    tcp_bpf: Fix the sk_mem_uncharge logic in tcp_bpf_sendmsg

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tcp_bpf: Fix the sk_mem_uncharge logic in tcp_bpf_sendmsg The current sk memory accounting logic in __SK_REDIRECT is pre-uncharging tosend bytes, which is either msg->sg.size or a smaller value apply_bytes. Potential problems with this strategy are as follows: - If the actual sent bytes are smaller than tosend, we need to charge some bytes back, as in line 487, which is okay but seems not clean. - When tosend is set to apply_bytes, as in line 417, and (ret < 0), we may miss uncharging (msg->sg.size - apply_bytes) bytes. [...] 415 tosend = msg->sg.size; 416 if (psock

The kref_put() call may decrement the reference count of sfp to zero, triggering its cleanup through sg_remove_sfp(). This cleanup inc

HID: wacom: fix when get product name maybe null pointer

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: wacom: fix when get product name maybe null pointer Due to incorrect dev->product reporting by certain devices, null pointer dereferences occur when dev->product is empty, leading to potential system crashes. This issue was found on EXCELSIOR DL37-D05 device with Loongson-LS3A6000-7A2000-DL37 motherboard. nilfs2: fix potential out-of-bounds memory access in nilfs_find_entry()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nilfs2: fix potential out-of-bounds memory access in nilfs_find_entry() Syzbot reported that when searching for records in a directory where the inode's i_size is corrupted and has a large value, memory access outside the folio/page range may occur, or a use-after-free bug may be detected if KASAN is enabled. This is because nilfs_last_byte(), which is called by nilfs_find_entry() and others to calculate the number of valid bytes of directory data in a page from i_size and the page index, loses the upper 32 bits of the 64-bit size information due to an inappropriate type o

bpf: fix OOB devmap writes when deleting elements

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: fix OOB devmap writes when deleting elements Jordy reported issue against XSKMAP which also applies to DEVMAP - the index used for accessing map entry, due to being a signed integer, causes the OOB writes. Fix is simple as changing the type from int to u32, however, when compared to XSKMAP case, one more thing needs to be addressed. When map is released from system via dev_map_free(), we iterate through all of the entries and an iterator variable is also an int, which implies OOB accesses. Again, change it to be u32. Example splat below: [ 160.724676] BUG: unable t

xsk: fix OOB map writes when deleting elements

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xsk: fix OOB map writes when deleting elements Jordy says: " In the xsk_map_delete_elem function an unsigned integer (map->max_entries) is compared with a user-controlled signed integer (k). Due to implicit type conversion, a large unsigned value for map->max_entries can bypass the intended bounds check: if (k >= map->max_entries) return -EINVAL; This allows k to hold a negative value (between -2147483648 and -2), which is then used as an array index in m->xsk_map[k], which results in an out-of-bounds access. spin_lock_bh(&m->lock); map_entry = &m->xsk_map[k]; // O

af_packet: avoid erroring out after sock_init_data() in packet_create()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: af_packet: avoid erroring out after sock_init_data() in packet_create() After sock_init_data() the allocated sk object is attached to the provided sock object. On error, packet_create() frees the sk object leaving the dangling pointer in the sock object on return. Some other code may try to use this pointer and cause use-after-free.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: do not leave dangling sk pointer on error in l2cap_sock_create() bt_sock_alloc() allocates the sk object and attaches it to the provided sock object. On error l2cap_sock_alloc() frees the sk object, but the dangling pointer is still attached to the sock object, which may create use-after-free in other code.

This will leave a dangling sk pointer in the sock object and may cause use-after-free later.

wifi: brcmfmac: Fix oops due to NULL pointer dereference in brcmf_sdiod_sglist_rw()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: brcmfmac: Fix oops due to NULL pointer dereference in brcmf_sdiod_sglist_rw() This patch fixes a NULL pointer dereference bug in brcmfmac that occurs when a high 'sd_sgentry_align' value applies (e.g. 512) and a lot of queued SKBs are sent from the pkt queue. The problem is the number of entries in the pre-allocated sgtable, it is nents = max(rxglom_size, txglom_size) + max(rxglom_size, txglom_size) >> 4 + 1. Given the default [rt]xglom_size=32 it's actually 35 which is too small. Worst case, the pkt queue can end up with 64 SKBs. This occurs when a new SKB is added
