
morgan is an HTTP request logger middleware for Node.js. In versions before 1.12.1, its escapeLogField() function does not escape the double quote character, which delimits the quoted fields of the Apache combined log format that morgan emits. An unauthenticated remote attacker who controls a value written to a quoted field, such as the User-Agent or Referer header, can include a double quote to close that field early, so a log consumer that parses the log by field position reads attacker-supplied text as the following field. In the built-in formats this makes the recorded value differ from the value that was sent, and in custom formats that
OmniRoute is an open-source AI gateway providing a single endpoint for multiple model providers. In 3.8.49 and earlier, the OmniRoute POST /api/acp/agents custom ACP agent endpoint accepted attacker-controlled binary and versionCommand values and used only a self-consistency check before execFileSync executed the selected interpreter and arguments. The same request called refreshAgentCache, and resolveVersionProbe accepted the matched command before the execFileSync sink ran it. The tokenizeVersionCommand function and DISALLOWED_VERSION_COMMAND_CHARS filter rejected a limited set of shell metacharacters but still allowed interpreter evaluatio
Angular: SSR XSS via Unescaped <template> Content Across DocumentFragment Boundaries in Fallback Raw-Content Elements
Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 20.3.30, 21.2.22, and 22.1.4, Angular server-side rendering (SSR) in @angular/platform-server serializes untrusted input inside template content nested in fallback raw-content elements such as noscript, iframe, noembed, and noframes. The Domino serializer's fallbackRawContentTags traversal stopped at the DocumentFragment used by template.content, so matching closing tags in xmp, style, script, comments, or text nodes were not escaped. Standard interpolation with comments or text nodes is reachable withou
Angular: Information Leak via `HttpTransferCache` Bypass When Using `withRequestsMadeViaParent`
Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 20.3.28, 21.2.20, and 22.1.1, Angular's @angular/common HttpTransferCache can cache an authenticated response when Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and hydration use a hierarchical HttpClient configured with withRequestsMadeViaParent. The child TransferCache evaluates an initially anonymous request before delegation, then a parent withInterceptors chain adds an Authorization header, cookie, or API token; although the parent cache skips the authenticated request, the child still stores the private response in
Angular: SSR XSS via Unescaped Processing Instruction (<?...?>) Nodes in Fallback Raw-Content Elements
Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 20.3.30, 21.2.22, and 22.1.4, Angular server-side rendering (SSR) in @angular/platform-server serializes ProcessingInstruction DOM nodes inside fallback raw-content elements without escaping matching ancestor closing tags. ProcessingInstruction data escaped greater-than characters but left less-than characters untouched and did not inspect fallback ancestors, so data such as a matching closing tag prematurely terminates noscript, iframe, noembed, or noframes containers. The vulnerable nodes cannot be aut
Angular: Sanitization bypass via directive host bindings on concrete host elements in @angular/core and @angular/compiler
Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 20.3.28, 21.2.20, and 22.1.0, Angular's compiler and runtime in @angular/core and @angular/compiler could omit or select an incorrect sanitizer for security-sensitive directive host bindings because SecurityContext was derived from the declaring directive or component selector rather than the concrete host element. The mismatch is reachable through hostDirectives composition, inherited HostBinding declarations, createComponent with a custom hostElement or dynamic directives, SVG/MathML namespace elements
Angular: SSRF and Cross-Origin Credential Disclosure via URL Resolution Discrepancy in SSR
Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 20.3.30, 21.2.22, and 22.1.4, Angular Server-Side Rendering in @angular/platform-server processes user-controlled resource or request URLs through HttpClient after application code validates them with WHATWG URL parsing. The resolveUrl and parseUrl utilities called String.prototype.trim(), which removed leading Unicode whitespace such as U+00A0 or U+FEFF after the input passed a same-origin check, converting a relative path into a protocol-relative attacker-controlled URL. In affected applications that a
@eigenpal/docx-editor-react: CSS injection and print-time XSS via unescaped embedded font-family name
## Summary
Embedded font-family names (`word/fontTable.xml`) were interpolated unescaped into an injected `@font-face` `<style>` and into the print window's `document.write()`. A crafted name injects page-wide CSS on open, and breaks out of `<style>`
into executable HTML on Print.
## Impact
Opening a crafted `.docx` applies attacker-controlled CSS page-wide with zero clicks (overlay/phishing, attribute-selector exfiltration of input values, tracking beacons). Clicking Print escalates to script execution in the embedder's origin.
## Remediation
Upgrade to 1.8.3. Font names are CSS-escaped before interpolation (quotes, backslash, `< >`, and
OpenAPI3 version value escapes `emitterOutputDir` and overwrites YAML/JSON outside the output tree
### Summary
The `@typespec/openapi3` emitter retains the value of a `@versioned` enum member and interpolates it into the output filename as `{version}` without sanitizing path separators or traversal components. The completed path reaches the compiler's `emitFile()`, which creates the parent directory and writes the file without verifying containment under `emitterOutputDir`.
A crafted declarative `.tsp` input can therefore create or overwrite an OpenAPI-formatted `.yaml` or `.json` file outside the configured output tree, subject to the compiler process's filesystem permissions. No executable TypeSpec extension or attacker-controlled Java
n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 2.37.7 and 2.38.2, the OAuth Dynamic Client Registration endpoint bounded redirect_uris but accepted arbitrarily large client_name and grant_types values. An unauthenticated remote caller could repeatedly persist oversized values in oauth_clients and exhaust database storage. The affected validation is in packages/cli/src/modules/oauth-server/oauth-server.service.ts, including MAX_CLIENT_NAME_LENGTH and MAX_GRANT_TYPES. This issue is fixed in versions 2.37.7 and 2.38.2.
n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.123.76, 2.37.7, and 2.38.2, the expression compiler sanitizer resolved through dynamically scoped this and did not reject reserved class member names. A class field named __sanitize could rebind the sanitizer and reach the Function constructor, enabling backend code execution and editor-preview JavaScript execution. The affected AST hook is PrototypeSanitizer in packages/workflow/src/expression-sandboxing.ts. This issue is fixed in versions 1.123.76, 2.37.7 and 2.38.2.
n8n: Anonymous Approval-Gate Bypass via Reused resumeToken over the Chat WebSocket
n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 2.37.7 and 2.38.2, the /chat WebSocket route accepted a resumeToken and resumed a paused execution without checking that the target node supported chat messages. An anonymous form submitter who received that token could reuse it on the chat route to release a Send-and-Wait, non-chat HITL, or Wait approval gate. The affected authorization logic is packages/cli/src/chat/chat-execution-manager.ts, where canResumeOverChat did not gate the resume target. This issue is fixed in versions 2.37.7 and 2.38.2.
n8n: Prototype Pollution via Workflow Structure Summary Can Lead to Denial of Service
n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 2.37.7 and 2.38.2, the Instance AI workflow summary used node names and connection keys from stored workflows as ordinary object keys. A workflow submitted through the REST API could contain __proto__ or constructor, causing nested writes to reach Object.prototype in the main n8n process and disrupt later requests. The affected function is summarizeWorkflowStructure in packages/@n8n/instance-ai/src/tools/workflows/summarize-workflow.ts. This issue is fixed in versions 2.37.7 and 2.38.2.
n8n: Path Injection in Elasticsearch and ElasticSecurity Nodes via Unencoded Identifiers
n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.123.76, 2.37.7, and 2.38.2, the Elasticsearch and ElasticSecurity nodes interpolated workflow-controlled index and document identifiers directly into REST request paths. An identifier containing path separators or dot segments could select another index or a cluster administration endpoint under the stored Elasticsearch credential. The affected request construction includes packages/nodes-base/nodes/Elastic/Elasticsearch/GenericFunctions.ts and the missing toPathSegment encoding. This issue is fixed in versions 1.123.76, 2.37.7 and 2.38.2.
Astro: Remote code execution through AVIF image optimization
A vulnerability in `libheif`, used by the default Sharp image service in Astro, can lead to remote code execution when a malicious AVIF image is optimized.
Projects are affected when an attacker can cause Astro to process an untrusted AVIF image.
The fix was released in Astro 7.2.8, which requires Sharp 0.35.4.
n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.123.76, 2.37.7, and 2.38.2, the GitHub Trigger generated a webhook secret but discarded it when GitHub returned HTTP 422 and the node reused an existing webhook. Workflow static data then retained webhookId without webhookSecret, and X-Hub-Signature-256 verification accepted deliveries without a stored secret. The affected logic includes packages/nodes-base/nodes/Github/GithubTriggerHelpers.ts and the 422 webhook reuse path. This issue is fixed in versions 1.123.76, 2.37.7 and 2.38.2.
