  1. CVE-2019-9213

    Mittel · CVSS 5.5EPSS 5,67%Öffentlicher ExploitKorrektur verfügbar

    CVE-2019-9213

In the Linux kernel before 4.20.14, expand_downwards in mm/mmap.c lacks a check for the mmap minimum address, which makes it easier for attackers to exploit kernel NULL pointer dereferences on non-SMAP platforms. This is related to a capability check for the wrong task.

  2. CVE-2018-20784

    Kritisch · CVSS 9.8EPSS 4,17%Korrektur verfügbar

    CVE-2018-20784

In the Linux kernel before 4.20.2, kernel/sched/fair.c mishandles leaf cfs_rq's, which allows attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop in update_blocked_averages) or possibly have unspecified other impact by inducing a high load.

  3. CVE-2019-3819

    Mittel · CVSS 4.2EPSS 0,46%Korrektur verfügbar

    CVE-2019-3819

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel in the function hid_debug_events_read() in drivers/hid/hid-debug.c file which may enter an infinite loop with certain parameters passed from a userspace. A local privileged user ("root") can cause a system lock up and a denial of service. Versions from v4.18 and newer are vulnerable.

  4. CVE-2019-6133

    Mittel · CVSS 6.7EPSS 0,45%Korrektur verfügbar

    CVE-2019-6133

In PolicyKit (aka polkit) 0.115, the "start time" protection mechanism can be bypassed because fork() is not atomic, and therefore authorization decisions are improperly cached. This is related to lack of uid checking in polkitbackend/polkitbackendinteractiveauthority.c.

  5. CVE-2019-5489

    Mittel · CVSS 5.5EPSS 0,77%Korrektur verfügbar

    CVE-2019-5489

The mincore() implementation in mm/mincore.c in the Linux kernel through 4.19.13 allowed local attackers to observe page cache access patterns of other processes on the same system, potentially allowing sniffing of secret information. (Fixing this affects the output of the fincore program.) Limited remote exploitation may be possible, as demonstrated by latency differences in accessing public files from an Apache HTTP Server.

  6. CVE-2019-3701

    Mittel · CVSS 4.4EPSS 0,7%Korrektur verfügbar

    CVE-2019-3701

An issue was discovered in can_can_gw_rcv in net/can/gw.c in the Linux kernel through 4.19.13. The CAN frame modification rules allow bitwise logical operations that can be also applied to the can_dlc field. The privileged user "root" with CAP_NET_ADMIN can create a CAN frame modification rule that makes the data length code a higher value than the available CAN frame data size. In combination with a configured checksum calculation where the result is stored relatively to the end of the data (e.g. cgw_csum_xor_rel) the tail of the skb (e.g. frag_list pointer in skb_shared_info) can be rewritten which finally can cause a system crash. 7. CVE-2018-20511

    Mittel · CVSS 5.5EPSS 0,47%Korrektur verfügbar

    CVE-2018-20511

An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 4.18.11. The ipddp_ioctl function in drivers/net/appletalk/ipddp.c allows local users to obtain sensitive kernel address information by leveraging CAP_NET_ADMIN to read the ipddp_route dev and next fields via an SIOCFINDIPDDPRT ioctl call.

  8. CVE-2018-16884

    Mittel · CVSS 6.5EPSS 1,46%Korrektur verfügbar

    CVE-2018-16884

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's NFS41+ subsystem. NFS41+ shares mounted in different network namespaces at the same time can make bc_svc_process() use wrong back-channel IDs and cause a use-after-free vulnerability. Thus a malicious container user can cause a host kernel memory corruption and a system panic. Due to the nature of the flaw, privilege escalation cannot be fully ruled out.

  9. CVE-2018-9517

    Mittel · CVSS 6.7EPSS 0,44%Korrektur verfügbar

    CVE-2018-9517

In pppol2tp_connect, there is possible memory corruption due to a use after free. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Product: Android. Versions: Android kernel. Android ID: A-38159931.

    Mittel · CVSS 5.3EPSS 0,53%Korrektur verfügbar

    CVE-2018-16862

A security flaw was found in the Linux kernel in a way that the cleancache subsystem clears an inode after the final file truncation (removal). The new file created with the same inode may contain leftover pages from cleancache and the old file data instead of the new one.

In hid_debug_events_read of drivers/hid/hid-debug.c, there is a possible out of bounds write due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. CVE-2018-9422

In get_futex_key of futex.c, there is a use-after-free due to improper locking. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Product: Android Versions: Android kernel Android ID: A-74250718 References: Upstream kernel.

  13. CVE-2018-18281

    Hoch · CVSS 7.8EPSS 1,1%Korrektur verfügbar

    CVE-2018-18281

Since Linux kernel version 3.2, the mremap() syscall performs TLB flushes after dropping pagetable locks. If a syscall such as ftruncate() removes entries from the pagetables of a task that is in the middle of mremap(), a stale TLB entry can remain for a short time that permits access to a physical page after it has been released back to the page allocator and reused. This is fixed in the following kernel versions: 4.9.135, 4.14.78, 4.18.16, 4.19.

  14. CVE-2018-10853

    Hoch · CVSS 7EPSS 0,47%Korrektur verfügbar

    CVE-2018-10853

A flaw was found in the way Linux kernel KVM hypervisor before 4.18 emulated instructions such as sgdt/sidt/fxsave/fxrstor. It did not check current privilege(CPL) level while emulating unprivileged instructions. An unprivileged guest user/process could use this flaw to potentially escalate privileges inside guest.

    Hoch · CVSS 8EPSS 0,81%Korrektur verfügbar

Bluetooth implementations may not sufficiently validate elliptic curve parameters during Diffie-Hellman key exchange

Bluetooth firmware or operating system software drivers in macOS versions before 10.13, High Sierra and iOS versions before 11.4, and Android versions before the 2018-06-05 patch may not sufficiently validate elliptic curve parameters used to generate public keys during a Diffie-Hellman key exchange, which may allow a remote attacker to obtain the encryption key used by the device.
