    irqchip/gic-v3: Fix GICR_CTLR.RWP polling

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: irqchip/gic-v3: Fix GICR_CTLR.RWP polling It turns out that our polling of RWP is totally wrong when checking for it in the redistributors, as we test the *distributor* bit index, whereas it is a different bit number in the RDs... Oopsie boo. This is embarassing. Not only because it is wrong, but also because it took *8 years* to notice the blunder... Just fix the damn thing.

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ata: sata_dwc_460ex: Fix crash due to OOB write the driver uses libata's "tag" values from in various arrays. Since the mentioned patch bumped the ATA_TAG_INTERNAL to 32, the value of the SATA_DWC_QCMD_MAX needs to account for that. Otherwise ATA_TAG_INTERNAL usage cause similar crashes like this as reported by Tice Rex on the OpenWrt Forum and reproduced (with symbols) here: | BUG: Kernel NULL pointer dereference at 0x00000000 | Faulting instruction address: 0xc03ed4b8 | Oops: Kernel access of bad area, sig: 11 [#1] | BE PAGE_SIZE=4K PowerPC 44x Platform | CPU: 0 PID: 36

    powerpc: Fix virt_addr_valid() for 64-bit Book3E & 32-bit

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc: Fix virt_addr_valid() for 64-bit Book3E & 32-bit mpe: On 64-bit Book3E vmalloc space starts at 0x8000000000000000. Because of the way __pa() works we have: __pa(0x8000000000000000) == 0, and therefore virt_to_pfn(0x8000000000000000) == 0, and therefore virt_addr_valid(0x8000000000000000) == true Which is wrong, virt_addr_valid() should be false for vmalloc space. In fact all vmalloc addresses that alias with a valid PFN will return true from virt_addr_valid(). That can cause bugs with hardened usercopy as described below by Kefeng Wang: When running etht

    veth: Ensure eth header is in skb's linear part

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: veth: Ensure eth header is in skb's linear part After feeding a decapsulated packet to a veth device with act_mirred, skb_headlen() may be 0. But veth_xmit() calls __dev_forward_skb(), which expects at least ETH_HLEN byte of linear data (as __dev_forward_skb2() calls eth_type_trans(), which pulls ETH_HLEN bytes unconditionally). Use pskb_may_pull() to ensure veth_xmit() respects this constraint. kernel BUG at include/linux/skbuff.h:2328! net: ethernet: stmmac: fix altr_tse_pcs function when using a fixed-link

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ethernet: stmmac: fix altr_tse_pcs function when using a fixed-link When using a fixed-link, the altr_tse_pcs driver crashes due to null-pointer dereference as no phy_device is provided to tse_pcs_fix_mac_speed function. Fix this by adding a check for phy_dev before calling the tse_pcs_fix_mac_speed() function. Also clean up the tse_pcs_fix_mac_speed function a bit. There is no need to check for splitter_base and sgmii_adapter_base because the driver will fail if these 2 variables are not derived from the device tree.

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: nci: add flush_workqueue to prevent uaf Our detector found a concurrent use-after-free bug when detaching an NCI device. The main reason for this bug is the unexpected scheduling between the used delayed mechanism (timer and workqueue). Therefore, it is better to check the return value of kmalloc_array() to avoid this confusion.

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: target: tcmu: Fix possible page UAF tcmu_try_get_data_page() looks up pages under cmdr_lock, but it does not take refcount properly and just returns page pointer. When tcmu_try_get_data_page() returns, the returned page may have been freed by tcmu_blocks_release(). We need to get_page() under cmdr_lock to avoid concurrent tcmu_blocks_release().

    dm integrity: fix memory corruption when tag_size is less than digest size

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm integrity: fix memory corruption when tag_size is less than digest size It is possible to set up dm-integrity in such a way that the "tag_size" parameter is less than the actual digest size. In this situation, a part of the digest beyond tag_size is ignored. In this case, dm-integrity would write beyond the end of the ic->recalc_tags array and corrupt memory. The corruption happened in integrity_recalc->integrity_sector_checksum->crypto_shash_final. Fix this corruption by increasing the tags array so that it has enough padding at the end to accomodate the loop in integ

    soc: qcom: rpmpd: Check for null return of devm_kcalloc

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: soc: qcom: rpmpd: Check for null return of devm_kcalloc Because of the possible failure of the allocation, data->domains might be NULL pointer and will cause the dereference of the NULL pointer later. Therefore, it might be better to check it and directly return -ENOMEM without releasing data manually if fails, because the comment of the devm_kmalloc() says "Memory allocated with this function is automatically freed on driver detach.".

    udmabuf: validate ubuf->pagecount

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udmabuf: validate ubuf->pagecount Syzbot has reported GPF in sg_alloc_append_table_from_pages(). The problem was in ubuf->pages == ZERO_PTR. ubuf->pagecount is calculated from arguments passed from user-space. If user creates udmabuf with list.size == 0 then ubuf->pagecount will be also equal to zero; it causes kmalloc_array() to return ZERO_PTR. Fix it by validating ubuf->pagecount before passing it to kmalloc_array().
