Snipe-IT's selectlist visibility is too permissive
Snipe-IT is an IT asset/license management system. Prior to version 8.6.1, the GET /api/v1/{object}/selectlist API endpoint is missing an authorization check. Any user who can log into Snipe-IT - regardless of permissions - can retrieve a paginated list of all user accounts using only their web session cookie. No API token or elevated permissions are required. This exposes usernames, display names, employee numbers, and user IDs for every active account in the system if FMCS is not enabled, and within the company they belong to if FMCS is enabled. Version 8.6.1 contains a patch.
Snipe-IT's S3 signature image retrieval lacks authorization before temporary URL
Snipe-IT is an IT asset/license management system. Prior to version 8.6.1, Snipe-IT S3 signature image retrieval lacks authorization before temporary URL. On S3-backed deployments, authenticated users who know a signature filename can obtain a 5-minute signed S3 URL because the S3 branch returns before the `authorize()` call used by the local-file branch. Version 8.6.1 contains a patch.
Composer: URL-embedded HTTP-Basic username leaks to verbose logs (GitHub PAT exposure)
Composer is a dependency Manager for the PHP language. Prior to 2.2.29 and 2.10.2, when Composer is run with -vvv debug verbosity, it could print a credential embedded in the username slot of a repository or package URL, such as a GitHub Personal Access Token in https://TOKEN@host/, to debug output because AuthHelper, Url::sanitize, and ProcessExecutor did not sanitize username-only URL credentials. This issue is fixed in versions 2.2.29 and 2.10.2.
Composer: Arbitrary file write outside vendor via malicious transitive package name
Composer is a dependency Manager for the PHP language. Prior to 2.2.29 and 2.10.2, a maliciously crafted package from an untrusted repository other than Packagist.org or Private Packagist can cause Composer to write attacker-controlled files outside the vendor directory and outside the project during install or update by using an invalid package name that is not correctly validated before dependency-resolution results are written or installed. This issue is fixed in versions 2.2.29 and 2.10.2.
Composer: Path traversal in package bin field lets dependencies chmod arbitrary host files
Composer is a dependency Manager for the PHP language. Prior to 2.2.29 and 2.10.2, a Composer package bin entry containing .. path segments can resolve outside the package install directory and cause Composer's binary installation flow to chmod an existing host file to a world-readable and world-executable mode during composer install, update, or require. This issue is fixed in versions 2.2.29 and 2.10.2.
Guzzle: Cookie Disclosure and Injection via IP-Address Domains
Guzzle is an extensible PHP HTTP client. Prior to 7.12.3, CookieJar did not restrict cookies scoped to IP-address or bare-numeric Domain values to the exact host that set them, because SetCookie::matchesDomain() applied ordinary suffix matching to domains such as 192.168.0.1, [::1], or 1, allowing cross-host cookie disclosure, cookie injection, or session fixation. This issue is fixed in version 7.12.3.
guzzlehttp/psr7: Host Confusion via Weak URI Host Validation
guzzlehttp/psr7 is a PSR-7 HTTP message library implementation in PHP. Prior to 2.12.3, Uri::assertValidHost() does not reject URI host components containing authority delimiters, embedded ports, or malformed IPv6 brackets, allowing Uri::getHost() to disagree with the URI authority used for security or routing decisions. This issue is fixed in version 2.12.3.
AVideo - Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Unescaped User-Agent in Participants Panel
AVideo (Meet plugin) through commit e8d6119f3cb1b849149906efeb0a41fc024f59f8 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Meet plugin's getMeetInfo.json.php endpoint. When a participant joins a public meeting, the raw HTTP User-Agent header is stored (meet_join_log.user_agent) without sanitization (bypassing AVideo's setter-level xss_esc() layer) and later echoed without output encoding (no htmlspecialchars()) in the Participants management panel, which is accessible to the meeting host and site administrators. An anonymous, unauthenticated attacker can join any public meeting while supplying a User-Agent header containing an H
Grav - Stored CSS Injection via Markdown Image resize() Action
Grav before 2.0.0 (affected through 2.0.0-rc.9 and the 2.0 branch) contains a stored CSS injection vulnerability in the Markdown image resize() media action. Prior media hardening rejects direct ?style= payloads and unsafe attribute() fallbacks, but the resize() action in Excerpts::processMediaActions() writes caller-controlled values directly into the image's styleAttributes. A lower-privileged content editor who can edit page Markdown can store a crafted image URL with semicolon-delimited CSS declarations in the resize parameters, which are rendered into the final <img style=...> attribute when a higher-privileged reviewer/admin views the p
Webauthn: SimpleFakeCredentialGenerator with an empty secret produces predictable fake credentials, weakening username enumeration protection
## Impact
`Webauthn\SimpleFakeCredentialGenerator` is the library-provided default implementation of the `FakeCredentialGenerator` interface. It returns a stable list of decoy `PublicKeyCredentialDescriptor` objects for a given username so that an assertion request for an unknown user looks the same as a request for a real one, which mitigates username enumeration.
The generator derives the whole decoy list from a single seed:
```php
$seed = hash('sha256', $username . $this->secret, true);
```
When it is constructed without a secret (its constructor default, `$secret = ''`), the seed depends only on the username. The username is attacker-
EGroupware Vulnerable to Local File Inclusion via file:// URI in Mail Compose
### Summary
The function processes image URLs embedded in an HTML email body without validating or restricting URI schemes. The check `!str_starts_with($myUrl, 'http')` evaluates to true for `file://` URIs, causing `file_get_contents($basedir . urldecode($myUrl))` to read arbitrary files from the server filesystem and embed them as inline MIME attachments in outgoing email.
str_starts_with('file:///etc/passwd', 'http') → **false**
!false → **true**
```php
// api/src/Mail.php
foreach($images[2] as $i => $url)
{
//$isData = false;
$basedir = $data = '';
$needTempFile = true;
$attachmentData = ['name' => '', 'type' => '',
A flaw has been found in Craft CMS up to 4.18.0.1. Affected by this vulnerability is the function actionGetNewUsersData of the file src/controllers/ChartsController.php of the component Charts Endpoint. This manipulation of the argument userGroupId causes improper authorization. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. Upgrading to version 4.18.1 addresses this issue. Patch name: 9ee53efc1314e6aba32771c66a13e072a246f4ce. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component.
A vulnerability was detected in Craft CMS up to 4.18.0.1. Affected is the function actionReorderSets of the file src/controllers/GlobalsController.php of the component reorder-sets Endpoint. The manipulation results in authorization bypass. The attack can be executed remotely. Upgrading to version 4.18.1 is able to address this issue. The patch is identified as 9bd05c91e6a7e6da5e949ec41a31c220c059aa04. The affected component should be upgraded.
ext/openssl: Memory corruption in openssl_encrypt with AES-WRAP-PAD
In PHP versions 8.2.* before 8.2.32, 8.3.* before 8.3.32, 8.4.* before 8.4.23, 8.5.* before 8.5.8, the AES-WRAP-PAD algorithm implementation in OpenSSL extension contains a buffer allocation flaw. The output buffer for the AES key-wrap-with-padding operation is sized from the plaintext length without accounting for RFC 5649 expansion. This may cause OpenSSL to write beyond allocated memory, corrupting heap metadata and triggering application abort.
Craft CMS: Unauthorized Deletion of Destination Folders During Forced Moves
Craft CMS is a content management system (CMS). Versions 5.0.0-RC1 and above, prior to 5.9.21 and versions 4.0.0-RC1 and above prior to 4.17.14 contain an authorization issue where a forced folder move can delete a conflicting destination folder without destination delete permission. Function craft\\controllers\\AssetsController::actionMoveFolder() supports moving an asset folder into a destination parent folder. If a folder with the same name already exists at the destination, the action can be called with force=true to overwrite the destination. This issue has been resolved in versions 5.9.21 and 4.17.14.
Craft CMS: Mass assignment via id in newAttributes during bulk duplicate overwrites existing elements
Craft CMS is a content management system (CMS). Versions 5.7.0 and above, prior to 5.9.21 contain a mass-assignment flaw in the bulk-duplicate element action. An attacker who is only able to duplicate their own entires can submit an arbitrary id through the newAttributes request parameter. The duplication routine overrides its own id = null reset with that value and writes the attacker's attributes into the victim's existing entry row. ElementsController::beforeAction() pulls the request body into $this->_attributes and rejects requests that ship an id or canonicalId key at the top level, actionBulkDuplicate(), reads a separate newAttributes
Craft CMS: Authorization bypass in `entries/move-to-section` via missing target-section save check
Craft CMS is a content management system (CMS). In versions 5.0.0-RC1 and above prior to 5.9.21, the EntriesController::actionMoveToSection() endpoint gates the destination section only by viewEntries:$section->uid rather than requiring saveEntries permission (the source entry is separately checked via Entry::canMove()). As a result, a low-privileged authenticated control-panel user who can move an entry out of its current section can call moveEntryToSection() to rewrite the entry's sectionId and save it into a section where they have read access but no write access. This breaks the section-level authorization model, letting a user with limit
Craft CMS: Authorship spoofing in `entries/save-entry` via pre-check/post-mutation authorization gap
Craft CMS is a content management system (CMS). IN versions 5.0.0-RC1 and above prior to 5.9.21, theEntriesController::actionSaveEntry() performs entry-edit permission checks before request-controlled author changes are applied to the model, allowing for authorship spoofing. The subsequent author mutation path accepts attacker-supplied authors / author parameters and allows the change when the current user is one of the old authors. Because the controller does not re-run authorization after mutating the author list, a low-privileged user can reassign an entry’s authorship to another user without holding the dedicated peer-author-change permis
Craft CMS: Potential authenticated Remote Code Execution via referrer redirect
Craft CMS is a content management system (CMS). In versions 5.9.0 and above prior to 5.10.0, control panel users with the ability to edit entries can execute unsandboxed Twig code via the HTTP Referrer header, potentially leading to authenticated RCE. The issue happens when a user is saving entries. Strings for a signed redirect URL are being compiled as a Twig template via renderObjectTemplate(), and while a sandboxed alternative already exists (renderSandboxedObjectTemplate()), it is not used in this case. This signed URL can be specified by users, as it is reflected in the “Referer” HTTP request header, which is under attacker control. Thi
Craft CMS is a content management system (CMS). In versions starting from 4.0.0-RC1 and prior to 4.18.0, and 5.0.0-RC1 and above, prior to 5.10.0, the dataUrl() Twig function is included in Craft’s Twig sandbox allowlist, allowing any control panel user granted the utility:system-messages permission to embed a file-reading payload into system email templates. When those emails are sent, the server reads the target file and returns its contents as a base64-encoded data URL embedded in the email body. The .env file, which typically contains the database password, CRAFT_SECURITY_KEY, and third-party API keys, passes all of Craft’s existing dataU
