ceph: fix potential use-after-free bug when trimming caps

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ceph: fix potential use-after-free bug when trimming caps When trimming the caps and just after the 'session->s_cap_lock' is released in ceph_iterate_session_caps() the cap maybe removed by another thread, and when using the stale cap memory in the callbacks it will trigger use-after-free crash. We need to check the existence of the cap just after the 'ci->i_ceph_lock' being acquired. And do nothing if it's already removed.

wifi: ath9k: avoid uninit memory read in ath9k_htc_rx_msg()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath9k: avoid uninit memory read in ath9k_htc_rx_msg() syzbot is reporting uninit value at ath9k_htc_rx_msg() [1], for ioctl(USB_RAW_IOCTL_EP_WRITE) can call ath9k_hif_usb_rx_stream() with pkt_len = 0 but ath9k_hif_usb_rx_stream() uses __dev_alloc_skb(pkt_len + 32, GFP_ATOMIC) based on an assumption that pkt_len is valid. As a result, ath9k_hif_usb_rx_stream() allocates skb with uninitialized memory and ath9k_htc_rx_msg() is reading from uninitialized memory. Since bytes accessed by ath9k_htc_rx_msg() is not known until ath9k_htc_rx_msg() is called, it would be diffic

HSI: ssi_protocol: fix potential resource leak in ssip_pn_open()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HSI: ssi_protocol: fix potential resource leak in ssip_pn_open() ssip_pn_open() claims the HSI client's port with hsi_claim_port(). When hsi_register_port_event() gets some error and returns a negetive value, the HSI client's port should be released with hsi_release_port(). Fix it by calling hsi_release_port() when hsi_register_port_event() fails.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: soc: qcom: smsm: Fix refcount leak bugs in qcom_smsm_probe() There are two refcount leak bugs in qcom_smsm_probe(): (1) The 'local_node' is escaped out from for_each_child_of_node() as the break of iteration, we should call of_node_put() for it in error path or when it is not used anymore. (2) The 'node' is escaped out from for_each_available_child_of_node() as the 'goto', we should call of_node_put() for it in goto target.

smack: fix bug: unprivileged task can create labels

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smack: fix bug: unprivileged task can create labels If an unprivileged task is allowed to relabel itself (/smack/relabel-self is not empty), it can freely create new labels by writing their names into own /proc/PID/attr/smack/current This occurs because do_setattr() imports the provided label in advance, before checking "relabel-self" list. This change ensures that the "relabel-self" list is checked before importing the label.

    crypto: asymmetric_keys - prevent overflow in asymmetric_key_generate_id

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: asymmetric_keys - prevent overflow in asymmetric_key_generate_id Use check_add_overflow() to guard against potential integer overflows when adding the binary blob lengths and the size of an asymmetric_key_id structure and return ERR_PTR(-EOVERFLOW) accordingly. This prevents a possible buffer overflow when copying data from potentially malicious X.509 certificate fields that can be arbitrarily large, such as ASN.1 INTEGER serial numbers, issuer names, etc.

RDMA/rxe: Fix null deref on srq->rq.queue after resize failure

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/rxe: Fix null deref on srq->rq.queue after resize failure A NULL pointer dereference can occur in rxe_srq_chk_attr() when ibv_modify_srq() is invoked twice in succession under certain error conditions. The first call may fail in rxe_queue_resize(), which leads rxe_srq_from_attr() to set srq->rq.queue = NULL. The second call then triggers a crash (null deref) when accessing srq->rq.queue->buf->index_mask. wifi: rtl818x: rtl8187: Fix potential buffer underflow in rtl8187_rx_cb()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: rtl818x: rtl8187: Fix potential buffer underflow in rtl8187_rx_cb() The rtl8187_rx_cb() calculates the rx descriptor header address by subtracting its size from the skb tail pointer. However, it does not validate if the received packet (skb->len from urb->actual_length) is large enough to contain this header. If a truncated packet is received, this will lead to a buffer underflow, reading memory before the start of the skb data area, and causing a kernel panic. Add length checks for both rtl8187 and rtl8187b descriptor headers before attempting to access them, dropp

Do not attempt to use bitfields to synchronize parallel algorithms. (*) Even in cases where bitfields are protected by locks, all fields in a given bitfield must be protected by one lock. Concurrent registration, unregistration and lookups can race, leading to: 1 use-after-free if an alias entry is removed while being read, 2 duplicate entries when two threads register the same alias, 3 inconsistent alias mappings observed by consumers. can: gs_usb: gs_usb_receive_bulk_callback(): check actual_length before accessing header

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: gs_usb: gs_usb_receive_bulk_callback(): check actual_length before accessing header The driver expects to receive a struct gs_host_frame in gs_usb_receive_bulk_callback(). Use struct_group to describe the header of the struct gs_host_frame and check that we have at least received the header before accessing any members of it. To resubmit the URB, do not dereference the pointer chain "dev->parent->hf_size_rx" but use "parent->hf_size_rx" instead. Since "urb->context" contains "parent", it is always defined, while "dev" is not defined if the URB it too short.

The length of the data after the header depends on the gs_host_frame hf::flags and the active device features (e.g. time stamping). Introduce a new function gs_usb_get_minimum_length() and check that we have at least received the required amount of data before accessing it. Only copy the data to that skb that has actually been received. [mkl: rename gs_usb_get_minimum_length() -> +gs_usb_get_minimum_rx_l
