    HID: amd_sfh: Switch to device-managed dmam_alloc_coherent()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: amd_sfh: Switch to device-managed dmam_alloc_coherent() Using the device-managed version allows to simplify clean-up in probe() error path. Additionally, this device-managed ensures proper cleanup, which helps to resolve memory errors, page faults, btrfs going read-only, and btrfs disk corruption.

    net: phy: dp83869: fix memory corruption when enabling fiber

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: phy: dp83869: fix memory corruption when enabling fiber When configuring the fiber port, the DP83869 PHY driver incorrectly calls linkmode_set_bit() with a bit mask (1 << 10) rather than a bit number (10). This corrupts some other memory location -- in case of arm64 the priv pointer in the same structure. Since the advertising flags are updated from supported at the end of the function the incorrect line isn't needed at all and can be removed.

    net: explicitly clear the sk pointer, when pf->create fails

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: explicitly clear the sk pointer, when pf->create fails We have recently noticed the exact same KASAN splat as in commit 6cd4a78d962b ("net: do not leave a dangling sk pointer, when socket creation fails"). The problem is that commit did not fully address the problem, as some pf->create implementations do not use sk_common_release in their error paths. For example, we can use the same reproducer as in the above commit, but changing ping to arping. arping uses AF_PACKET socket and if packet_create fails, it will just sk_free the allocated sk object. While we could chas

    mptcp: handle consistently DSS corruption

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mptcp: handle consistently DSS corruption Bugged peer implementation can send corrupted DSS options, consistently hitting a few warning in the data path. Use DEBUG_NET assertions, to avoid the splat on some builds and handle consistently the error, dumping related MIBs and performing fallback and/or reset according to the subflow type.

    virtio_pmem: Check device status before requesting flush

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: virtio_pmem: Check device status before requesting flush If a pmem device is in a bad status, the driver side could wait for host ack forever in virtio_pmem_flush(), causing the system to hang. So add a status check in the beginning of virtio_pmem_flush() to return early if the device is not activated.

    secretmem: disable memfd_secret() if arch cannot set direct map

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: secretmem: disable memfd_secret() if arch cannot set direct map Return -ENOSYS from memfd_secret() syscall if !can_set_direct_map(). This is the case for example on some arm64 configurations, where marking 4k PTEs in the direct map not present can only be done if the direct map is set up at 4k granularity in the first place (as ARM's break-before-make semantics do not easily allow breaking apart large/gigantic pages). More precisely, on arm64 systems with !can_set_direct_map(), set_direct_map_invalid_noflush() is a no-op, however it returns success (0) instead of an error

    fbdev: sisfb: Fix strbuf array overflow

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: sisfb: Fix strbuf array overflow The values of the variables xres and yres are placed in strbuf. These variables are obtained from strbuf1. The strbuf1 array contains digit characters and a space if the array contains non-digit characters. Then, when executing sprintf(strbuf, "%ux%ux8", xres, yres); more than 16 bytes will be written to strbuf. It is suggested to increase the size of the strbuf array to 24. bpf: Make sure internal and UAPI bpf_redirect flags don't overlap

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Make sure internal and UAPI bpf_redirect flags don't overlap The bpf_redirect_info is shared between the SKB and XDP redirect paths, and the two paths use the same numeric flag values in the ri->flags field (specifically, BPF_F_BROADCAST == BPF_F_NEXTHOP). This means that if skb bpf_redirect_neigh() is used with a non-NULL params argument and, subsequently, an XDP redirect is performed using the same bpf_redirect_info struct, the XDP path will get confused and end up crashing, which syzbot managed to trigger. With the stack-allocated bpf_redirect_info, the structure i

    bpf: devmap: provide rxq after redirect

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: devmap: provide rxq after redirect rxq contains a pointer to the device from where the redirect happened. Currently, the BPF program that was executed after a redirect via BPF_MAP_TYPE_DEVMAP* does not have it set. This is particularly bad since accessing ingress_ifindex, e.g. SEC("xdp") int prog(struct xdp_md *pkt) { return bpf_redirect_map(&dev_redirect_map, 0, 0); } SEC("xdp/devmap") int prog_after_redirect(struct xdp_md *pkt) { bpf_printk("ifindex %i", pkt->ingress_ifindex); return XDP_PASS; } depends on access to rxq, so a NULL pointer

Since dolphin_fixups function is a hda_fixup function which is not supposed to return any errors, add simple check before dereference, ignore the fail. drm/msm: Avoid NULL dereference in msm_disp_state_print_regs()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/msm: Avoid NULL dereference in msm_disp_state_print_regs() If the allocation in msm_disp_state_dump_regs() failed then `block->state` can be NULL. The msm_disp_state_print_regs() function _does_ have code to try to handle it with: if (*reg) dump_addr = *reg; ...but since "dump_addr" is initialized to NULL the above is actually a noop. The code then goes on to dereference `dump_addr`. Make the function print "Registers not stored" when it sees a NULL to solve this. Since we're touching the code, fix msm_disp_state_print_regs() not to pointlessly take a double-po

SMB2_ioctl_init() allocates a small buffer (448 bytes) to hold the SMB2_IOCTL request in the first iov, and if the user passes an input buffer that is greater than 328 bytes, smb2_set_next_command() will end up writing off the end of @rqst->iov[0].iov_base as shown below: mount.cifs //srv/share /mnt -o ...,seal
