    jbd2: remove wrong sb->s_sequence check

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: jbd2: remove wrong sb->s_sequence check Journal emptiness is not determined by sb->s_sequence == 0 but rather by sb->s_start == 0 (which is set a few lines above). Furthermore 0 is a valid transaction ID so the check can spuriously trigger. Remove the invalid WARN_ON.

    PCI: Fix reference leak in pci_register_host_bridge()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: Fix reference leak in pci_register_host_bridge() If device_register() fails, call put_device() to give up the reference to avoid a memory leak, per the comment at device_register(). Found by code review. [bhelgaas: squash Dan Carpenter's double free fix from https://lore.kernel.org/r/[email protected]]

    net/niu: Niu requires MSIX ENTRY_DATA fields touch before entry reads

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/niu: Niu requires MSIX ENTRY_DATA fields touch before entry reads Fix niu_try_msix() to not cause a fatal trap on sparc systems. Set PCI_DEV_FLAGS_MSIX_TOUCH_ENTRY_DATA_FIRST on the struct pci_dev to work around a bug in the hardware or firmware. For each vector entry in the msix table, niu chips will cause a fatal trap if any registers in that entry are read before that entries' ENTRY_DATA register is written to. Testing indicates writes to other registers are not sufficient to prevent the fatal trap, however the value does not appear to matter. This only needs to ha

    irqchip/gic-v2m: Prevent use after free of gicv2m_get_fwnode()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: irqchip/gic-v2m: Prevent use after free of gicv2m_get_fwnode() With ACPI in place, gicv2m_get_fwnode() is registered with the pci subsystem as pci_msi_get_fwnode_cb(), which may get invoked at runtime during a PCI host bridge probe. But, the call back is wrongly marked as __init, causing it to be freed, while being registered with the PCI subsystem and could trigger: Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address ffff8000816c0400 gicv2m_get_fwnode+0x0/0x58 (P) pci_set_bus_msi_domain+0x74/0x88 pci_register_host_bridge+0x194/0x548 This is easily reproducib

    mcb: fix a double free bug in chameleon_parse_gdd()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mcb: fix a double free bug in chameleon_parse_gdd() In chameleon_parse_gdd(), if mcb_device_register() fails, 'mdev' would be released in mcb_device_register() via put_device(). Thus, goto 'err' label and free 'mdev' again causes a double free. Just return if mcb_device_register() fails.

    usb: dwc3: gadget: check that event count does not exceed event buffer length

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: dwc3: gadget: check that event count does not exceed event buffer length The event count is read from register DWC3_GEVNTCOUNT. There is a check for the count being zero, but not for exceeding the event buffer length. Check that event count does not exceed event buffer length, avoiding an out-of-bounds access when memcpy'ing the event. driver core: fix potential NULL pointer dereference in dev_uevent()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: driver core: fix potential NULL pointer dereference in dev_uevent() If userspace reads "uevent" device attribute at the same time as another threads unbinds the device from its driver, change to dev->driver from a valid pointer to NULL may result in crash. Fix this by using READ_ONCE() when fetching the pointer, and take bus' drivers klist lock to make sure driver instance will not disappear while we access it. Use WRITE_ONCE() when setting the driver pointer to ensure there is no tearing.

    scsi: target: Fix WRITE_SAME No Data Buffer crash

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: target: Fix WRITE_SAME No Data Buffer crash In newer version of the SBC specs, we have a NDOB bit that indicates there is no data buffer that gets written out. If this bit is set using commands like "sg_write_same --ndob" we will crash in target_core_iblock/file's execute_write_same handlers when we go to access the se_cmd->t_data_sg because its NULL. This patch adds a check for the NDOB bit in the common WRITE SAME code because we don't support it. And, it adds a check for zero SG elements in each handler in case the initiator tries to send a normal WRITE SAME with
