Cacti through 1.2.29 allows SQL injection in the template function in host_templates.php via the graph_template parameter. NOTE: this issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2024-54146.
Cacti is an open source performance and fault management framework. An admin user can create a device with a malicious hostname containing php code and repeat the installation process (completing only step 5 of the installation process is enough, no need to complete the steps before or after it) to use a php file as the cacti log file. After having the malicious hostname end up in the logs (log poisoning), one can simply go to the log file url to execute commands to achieve RCE. This issue has been addressed in version 1.2.28 and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
Cacti is an open source performance and fault management framework. The`consolenewsection` parameter is not properly sanitized when saving external links in links.php . Morever, the said consolenewsection parameter is stored in the database and reflected back to user in `index.php`, finally leading to stored XSS. Users with the privilege to create external links can manipulate the “consolenewsection” parameter in the http post request while creating external links to perform stored XSS attacks. The vulnerability known as XSS (Cross-Site Scripting) occurs when an application allows untrusted user input to be displayed on a web page without pro

Cacti is an open source performance and fault management framework. The `fileurl` parameter is not properly sanitized when saving external links in `links.php` . Morever, the said fileurl is placed in some html code which is passed to the `print` function in `link.php` and `index.php`, finally leading to stored XSS. Users with the privilege to create external links can manipulate the `fileurl` parameter in the http post request while creating external links to perform stored XSS attacks. Cacti provides an operational monitoring and fault management framework. A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability on the 1.3.x DEV branch allows attackers to obtain cookies of administrator and other users and fake their login using obtained cookies. This issue is fixed in commit a38b9046e9772612fda847b46308f9391a49891e.
Cacti provides an operational monitoring and fault management framework. A command injection vulnerability on the 1.3.x DEV branch allows any unauthenticated user to execute arbitrary command on the server when `register_argc_argv` option of PHP is `On`. In `cmd_realtime.php` line 119, the `$poller_id` used as part of the command execution is sourced from `$_SERVER['argv']`, which can be controlled by URL when `register_argc_argv` option of PHP is `On`. And this option is `On` by default in many environments such as the main PHP Docker image for PHP. Commit 53e8014d1f082034e0646edc6286cde3800c683d contains a patch for the issue, but this comm
Cacti provides an operational monitoring and fault management framework. Versions of Cacti prior to 1.2.27 are vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting, a type of cross-site scripting where malicious scripts are permanently stored on a target server and served to users who access a particular page. Version 1.2.27 contains a patch for the issue.
SQL Injection vulnerability in Cacti v1.2.25 allows a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information via the form_actions() function in the managers.php function.
A reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Cacti 0.8.7g and earlier allows unauthenticated remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML in the "ref" parameter at auth_changepassword.php.
In Cacti 1.2.19, there is an authentication bypass in the web login functionality because of improper validation in the PHP code: cacti_ldap_auth() allows a zero as the password.
Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Cacti 1.2.21 via crafted POST request to graphs_new.php.
Cacti before 1.2.6 allows IDOR (Insecure Direct Object Reference) for accessing any graph via a modified local_graph_id parameter to graph_xport.php. This is a different vulnerability than CVE-2019-16723.
Under certain ldap conditions, Cacti authentication can be bypassed with certain credential types.
As an unauthenticated remote user, visit "http://<CACTI_SERVER>/auth_changepassword.php?ref=<script>alert(1)</script>" to successfully execute the JavaScript payload present in the "ref" URL parameter.
Cacti 1.1.38 allows authenticated users with User Management permissions to inject arbitrary web script or HTML in the "new_username" field during creation of a new user via "Copy" method at user_admin.php.
Cacti 1.1.38 allows authenticated users with User Management permissions to inject arbitrary HTML in the group_prefix field during the creation of a new group via "Copy" method at user_group_admin.php.
