cpufreq: davinci: Fix clk use after free

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cpufreq: davinci: Fix clk use after free The remove function first frees the clks and only then calls cpufreq_unregister_driver(). If one of the cpufreq callbacks is called just before cpufreq_unregister_driver() is run, the freed clks might be used.

wifi: cfg80211: reject auth/assoc to AP with our address

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: cfg80211: reject auth/assoc to AP with our address If the AP uses our own address as its MLD address or BSSID, then clearly something's wrong. Reject such connections so we don't try and fail later.

RDMA/rxe: Fix incomplete state save in rxe_requester

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/rxe: Fix incomplete state save in rxe_requester If a send packet is dropped by the IP layer in rxe_requester() the call to rxe_xmit_packet() can fail with err == -EAGAIN. To recover, the state of the wqe is restored to the state before the packet was sent so it can be resent. However, the routines that save and restore the state miss a significnt part of the variable state in the wqe, the dma struct which is used to process through the sge table. And, the state is not saved before the packet is built which modifies the dma struct. Under heavy stress testing with many

    xen/gntdev: Accommodate VMA splitting

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xen/gntdev: Accommodate VMA splitting Prior to this commit, the gntdev driver code did not handle the following scenario correctly with paravirtualized (PV) Xen domains: * User process sets up a gntdev mapping composed of two grant mappings (i.e., two pages shared by another Xen domain). * User process munmap()s one of the pages. * User process munmap()s the remaining page. * User process exits. In the scenario above, the user process would cause the kernel to log the following messages in dmesg for the first munmap(), and the second munmap() call would result in simila

This will result in a kernel panic with reason: BUG: unable to handle kernel paging request at ADDRESS where "ADDRESS" is just past the end of the protection override dump buffer. cnic: Fix use-after-free bugs in cnic_delete_task

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cnic: Fix use-after-free bugs in cnic_delete_task The original code uses cancel_delayed_work() in cnic_cm_stop_bnx2x_hw(), which does not guarantee that the delayed work item 'delete_task' has fully completed if it was already running. Additionally, the delayed work item is cyclic, the flush_workqueue() in cnic_cm_stop_bnx2x_hw() only blocks and waits for work items that were already queued to the workqueue prior to its invocation. Any work items submitted after flush_workqueue() is called are not included in the set of tasks that the flush operation awaits. This means that

net: rfkill: gpio: Fix crash due to dereferencering uninitialized pointer

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: rfkill: gpio: Fix crash due to dereferencering uninitialized pointer Since commit 7d5e9737efda ("net: rfkill: gpio: get the name and type from device property") rfkill_find_type() gets called with the possibly uninitialized "const char *type_name;" local variable. On x86 systems when rfkill-gpio binds to a "BCM4752" or "LNV4752" acpi_device, the rfkill->type is set based on the ACPI acpi_device_id: rfkill->type = (unsigned)id->driver_data; and there is no "type" property so device_property_read_string() will fail and leave type_name uninitialized, leading to

crypto: af_alg - Set merge to zero early in af_alg_sendmsg

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: af_alg - Set merge to zero early in af_alg_sendmsg If an error causes af_alg_sendmsg to abort, ctx->merge may contain a garbage value from the previous loop. This may then trigger a crash on the next entry into af_alg_sendmsg when it attempts to do a merge that can't be done. Fix this by setting ctx->merge to zero near the start of the loop.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tipc: do not update mtu if msg_max is too small in mtu negotiation When doing link mtu negotiation, a malicious peer may send Activate msg with a very small mtu, e.g. 4 in Shuang's testing, without checking for the minimum mtu, l->mtu will be set to 4 in tipc_link_proto_rcv(), then n->links[bearer_id].mtu is set to 4294967228, which is a overflow of '4 - INT_H_SIZE - EMSG_OVERHEAD' in tipc_link_mss().
