    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/i915/gt: fix refcount underflow in intel_engine_park_heartbeat A use-after-free / refcount underflow is possible when the heartbeat worker and intel_engine_park_heartbeat() race to release the same engine->heartbeat.systole request. The heartbeat worker reads engine->heartbeat.systole and calls i915_request_put() on it when the request is complete, but clears the pointer in a separate, non-atomic step. Concurrently, a request retirement on another CPU can drop the engine wakeref to zero, triggering __engine_park() -> intel_engine_park_heartbeat(). If the heartbeat time

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rxrpc: reject undecryptable rxkad response tickets rxkad_decrypt_ticket() decrypts the RXKAD response ticket and then parses the buffer as plaintext without checking whether crypto_skcipher_decrypt() succeeded. A malformed RESPONSE can therefore use a non-block-aligned ticket length, make the decrypt operation fail, and still drive the ticket parser with attacker-controlled bytes. Check the decrypt result and abort the connection with RXKADBADTICKET when ticket decryption fails.

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rxrpc: proc: size address buffers for %pISpc output The AF_RXRPC procfs helpers format local and remote socket addresses into fixed 50-byte stack buffers with "%pISpc". That is too small for the longest current-tree IPv6-with-port form the formatter can produce. In lib/vsprintf.c, the compressed IPv6 path uses a dotted-quad tail not only for v4mapped addresses, but also for ISATAP addresses via ipv6_addr_is_isatap(). As a result, a case such as [ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff:0:5efe:255.255.255.255]:65535 is possible with the current formatter. That is 50 visible characters, so

Execution falls through to the remainder of the function, which calls release_sock() and nfc_llcp_sock_put() again. This results in a double release_sock() and a refcount underflow via double nfc_llcp_sock_put(), leading to a use-after-free. Fix this up by properly checking in the hid-alps driver that it had been claimed correctly before attempting to process the raw event.

The peer sets the cascade tag in the SDD_RES (deciding 3 vs 4 bytes) and the cascade-incomplete bit in the SEL_RES (deciding whether another round follows). ISO 14443-3 limits NFC-A to three cascade levels and target->nfcid1 is sized accordingly (NFC_NFCID1_MAXSIZE = 10), but nothing in the driver actually enforce

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: fireworks: bound device-supplied status before string array lookup The status field in an EFW response is a 32-bit value supplied by the firewire device. efr_status_names[] has 17 entries so a status value outside that range goes off into the weeds when looking at the %s value. Even worse, the status could return EFR_STATUS_INCOMPLETE which is 0x80000000, and is obviously not in that array of potential strings. Fix this up by properly bounding the index against the array size and printing "unknown" if it's not recognized.

When block_len is smaller than opts->ndp_size, the bounds check of: ndp_index > (block_len - opts->ndp_size) will underflow producing a huge unsigned value that ndp_index can never exceed, defeating the check entirely. The same underflow occurs in the datagram index checks against block_len - opts->dpe_size. With those checks neutered, a malicious USB host can choose ndp_index and datagram offsets that

Fix this up by validating the number of endpoints actually match up with the number the device has before attempting to dereference a pointer based on this math. This is just like what was done in commit ee0d382feb44 ("usb: gadget: aspeed_udc: validate endpoint index for ast udc") for the aspeed driver.
