    wifi: wilc1000: fix potential memory leak in wilc_mac_xmit()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: wilc1000: fix potential memory leak in wilc_mac_xmit() The wilc_mac_xmit() returns NETDEV_TX_OK without freeing skb, add dev_kfree_skb() to fix it. Compile tested only.

    wifi: ath9k: hif_usb: Fix use-after-free in ath9k_hif_usb_reg_in_cb()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath9k: hif_usb: Fix use-after-free in ath9k_hif_usb_reg_in_cb() It is possible that skb is freed in ath9k_htc_rx_msg(), then usb_submit_urb() fails and we try to free skb again. It causes use-after-free bug. Moreover, if alloc_skb() fails, urb->context becomes NULL but rx_buf is not freed and there can be a memory leak. The patch removes unnecessary nskb and makes skb processing more clear: it is supposed that ath9k_htc_rx_msg() either frees old skb or passes its managing to another callback function. Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with Syzkal

    drm/i915: fix race condition UAF in i915_perf_add_config_ioctl

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/i915: fix race condition UAF in i915_perf_add_config_ioctl Userspace can guess the id value and try to race oa_config object creation with config remove, resulting in a use-after-free if we dereference the object after unlocking the metrics_lock. For that reason, unlocking the metrics_lock must be done after we are done dereferencing the object. tty: fix out-of-bounds access in tty_driver_lookup_tty()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tty: fix out-of-bounds access in tty_driver_lookup_tty() When specifying an invalid console= device like console=tty3270, tty_driver_lookup_tty() returns the tty struct without checking whether index is a valid number. To reproduce: qemu-system-x86_64 -enable-kvm -nographic -serial mon:stdio \ -kernel ../linux-build-x86/arch/x86/boot/bzImage \ -append "console=ttyS0 console=tty3270" This crashes with: [ 0.770599] BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 00000000000000ef [ 0.771265] #PF: supervisor read access in kernel mode [ 0.771773] #PF: error_code(0x0

    btrfs: remove BUG_ON()'s in add_new_free_space()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: remove BUG_ON()'s in add_new_free_space() At add_new_free_space() we have these BUG_ON()'s that are there to deal with any failure to add free space to the in memory free space cache. Such failures are mostly -ENOMEM that should be very rare. However there's no need to have these BUG_ON()'s, we can just return any error to the caller and all callers and their upper call chain are already dealing with errors. So just make add_new_free_space() return any errors, while removing the BUG_ON()'s, and returning the total amount of added free space to an optional u64 pointe

    media: v4l2-core: Fix a potential resource leak in v4l2_fwnode_parse_link()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: v4l2-core: Fix a potential resource leak in v4l2_fwnode_parse_link() If fwnode_graph_get_remote_endpoint() fails, 'fwnode' is known to be NULL, so fwnode_handle_put() is a no-op. Release the reference taken from a previous fwnode_graph_get_port_parent() call instead. Also handle fwnode_graph_get_port_parent() failures. In order to fix these issues, add an error handling path to the function and the needed gotos.

    RDMA/mlx4: Prevent shift wrapping in set_user_sq_size()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/mlx4: Prevent shift wrapping in set_user_sq_size() The ucmd->log_sq_bb_count variable is controlled by the user so this shift can wrap. Fix it by using check_shl_overflow() in the same way that it was done in commit 515f60004ed9 ("RDMA/hns: Prevent undefined behavior in hns_roce_set_user_sq_size()").

    ipv6: ensure sane device mtu in tunnels

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: ensure sane device mtu in tunnels Another syzbot report [1] with no reproducer hints at a bug in ip6_gre tunnel (dev:ip6gretap0) Since ipv6 mcast code makes sure to read dev->mtu once and applies a sanity check on it (see commit b9b312a7a451 "ipv6: mcast: better catch silly mtu values"), a remaining possibility is that a layer is able to set dev->mtu to an underflowed value (high order bit set). This could happen indeed in ip6gre_tnl_link_config_route(), ip6_tnl_link_config() and ipip6_tunnel_bind_dev() Make sure to sanitize mtu value in a local variable before it

    ext2: Add sanity checks for group and filesystem size

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext2: Add sanity checks for group and filesystem size Add sanity check that filesystem size does not exceed the underlying device size and that group size is big enough so that metadata can fit into it. This avoid trying to mount some crafted filesystems with extremely large group counts.
