    erofs: add GFP_NOIO in the bio completion if needed

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: erofs: add GFP_NOIO in the bio completion if needed The bio completion path in the process context (e.g. dm-verity) will directly call into decompression rather than trigger another workqueue context for minimal scheduling latencies, which can then call vm_map_ram() with GFP_KERNEL. Due to insufficient memory, vm_map_ram() may generate memory swapping I/O, which can cause submit_bio_wait to deadlock in some scenarios. Trimmed down the call stack, as follows: f2fs_submit_read_io submit_bio //bio_list is initialized. mmc_blk_mq_recovery z_e

    mm/huge_memory: fix folio isn't locked in softleaf_to_folio()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/huge_memory: fix folio isn't locked in softleaf_to_folio() On arm64 server, we found folio that get from migration entry isn't locked in softleaf_to_folio(). This issue triggers when mTHP splitting and zap_nonpresent_ptes() races, and the root cause is lack of memory barrier in softleaf_to_folio(). The race is as follows: CPU0 CPU1 deferred_split_scan() zap_nonpresent_ptes() lock folio split_folio() unmap_folio() change ptes to migration entries __split_folio_to_order()

    scsi: ibmvfc: Fix OOB access in ibmvfc_discover_targets_done()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: ibmvfc: Fix OOB access in ibmvfc_discover_targets_done() A malicious or compromised VIO server can return a num_written value in the discover targets MAD response that exceeds max_targets. This value is stored directly in vhost->num_targets without validation, and is then used as the loop bound in ibmvfc_alloc_targets() to index into disc_buf[], which is only allocated for max_targets entries. Indices at or beyond max_targets access kernel memory outside the DMA-coherent allocation. The out-of-bounds data is subsequently embedded in Implicit Logout and PLOGI MADs tha

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: prevent immediate PASID reuse case PASID resue could cause interrupt issue when process immediately runs into hw state left by previous process exited with the same PASID, it's possible that page faults are still pending in the IH ring buffer when the process exits and frees up its PASID. To prevent the case, it uses idr cyclic allocator same as kernel pid's. (cherry picked from commit 8f1de51f49be692de137c8525106e0fce2d1912d)

    ext4: convert inline data to extents when truncate exceeds inline size

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: convert inline data to extents when truncate exceeds inline size Add a check in ext4_setattr() to convert files from inline data storage to extent-based storage when truncate() grows the file size beyond the inline capacity. This prevents the filesystem from entering an inconsistent state where the inline data flag is set but the file size exceeds what can be stored inline. Without this fix, the following sequence causes a kernel BUG_ON(): 1. Mount filesystem with inode that has inline flag set and small size 2. truncate(file, 50MB) - grows size but inline flag rema

    ext4: replace BUG_ON with proper error handling in ext4_read_inline_folio

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: replace BUG_ON with proper error handling in ext4_read_inline_folio Replace BUG_ON() with proper error handling when inline data size exceeds PAGE_SIZE. This prevents kernel panic and allows the system to continue running while properly reporting the filesystem corruption. The error is logged via ext4_error_inode(), the buffer head is released to prevent memory leak, and -EFSCORRUPTED is returned to indicate filesystem corruption.

    ext4: publish jinode after initialization

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: publish jinode after initialization ext4_inode_attach_jinode() publishes ei->jinode to concurrent users. It used to set ei->jinode before jbd2_journal_init_jbd_inode(), allowing a reader to observe a non-NULL jinode with i_vfs_inode still unset. The fast commit flush path can then pass this jinode to jbd2_wait_inode_data(), which dereferences i_vfs_inode->i_mapping and may crash. Below is the crash I observe: ``` BUG: unable to handle page fault for address: 000000010beb47f4 PGD 110e51067 P4D 110e51067 PUD 0 Oops: Oops: 0000 [#1] SMP NOPTI CPU: 1 UID: 0 PID: 4850 Co

    ext4: validate p_idx bounds in ext4_ext_correct_indexes

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: validate p_idx bounds in ext4_ext_correct_indexes ext4_ext_correct_indexes() walks up the extent tree correcting index entries when the first extent in a leaf is modified. Before accessing path[k].p_idx->ei_block, there is no validation that p_idx falls within the valid range of index entries for that level. If the on-disk extent header contains a corrupted or crafted eh_entries value, p_idx can point past the end of the allocated buffer, causing a slab-out-of-bounds read. Fix this by validating path[k].p_idx against EXT_LAST_INDEX() at both access sites: before the

    ext4: avoid infinite loops caused by residual data

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: avoid infinite loops caused by residual data On the mkdir/mknod path, when mapping logical blocks to physical blocks, if inserting a new extent into the extent tree fails (in this example, because the file system disabled the huge file feature when marking the inode as dirty), ext4_ext_map_blocks() only calls ext4_free_blocks() to reclaim the physical block without deleting the corresponding data in the extent tree. This causes subsequent mkdir operations to reference the previously reclaimed physical block number again, even though this physical block is already bein

    netfilter: nfnetlink_log: fix uninitialized padding leak in NFULA_PAYLOAD

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nfnetlink_log: fix uninitialized padding leak in NFULA_PAYLOAD __build_packet_message() manually constructs the NFULA_PAYLOAD netlink attribute using skb_put() and skb_copy_bits(), bypassing the standard nla_reserve()/nla_put() helpers. While nla_total_size(data_len) bytes are allocated (including NLA alignment padding), only data_len bytes of actual packet data are copied. The trailing nla_padlen(data_len) bytes (1-3 when data_len is not 4-byte aligned) are never initialized, leaking stale heap contents to userspace via the NFLOG netlink socket. Replace the man

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack_sip: fix use of uninitialized rtp_addr in process_sdp process_sdp() declares union nf_inet_addr rtp_addr on the stack and passes it to the nf_nat_sip sdp_session hook after walking the SDP media descriptions. However rtp_addr is only initialized inside the media loop when a recognized media type with a non-zero port is found. If the SDP body contains no m= lines, only inactive media sections (m=audio 0 ...) or only unrecognized media types, rtp_addr is never assigned. Despite that, the function still calls hooks->sdp_session() with &rtp_addr, causin

    rds: ib: reject FRMR registration before IB connection is established

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rds: ib: reject FRMR registration before IB connection is established rds_ib_get_mr() extracts the rds_ib_connection from conn->c_transport_data and passes it to rds_ib_reg_frmr() for FRWR memory registration. On a fresh outgoing connection, ic is allocated in rds_ib_conn_alloc() with i_cm_id = NULL because the connection worker has not yet called rds_ib_conn_path_connect() to create the rdma_cm_id. When sendmsg() with RDS_CMSG_RDMA_MAP is called on such a connection, the sendmsg path parses the control message before any connection establishment, allowing rds_ib_post_reg_f

    netfilter: x_tables: restrict xt_check_match/xt_check_target extensions for NFPROTO_ARP

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: x_tables: restrict xt_check_match/xt_check_target extensions for NFPROTO_ARP Weiming Shi says: xt_match and xt_target structs registered with NFPROTO_UNSPEC can be loaded by any protocol family through nft_compat. When such a match/target sets .hooks to restrict which hooks it may run on, the bitmask uses NF_INET_* constants. This is only correct for families whose hook layout matches NF_INET_*: IPv4, IPv6, INET, and bridge all share the same five hooks (PRE_ROUTING ... POST_ROUTING). ARP only has three hooks (IN=0, OUT=1, FORWARD=2) with different semantics. B

    net/sched: sch_hfsc: fix divide-by-zero in rtsc_min()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: sch_hfsc: fix divide-by-zero in rtsc_min() m2sm() converts a u32 slope to a u64 scaled value. For large inputs (e.g. m1=4000000000), the result can reach 2^32. rtsc_min() stores the difference of two such u64 values in a u32 variable `dsm` and uses it as a divisor. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: cls_flow: fix NULL pointer dereference on shared blocks flow_change() calls tcf_block_q() and dereferences q->handle to derive a default baseclass. Shared blocks leave block->q NULL, causing a NULL deref when a flow filter without a fully qualified baseclass is created on a shared block. net/sched: cls_fw: fix NULL pointer dereference on shared blocks

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: cls_fw: fix NULL pointer dereference on shared blocks The old-method path in fw_classify() calls tcf_block_q() and dereferences q->handle. Shared blocks leave block->q NULL, causing a NULL deref when an empty cls_fw filter is attached to a shared block and a packet with a nonzero major skb mark is classified. Reject the configuration in fw_change() when the old method (no TCA_OPTIONS) is used on a shared block, since fw_classify()'s old-method path needs block->q which is NULL for shared blocks. The core issue is a mismatch between: - a 16-bit length accumulator (`struct ipv6_txoptions::opt_flen`, type `__u16`) and - a pointer to the *last* provided destination-options header (`opt->dst1opt`) when multiple `IPV6_DSTOPTS` control messages (cmsgs) are provided. - `include/net/ipv6.h`: - `struct ipv6_txoptions::opt_flen` i
