media: anysee: fix null-ptr-deref in anysee_master_xfer

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: anysee: fix null-ptr-deref in anysee_master_xfer In anysee_master_xfer, msg is controlled by user. When msg[i].buf is null and msg[i].len is zero, former checks on msg[i].buf would be passed. Malicious data finally reach anysee_master_xfer. If accessing msg[i].buf[0] without sanity check, null ptr deref would happen. We add check on msg[i].len to prevent crash. Similar commit: commit 0ed554fd769a ("media: dvb-usb: az6027: fix null-ptr-deref in az6027_i2c_xfer()") [hverkuil: add spaces around +]

drm/client: Fix memory leak in drm_client_target_cloned

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/client: Fix memory leak in drm_client_target_cloned dmt_mode is allocated and never freed in this function. It was found with the ast driver, but most drivers using generic fbdev setup are probably affected. This fixes the following kmemleak report: backtrace: [<00000000b391296d>] drm_mode_duplicate+0x45/0x220 [drm] [<00000000e45bb5b3>] drm_client_target_cloned.constprop.0+0x27b/0x480 [drm] [<00000000ed2d3a37>] drm_client_modeset_probe+0x6bd/0xf50 [drm] [<0000000010e5cc9d>] __drm_fb_helper_initial_config_and_unlock+0xb4/0x2c0 [drm_kms_helper] [<00

ALSA: firewire-digi00x: prevent potential use after free

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: firewire-digi00x: prevent potential use after free This code was supposed to return an error code if init_stream() failed, but it instead freed dg00x->rx_stream and returned success. This potentially leads to a use after free.

power: supply: bq27xxx: Fix poll_interval handling and races on remove

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: power: supply: bq27xxx: Fix poll_interval handling and races on remove Before this patch bq27xxx_battery_teardown() was setting poll_interval = 0 to avoid bq27xxx_battery_update() requeuing the delayed_work item. There are 2 problems with this: 1. If the driver is unbound through sysfs, rather then the module being rmmod-ed, this changes poll_interval unexpectedly 2. This is racy, after it being set poll_interval could be changed before bq27xxx_battery_update() checks it through /sys/module/bq27xxx_battery/parameters/poll_interval Fix this by added a removed at

However, the ptr pointer in net->gen is invalid. In this case, when nfqnl_nf_hook_drop() is invoked to release the net, invalid address access occurs. The process is as follows: setup_net() ops_init() data = kzalloc(...) ---> alloc "data" net_assign_generic() ---> assign "date" to ptr in net->gen ... ops->init() ---> failed ... kfree(data); ---> ptr in net->gen is invali

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mmc: mxcmmc: fix return value check of mmc_add_host() mmc_add_host() may return error, if we ignore its return value, the memory that allocated in mmc_alloc_host() will be leaked and it will lead a kernel crash because of deleting not added device in the remove path. So fix this by checking the return value and goto error path which will call mmc_free_host().

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: Fix PCI device refcount leak in amdgpu_atrm_get_bios() As comment of pci_get_class() says, it returns a pci_device with its refcount increased and decreased the refcount for the input parameter @from if it is not NULL. If we break the loop in amdgpu_atrm_get_bios() with 'pdev' not NULL, we need to call pci_dev_put() to decrease the refcount. Add the missing pci_dev_put() to avoid refcount leak.
