    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: do not BUG_ON() on ENOMEM when dropping extent items for a range If we get -ENOMEM while dropping file extent items in a given range, at btrfs_drop_extents(), due to failure to allocate memory when attempting to increment the reference count for an extent or drop the reference count, we handle it with a BUG_ON(). This is excessive, instead we can simply abort the transaction and return the error to the caller. In fact most callers of btrfs_drop_extents(), directly or indirectly, already abort the transaction if btrfs_drop_extents() returns any error. Also, we alread

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: thermal/drivers/hisi: Drop second sensor hi3660 The commit 74c8e6bffbe1 ("driver core: Add __alloc_size hint to devm allocators") exposes a panic "BRK handler: Fatal exception" on the hi3660_thermal_probe funciton. This is because the function allocates memory for only one sensors array entry, but tries to fill up a second one. Fix this by removing the unneeded second access.

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: call op_release, even when op_func returns an error For ops with "trivial" replies, nfsd4_encode_operation will shortcut most of the encoding work and skip to just marshalling up the status. One of the things it skips is calling op_release. This could cause a memory leak in the layoutget codepath if there is an error at an inopportune time. Have the compound processing engine always call op_release, even when op_func sets an error in op->status. With this change, we also need nfsd4_block_get_device_info_scsi to set the gd_device pointer to NULL on error to avoid a do

In the for loop, 'i' is used as the index for array 'priv->ports[]' with a check (i > INNO_PHY_PORT_NUM) which indicates that INNO_PHY_PORT_NUM is allowed value for 'i' in the same loop. This > comparison needs to be changed to >=, otherwise it potentially leads to an out of bounds write on the next iteration through the loop

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: jfs: jfs_dmap: Validate db_l2nbperpage while mounting In jfs_dmap.c at line 381, BLKTODMAP is used to get a logical block number inside dbFree(). db_l2nbperpage, which is the log2 number of blocks per page, is passed as an argument to BLKTODMAP which uses it for shifting. Syzbot reported a shift out-of-bounds crash because db_l2nbperpage is too big. This happens because the large value is set without any validation in dbMount() at line 181. When msg[i].buf is null and msg[i].len is zero, former checks on msg[i].buf would be passed. Malicious data finally reach az6007_i2c_xfer. If accessing msg[i].buf[0] without sanity check, null ptr deref would happen. We add check on msg[i].len to prevent crash.
