  1. CVE-2026-115449

    Baja · CVSS 3.5EPSS 0,23%Sin corrección publicada

Libslirp: libslirp: icmp echo reply length desynchronization leaks host ip to guest

A flaw was found in libslirp. When handling ICMP echo requests, the reply length is not updated to match the actual data received from the host. Under specific conditions where the normal ICMP socket is unavailable, this length mismatch causes the host's real IP address to be leaked to the guest in the echo reply, breaking the NAT isolation that user-mode networking is expected to provide.

  2. CVE-2026-95508

    Alta · CVSS 7.4EPSS 0,57%Sin corrección publicada

Libslirp: libslirp: heap buffer overflow in dhcpv6/tftp response builders on small interface mtu

A heap-based buffer overflow was found in the DHCPv6 and TFTP response builders of libslirp. When the host is configured with a small interface MTU, a guest-supplied DHCPv6 CLIENTID option or TFTP blksize option can overflow the reply buffer with attacker-controlled content and length, resulting in denial of service and potentially arbitrary code execution in the host process. The default interface MTU is not affected.

libslirp TCP URG OOB Read Information Leak

An out-of-bounds heap read and integer underflow in the TCP urgent data handling (sosendoob) in freedesktop.org libslirp version before v4.9.2 on hypervisor host environments (e.g., QEMU) allows a privileged guest VM attacker (root or CAP_NET_RAW) to leak gigabytes of sensitive host-process heap memory via sending crafted TCP segments with manipulated URG flags and urgent pointers (ti_urp).

  4. CVE-2021-3595

    Baja · CVSS 3.8EPSS 0,33%Corrección disponible

    CVE-2021-3595

An invalid pointer initialization issue was found in the SLiRP networking implementation of QEMU. The flaw exists in the tftp_input() function and could occur while processing a udp packet that is smaller than the size of the 'tftp_t' structure. This issue may lead to out-of-bounds read access or indirect host memory disclosure to the guest. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality. This flaw affects libslirp versions prior to 4.6.0.

    CVE-2021-3594

An invalid pointer initialization issue was found in the SLiRP networking implementation of QEMU. The flaw exists in the udp_input() function and could occur while processing a udp packet that is smaller than the size of the 'udphdr' structure. This issue may lead to out-of-bounds read access or indirect host memory disclosure to the guest. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality. This flaw affects libslirp versions prior to 4.6.0.

    CVE-2021-3593

An invalid pointer initialization issue was found in the SLiRP networking implementation of QEMU. The flaw exists in the udp6_input() function and could occur while processing a udp packet that is smaller than the size of the 'udphdr' structure. This issue may lead to out-of-bounds read access or indirect host memory disclosure to the guest. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality. This flaw affects libslirp versions prior to 4.6.0.

  7. CVE-2021-3592

    Baja · CVSS 3.8EPSS 0,33%Corrección disponible

    CVE-2021-3592

An invalid pointer initialization issue was found in the SLiRP networking implementation of QEMU. The flaw exists in the bootp_input() function and could occur while processing a udp packet that is smaller than the size of the 'bootp_t' structure. A malicious guest could use this flaw to leak 10 bytes of uninitialized heap memory from the host. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality. This flaw affects libslirp versions prior to 4.6.0.

  8. CVE-2020-10756

    Media · CVSS 6.5EPSS 0,51%Corrección disponible

    CVE-2020-10756

An out-of-bounds read vulnerability was found in the SLiRP networking implementation of the QEMU emulator. This flaw occurs in the icmp6_send_echoreply() routine while replying to an ICMP echo request, also known as ping. This flaw allows a malicious guest to leak the contents of the host memory, resulting in possible information disclosure. This flaw affects versions of libslirp before 4.3.1.

  9. CVE-2020-7039

    Media · CVSS 5.6EPSS 3,57%Corrección disponible

    CVE-2020-7039

tcp_emu in tcp_subr.c in libslirp 4.1.0, as used in QEMU 4.2.0, mismanages memory, as demonstrated by IRC DCC commands in EMU_IRC. This can cause a heap-based buffer overflow or other out-of-bounds access which can lead to a DoS or potential execute arbitrary code.
