In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: skbuff: preserve shared-frag marker during coalescing skb_try_coalesce() can attach paged frags from @from to @to. If @from has SKBFL_SHARED_FRAG set, the resulting @to skb can contain the same externally-owned or page-cache-backed frags, but the shared-frag marker is currently lost. That breaks the invariant relied on by later in-place writers. In particular, ESP input checks skb_has_shared_frag() before deciding whether an uncloned nonlinear skb can skip skb_cow_data(). In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: skbuff: propagate shared-frag marker through frag-transfer helpers Two frag-transfer helpers (__pskb_copy_fclone() and skb_shift()) fail to propagate the SKBFL_SHARED_FRAG bit in skb_shinfo()->flags when moving frags from source to destination. __pskb_copy_fclone() defers the rest of the shinfo metadata to skb_copy_header() after copying frag descriptors, but that helper only carries over gso_{size,segs, type} and never touches skb_shinfo()->flags; skb_shift() moves frag descriptors directly and leaves flags untouched. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/rds: handle zerocopy send cleanup before the message is queued A zerocopy send can fail after user pages have been pinned but before the message is attached to the sending socket. The purge path currently infers zerocopy state from rm->m_rs, so an unqueued message can be cleaned up as if it owned normal payload pages. However, zerocopy ownership is really determined by the presence of op_mmp_znotifier, regardless of whether the message has reached the socket queue. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: rpl: reserve mac_len headroom when recompressed SRH grows ipv6_rpl_srh_rcv() decompresses an RFC 6554 Source Routing Header, swaps the next segment into ipv6_hdr->daddr, recompresses, then pulls the old header and pushes the new one plus the IPv6 header back. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rtmutex: Use waiter::task instead of current in remove_waiter() remove_waiter() is used by the slowlock paths, but it is also used for proxy-lock rollback in rt_mutex_start_proxy_lock() when invoked from futex_requeue(). In the latter case waiter::task is not current, but remove_waiter() operates on current for the dequeue operation. That results in several problems: 1) the rbtree dequeue happens without waiter::task::pi_lock being held 2) the waiter task's pi_blocked_on state is not cleared, which leaves a dangling pointer primed for UAF around. 3) rt_mutex_
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: udlfb: add vm_ops to dlfb_ops_mmap to prevent use-after-free dlfb_ops_mmap() uses remap_pfn_range() to map vmalloc framebuffer pages to userspace but sets no vm_ops on the VMA. This means the kernel cannot track active mmaps. When dlfb_realloc_framebuffer() replaces the backing buffer via FBIOPUT_VSCREENINFO, existing mmap PTEs are not invalidated. On USB disconnect, dlfb_ops_destroy() calls vfree() on the old pages while userspace PTEs still reference them, resulting in a use-after-free: the process retains read/write access to freed kernel pages. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: sch_red: Replace direct dequeue call with peek and qdisc_dequeue_peeked When red qdisc has children (eg qfq qdisc) whose peek() callback is qdisc_peek_dequeued(), we could get a kernel panic. When the parent of such qdiscs (eg illustrated in patch #3 as tbf) wants to retrieve an skb from its child (red in this case), it will do the following: 1a. do a peek() - and when sensing there's an skb the child can offer, then - the child in this case(red) calls its child's (qfq) peek. qfq does the right thing and will return the gso_skb queue packet.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: wwan: t7xx: validate port_count against message length in t7xx_port_enum_msg_handler t7xx_port_enum_msg_handler() uses the modem-supplied port_count field as a loop bound over port_msg->data[] without checking that the message buffer contains sufficient data. A modem sending port_count=65535 in a 12-byte buffer triggers a slab-out-of-bounds read of up to 262140 bytes. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/rds: reset op_nents when zerocopy page pin fails When iov_iter_get_pages2() fails in rds_message_zcopy_from_user(), the pinned pages are released with put_page(), and rm->data.op_mmp_znotifier is cleared. But we fail to properly clear rm->data.op_nents. Later when rds_message_purge() is called from rds_sendmsg() the cleanup loop iterates over the incorrectly non zero number of op_nents and frees them again. Fix this by properly resetting op_nents when it should be in rds_message_zcopy_from_user().

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: lib/crypto: mpi: Fix integer underflow in mpi_read_raw_from_sgl() Yiming reports an integer underflow in mpi_read_raw_from_sgl() when subtracting "lzeros" from the unsigned "nbytes". For this to happen, the scatterlist "sgl" needs to occupy more bytes than the "nbytes" parameter and the first "nbytes + 1" bytes of the scatterlist must be zero. Under these conditions, the while loop iterating over the scatterlist will count more zeroes than "nbytes", subtract the number of zeroes from "nbytes" and cause the underflow. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: qrtr: ns: Limit the maximum server registration per node Current code does no bound checking on the number of servers added per node. A malicious client can flood NEW_SERVER messages and exhaust memory. Fix this issue by limiting the maximum number of server registrations to 256 per node. If the NEW_SERVER message is received for an old port, then don't restrict it as it will get replaced. While at it, also rate limit the error messages in the failure path of qrtr_ns_worker(). In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: validate inherited ACE SID length smb_inherit_dacl() walks the parent directory DACL loaded from the security descriptor xattr. It verifies that each ACE contains the fixed SID header before using it, but does not verify that the variable-length SID described by sid.num_subauth is fully contained in the ACE. A malformed inheritable ACE can advertise more subauthorities than are present in the ACE. compare_sids() may then read past the ACE. smb_set_ace() also clamps the copied destination SID, but used the unchecked source SID count to compute the inherited ACE size.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mmc: core: Avoid bitfield RMW for claim/retune flags Move claimed and retune control flags out of the bitfield word to avoid unrelated RMW side effects in asynchronous contexts. The host->claimed bit shared a word with retune flags. Writes to claimed in __mmc_claim_host() or retune_now in mmc_mq_queue_rq() can overwrite other bits when concurrent updates happen in other contexts, triggering spurious WARN_ON(!host->claimed). Convert claimed, can_retune, retune_now and retune_paused to bool to remove shared-word coupling.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: SVM: Set/clear CR8 write interception when AVIC is (de)activated Explicitly set/clear CR8 write interception when AVIC is (de)activated to fix a bug where KVM leaves the interception enabled after AVIC is activated. E.g. if KVM emulates INIT=>WFS while AVIC is deactivated, CR8 will remain intercepted in perpetuity. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: amd: acp3x-rt5682-max9836: Add missing error check for clock acquisition The acp3x_5682_init() function did not check the return value of clk_get(), which could lead to dereferencing error pointers in rt5682_clk_enable(). Fix this by: 1. Changing clk_get() to the device-managed devm_clk_get(). 2. Adding proper IS_ERR() checks for both clock acquisitions.
