ipv6: fix potential "struct net" leak in inet6_rtm_getaddr()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: fix potential "struct net" leak in inet6_rtm_getaddr() It seems that if userspace provides a correct IFA_TARGET_NETNSID value but no IFA_ADDRESS and IFA_LOCAL attributes, inet6_rtm_getaddr() returns -EINVAL with an elevated "struct net" refcount.

netfilter: bridge: confirm multicast packets before passing them up the stack

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: bridge: confirm multicast packets before passing them up the stack conntrack nf_confirm logic cannot handle cloned skbs referencing the same nf_conn entry, which will happen for multicast (broadcast) frames on bridges. Example: macvlan0 | br0 / \ ethX ethY ethX (or Y) receives a L2 multicast or broadcast packet containing an IP packet, flow is not yet in conntrack table. 1. skb passes through bridge and fake-ip (br_netfilter)Prerouting. -> skb->_nfct now references a unconfirmed entry 2. skb is broad/mcast packet. bridge no

rtnetlink: fix error logic of IFLA_BRIDGE_FLAGS writing back

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rtnetlink: fix error logic of IFLA_BRIDGE_FLAGS writing back In the commit d73ef2d69c0d ("rtnetlink: let rtnl_bridge_setlink checks IFLA_BRIDGE_MODE length"), an adjustment was made to the old loop logic in the function `rtnl_bridge_setlink` to enable the loop to also check the length of the IFLA_BRIDGE_MODE attribute. However, this adjustment removed the `break` statement and led to an error logic of the flags writing back at the end of this function. if (have_flags) memcpy(nla_data(attr), &flags, sizeof(flags)); // attr should point to IFLA_BRIDGE_FLAGS NLA !!!

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: power: supply: bq27xxx-i2c: Do not free non existing IRQ The bq27xxx i2c-client may not have an IRQ, in which case client->irq will be 0. bq27xxx_battery_i2c_probe() already has an if (client->irq) check wrapping the request_threaded_irq(). wifi: nl80211: reject iftype change with mesh ID change

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: nl80211: reject iftype change with mesh ID change It's currently possible to change the mesh ID when the interface isn't yet in mesh mode, at the same time as changing it into mesh mode. This leads to an overwrite of data in the wdev->u union for the interface type it currently has, causing cfg80211_change_iface() to do wrong things when switching. We could probably allow setting an interface to mesh while setting the mesh ID at the same time by doing a different order of operations here, but realistically there's no userspace that's going to do this, so just disallo

usb: gadget: ncm: Avoid dropping datagrams of properly parsed NTBs

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: ncm: Avoid dropping datagrams of properly parsed NTBs It is observed sometimes when tethering is used over NCM with Windows 11 as host, at some instances, the gadget_giveback has one byte appended at the end of a proper NTB. When the NTB is parsed, unwrap call looks for any leftover bytes in SKB provided by u_ether and if there are any pending bytes, it treats them as a separate NTB and parses it. But in case the second NTB (as per unwrap call) is faulty/corrupt, all the datagrams that were parsed properly in the first NTB and saved in rx_list are dropped. Add

Reset dst in route object, otherwise if flow_offload_add() fails, error path releases dst twice, leading to a refcount underflow.

firewire: nosy: ensure user_length is taken into account when fetching packet contents

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firewire: nosy: ensure user_length is taken into account when fetching packet contents Ensure that packet_buffer_get respects the user_length provided. If the length of the head packet exceeds the user_length, packet_buffer_get will now return 0 to signify to the user that no data were read and a larger buffer size is required. Helps prevent user space overflows.

    Bluetooth: l2cap: fix null-ptr-deref in l2cap_chan_timeout

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: l2cap: fix null-ptr-deref in l2cap_chan_timeout There is a race condition between l2cap_chan_timeout() and l2cap_chan_del(). When we use l2cap_chan_del() to delete the channel, the chan->conn will be set to null. But the conn could be dereferenced again in the mutex_lock() of l2cap_chan_timeout(). As a result the null pointer dereference bug will happen. The sock will be deallocated later, but it is dereferenced again in sco_sock_timeout. As a result, the use-after-free bugs will happen. usb: aqc111: check packet for fixup for true limit

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: aqc111: check packet for fixup for true limit If a device sends a packet that is inbetween 0 and sizeof(u64) the value passed to skb_trim() as length will wrap around ending up as some very large value. The driver will then proceed to parse the header located at that position, which will either oops or process some random value. The fix is to check against sizeof(u64) rather than 0, which the driver currently does. The issue exists since the introduction of the driver.

Update set backend .insert, .deactivate and sync gc path to use the timestamp, this avoids that an element expires while control plane transaction is still unfinished. .lookup and .update, which are used from packet path, still use the current time to check if the element has expired. And .get path and dump also since this runs lockless under rcu read size lock. Then, there is async gc which also needs to

net: gtp: Fix Use-After-Free in gtp_dellink

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: gtp: Fix Use-After-Free in gtp_dellink Since call_rcu, which is called in the hlist_for_each_entry_rcu traversal of gtp_dellink, is not part of the RCU read critical section, it is possible that the RCU grace period will pass during the traversal and the key will be free. To prevent this, it should be changed to hlist_for_each_entry_safe.

    xen-netfront: Add missing skb_mark_for_recycle

It is believed that fixes tag were missing a call to page_pool_release_page() between v5.9 to v5.14, after which is should have used skb_mark_for_recycle(). Under load, synchronize_net() can last between 200 usec and 5 ms. KASAN seems to agree as well.
