Bluetooth: L2CAP: Validate L2CAP_INFO_RSP payload length before access

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: Validate L2CAP_INFO_RSP payload length before access l2cap_information_rsp() checks that cmd_len covers the fixed l2cap_info_rsp header (type + result, 4 bytes) but then reads rsp->data without verifying that the payload is present: - L2CAP_IT_FEAT_MASK calls get_unaligned_le32(rsp->data), which reads 4 bytes past the header (needs cmd_len >= 8). - L2CAP_IT_FIXED_CHAN reads rsp->data[0], 1 byte past the header (needs cmd_len >= 5). A truncated L2CAP_INFO_RSP with result == L2CAP_IR_SUCCESS triggers an out-of-bounds read of adjacent skb data. Gu

smb: client: fix krb5 mount with username option

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fix krb5 mount with username option Customer reported that some of their krb5 mounts were failing against a single server as the client was trying to mount the shares with wrong credentials. It turned out the client was reusing SMB session from first mount to try mounting the other shares, even though a different username= option had been specified to the other mounts. By using username mount option along with sec=krb5 to search for principals from keytab is supported by cifs.upcall(8) since cifs-utils-4.8. So fix this by matching username mount option in ma

serial: core: fix infinite loop in handle_tx() for PORT_UNKNOWN

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: core: fix infinite loop in handle_tx() for PORT_UNKNOWN uart_write_room() and uart_write() behave inconsistently when xmit_buf is NULL (which happens for PORT_UNKNOWN ports that were never properly initialized): - uart_write_room() returns kfifo_avail() which can be > 0 - uart_write() checks xmit_buf and returns 0 if NULL This inconsistency causes an infinite loop in drivers that rely on tty_write_room() to determine if they can write: while (tty_write_room(tty) > 0) { written = tty->ops->write(...); // written is always 0, loop never exits } For

drm/amdgpu: Limit BO list entry count to prevent resource exhaustion

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: Limit BO list entry count to prevent resource exhaustion Userspace can pass an arbitrary number of BO list entries via the bo_number field. Although the previous multiplication overflow check prevents out-of-bounds allocation, a large number of entries could still cause excessive memory allocation (up to potentially gigabytes) and unnecessarily long list processing times. Introduce a hard limit of 128k entries per BO list, which is more than sufficient for any realistic use case (e.g., a single list containing all buffers in a large scene). This prevents memory

btrfs: log new dentries when logging parent dir of a conflicting inode

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: log new dentries when logging parent dir of a conflicting inode If we log the parent directory of a conflicting inode, we are not logging the new dentries of the directory, so when we finish we have the parent directory's inode marked as logged but we did not log its new dentries. As a consequence if the parent directory is explicitly fsynced later and it does not have any new changes since we logged it, the fsync is a no-op and after a power failure the new dentries are missing. Example scenario: $ mkdir foo $ sync $rmdir foo $ mkdir dir1 $ mkdir dir2

net/rose: fix NULL pointer dereference in rose_transmit_link on reconnect

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/rose: fix NULL pointer dereference in rose_transmit_link on reconnect syzkaller reported a bug [1], and the reproducer is available at [2]. ROSE sockets use four sk->sk_state values: TCP_CLOSE, TCP_LISTEN, TCP_SYN_SENT, and TCP_ESTABLISHED. rose_connect() already rejects calls for TCP_ESTABLISHED (-EISCONN) and TCP_CLOSE with SS_CONNECTING (-ECONNREFUSED), but lacks a check for TCP_SYN_SENT. When rose_connect() is called a second time while the first connection attempt is still in progress (TCP_SYN_SENT), it overwrites rose->neighbour via rose_get_neigh(). If that ret

netfilter: ctnetlink: fix use-after-free in ctnetlink_dump_exp_ct()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: ctnetlink: fix use-after-free in ctnetlink_dump_exp_ct() ctnetlink_dump_exp_ct() stores a conntrack pointer in cb->data for the netlink dump callback ctnetlink_exp_ct_dump_table(), but drops the conntrack reference immediately after netlink_dump_start(). When the dump spans multiple rounds, the second recvmsg() triggers the dump callback which dereferences the now-freed conntrack via nfct_help(ct), leading to a use-after-free on ct->ext. The bug is that the netlink_dump_control has no .start or .done callbacks to manage the conntrack reference across dump round

    netfilter: nf_conntrack_sip: fix Content-Length u32 truncation in sip_help_tcp()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack_sip: fix Content-Length u32 truncation in sip_help_tcp() sip_help_tcp() parses the SIP Content-Length header with simple_strtoul(), which returns unsigned long, but stores the result in unsigned int clen. On 64-bit systems, values exceeding UINT_MAX are silently truncated before computing the SIP message boundary. For example, Content-Length 4294967328 (2^32 + 32) is truncated to 32, causing the parser to miscalculate where the current message ends. The loop then treats trailing data in the TCP segment as a second SIP message and processes it thro

netfilter: nf_conntrack_h323: fix OOB read in decode_int() CONS case

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack_h323: fix OOB read in decode_int() CONS case In decode_int(), the CONS case calls get_bits(bs, 2) to read a length value, then calls get_uint(bs, len) without checking that len bytes remain in the buffer. The existing boundary check only validates the 2 bits for get_bits(), not the subsequent 1-4 bytes that get_uint() reads. This allows a malformed H.323/RAS packet to cause a 1-4 byte slab-out-of-bounds read. Add a boundary check for len bytes after get_bits() and before get_uint().

netfilter: nf_conntrack_h323: check for zero length in DecodeQ931()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack_h323: check for zero length in DecodeQ931() In DecodeQ931(), the UserUserIE code path reads a 16-bit length from the packet, then decrements it by 1 to skip the protocol discriminator byte before passing it to DecodeH323_UserInformation(). If the encoded length is 0, the decrement wraps to -1, which is then passed as a large value to the decoder, leading to an out-of-bounds read. Add a check to ensure len is positive after the decrement.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: mana: fix use-after-free in mana_hwc_destroy_channel() by reordering teardown A potential race condition exists in mana_hwc_destroy_channel() where hwc->caller_ctx is freed before the HWC's Completion Queue (CQ) and Event Queue (EQ) are destroyed. This allows an in-flight CQ interrupt handler to dereference freed memory, leading to a use-after-free or NULL pointer dereference in mana_hwc_handle_resp(). mana_smc_teardown_hwc() signals the hardware to stop but does not synchronize against IRQ handlers already executing on other CPUs. net: usb: cdc_ncm: add ndpoffset to NDP16 nframes bounds check

The DPE array size is validated against the total skb length without accounting for ndpoffset, allowing out-of-bounds reads when the NDP32 is placed near the end of the NTB. Add ndpoffset to the nframes bounds check and use struct_size_t() to express the NDP-plus-DPE-array size more clearly. Compile-tested only.
