In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: selinux: Add boundary check in put_entry() Just like next_entry(), boundary check is necessary to prevent memory out-of-bound access.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/radeon: fix potential buffer overflow in ni_set_mc_special_registers() The last case label can write two buffers 'mc_reg_address[j]' and 'mc_data[j]' with 'j' offset equal to SMC_NISLANDS_MC_REGISTER_ARRAY_SIZE since there are no checks for this value in both case labels after the last 'j++'. Instead of changing '>' to '>=' there, add the bounds check at the start of the second 'case' (the first one already has it). Also, remove redundant last checks for 'j' index bigger than array size. The expression is always false. Moreover, before or after the patch 'table->last'
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ath9k: fix use-after-free in ath9k_hif_usb_rx_cb Syzbot reported use-after-free Read in ath9k_hif_usb_rx_cb() [0]. The problem was in incorrect htc_handle->drv_priv initialization. Probable call trace which can trigger use-after-free: ath9k_htc_probe_device() /* htc_handle->drv_priv = priv; */ ath9k_htc_wait_for_target() <--- Failed ieee80211_free_hw() <--- priv pointer is freed <IRQ> ... ath9k_hif_usb_rx_cb() ath9k_hif_usb_rx_stream() RX_STAT_INC() <--- htc_handle->drv_priv access In order to not add fancy protection for drv_priv we can move htc_ha
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: libertas: Fix possible refcount leak in if_usb_probe() usb_get_dev will be called before lbs_get_firmware_async which means that usb_put_dev need to be called when lbs_get_firmware_async fails.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: host: Fix refcount leak in ehci_hcd_ppc_of_probe of_find_compatible_node() returns a node pointer with refcount incremented, we should use of_node_put() on it when done. Add missing of_node_put() to avoid refcount leak.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: ohci-nxp: Fix refcount leak in ohci_hcd_nxp_probe of_parse_phandle() returns a node pointer with refcount incremented, we should use of_node_put() on it when not need anymore. Add missing of_node_put() to avoid refcount leak.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: memstick/ms_block: Fix a memory leak 'erased_blocks_bitmap' is never freed. As it is allocated at the same time as 'used_blocks_bitmap', it is likely that it should be freed also at the same time. Add the corresponding bitmap_free() in msb_data_clear().
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/srpt: Fix a use-after-free Change the LIO port members inside struct srpt_port from regular members into pointers. Allocate the LIO port data structures from inside srpt_make_tport() and free these from inside srpt_make_tport(). Keep struct srpt_device as long as either an RDMA port or a LIO target port is associated with it. This patch decouples the lifetime of struct srpt_port (controlled by the RDMA core) and struct srpt_port_id (controlled by LIO). This patch fixes the following KASAN complaint: BUG: KASAN: use-after-free in srpt_enable_tpg+0x31/0x70 [ib_srpt]

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tty: n_gsm: fix deadlock and link starvation in outgoing data path The current implementation queues up new control and user packets as needed and processes this queue down to the ldisc in the same code path. That means that the upper and the lower layer are hard coupled in the code. Due to this deadlocks can happen as seen below while transmitting data, especially during ldisc congestion. Furthermore, the data channels starve the control channel on high transmission load on the ldisc. Introduce an additional control channel data queue to prevent timeouts and link hangups
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/cell/axon_msi: Fix refcount leak in setup_msi_msg_address of_get_next_parent() returns a node pointer with refcount incremented, we should use of_node_put() on it when not need anymore. Add missing of_node_put() in the error path to avoid refcount leak.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/spufs: Fix refcount leak in spufs_init_isolated_loader of_find_node_by_path() returns remote device nodepointer with refcount incremented, we should use of_node_put() on it when done. Add missing of_node_put() to avoid refcount leak.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: video: fbdev: arkfb: Fix a divide-by-zero bug in ark_set_pixclock() Since the user can control the arguments of the ioctl() from the user space, under special arguments that may result in a divide-by-zero bug in: drivers/video/fbdev/arkfb.c:784: ark_set_pixclock(info, (hdiv * info->var.pixclock) / hmul); with hdiv=1, pixclock=1 and hmul=2 you end up with (1*1)/2 = (int) 0. and then in: drivers/video/fbdev/arkfb.c:504: rv = dac_set_freq(par->dac, 0, 1000000000 / pixclock); we'll get a division-by-zero. The following log can reveal it: divide error: 0000 [#1] PREEMPT SM

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: replace BTRFS_MAX_EXTENT_SIZE with fs_info->max_extent_size On zoned filesystem, data write out is limited by max_zone_append_size, and a large ordered extent is split according the size of a bio. OTOH, the number of extents to be written is calculated using BTRFS_MAX_EXTENT_SIZE, and that estimated number is used to reserve the metadata bytes to update and/or create the metadata items. The metadata reservation is done at e.g, btrfs_buffered_write() and then released according to the estimation changes. Thus, if the number of extent increases massively, the reserved
