An Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability exists in open-webui/open-webui version v0.3.8. The vulnerability occurs in the API endpoint `http://0.0.0.0:3000/api/v1/memories/{id}/update`, where the decentralization design is flawed, allowing attackers to edit other users' memories without proper authorization.
Session Cookie without Secure and HTTPOnly flags in taipy
Taipy is an open-source Python library for easy, end-to-end application development for data scientists and machine learning engineers. In affected versions session cookies are served without Secure and HTTPOnly flags. This issue has been addressed in release version 4.0.0 and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
Wasmtime race condition could lead to WebAssembly control-flow integrity and type safety violations
Wasmtime is an open source runtime for WebAssembly. Under certain concurrent event orderings, a `wasmtime::Engine`'s internal type registry was susceptible to double-unregistration bugs due to a race condition, leading to panics and potentially type registry corruption. That registry corruption could, following an additional and particular sequence of concurrent events, lead to violations of WebAssembly's control-flow integrity (CFI) and type safety. Users that do not use `wasmtime::Engine` across multiple threads are not affected. Users that only create new modules across threads over time are additionally not affected. Reproducing this bug
Wasmtime runtime crash when combining tail calls with trapping imports
Wasmtime is an open source runtime for WebAssembly. Wasmtime's implementation of WebAssembly tail calls combined with stack traces can result in a runtime crash in certain WebAssembly modules. The runtime crash may be undefined behavior if Wasmtime was compiled with Rust 1.80 or prior. The runtime crash is a deterministic process abort when Wasmtime is compiled with Rust 1.81 and later. WebAssembly tail calls are a proposal which relatively recently reached stage 4 in the standardization process. Wasmtime first enabled support for tail calls by default in Wasmtime 21.0.0, although that release contained a bug where it was only on-by-default f
An issue was discovered in Django v5.1.1, v5.0.9, and v4.2.16. The django.contrib.auth.forms.PasswordResetForm class, when used in a view implementing password reset flows, allows remote attackers to enumerate user e-mail addresses by sending password reset requests and observing the outcome (only when e-mail sending is consistently failing).
An issue was discovered in Django 5.1 before 5.1.1, 5.0 before 5.0.9, and 4.2 before 4.2.16. The urlize() and urlizetrunc() template filters are subject to a potential denial-of-service attack via very large inputs with a specific sequence of characters.
An issue in the getcolor function in utils.py of xhtml2pdf v0.2.13 allows attackers to cause a Regular expression Denial of Service (ReDOS) via supplying a crafted string.
In OpenStack Ironic before 21.4.4, 22.x and 23.x before 23.0.3, 23.x and 24.x before 24.1.3, and 25.x and 26.x before 26.1.0, there is a lack of checksum validation of supplied image_source URLs when configured to convert images to a raw format for streaming.
OpenC3 COSMOS uses clear text storage of password/token (`GHSL-2024-129`)
OpenC3 COSMOS provides the functionality needed to send commands to and receive data from one or more embedded systems. OpenC3 COSMOS stores the password of a user unencrypted in the LocalStorage of a web browser. This makes the user password susceptible to exfiltration via Cross-site scripting (see GHSL-2024-128). This vulnerability is fixed in 5.19.0. This only affects Open Source edition, and not OpenC3 COSMOS Enterprise Edition.
OpenC3 COSMOS allows a path traversal via screen controller (`GHSL-2024-127`)
OpenC3 COSMOS provides the functionality needed to send commands to and receive data from one or more embedded systems. A path traversal vulnerability inside of LocalMode's open_local_file method allows an authenticated user with adequate permissions to download any .txt via the ScreensController#show on the web server COSMOS is running on (depending on the file permissions). This vulnerability is fixed in 5.19.0.
OpenC3 COSMOS vulnerable to cross-site scripting in Login functionality (`GHSL-2024-128`)
OpenC3 COSMOS provides the functionality needed to send commands to and receive data from one or more embedded systems. The login functionality contains a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.19.0. Note: This CVE only affects Open Source Edition, and not OpenC3 COSMOS Enterprise Edition.
Inventree Server-Side Request Forgery vulnerability exposes server port/internal IP
### Impact
The "download image from remote URL" feature can be abused by a malicious actor to potentially extract information about server side resources. Submitting a crafted URL (in place of a valid image) can raise a server side error, which is reported back to the user.
This error message may contain sensitive information about the server side request, including information about the availability of the remote resource.
### Patches
The solution to this vulnerability is to prevent the server from returning any specific information about the observed exception. Instead, a generic error message is returned to the client.
This patch has
RestrictedPython information leakage via `AttributeError.obj` and the `string` module
RestrictedPython is a restricted execution environment for Python to run untrusted code. A user can gain access to protected (and potentially sensible) information indirectly via AttributeError.obj and the string module. The problem will be fixed in version 7.3. As a workaround, If the application does not require access to the module string, it can remove it from RestrictedPython.Utilities.utility_builtins or otherwise do not make it available in the restricted execution environment.
A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in Langflow up to 1.0.18. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file \src\backend\base\langflow\interface\utils.py of the component HTTP POST Request Handler. The manipulation of the argument remaining_text leads to inefficient regular expression complexity. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
Strawberry GraphQL is a library for creating GraphQL APIs. Prior to version 0.243.0, multipart file upload support as defined in the GraphQL multipart request specification was enabled by default in all Strawberry HTTP view integrations. This made all Strawberry HTTP view integrations vulnerable to cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks if users did not explicitly enable CSRF preventing security mechanism for their servers. Additionally, the Django HTTP view integration, in particular, had an exemption for Django's built-in CSRF protection (i.e., the `CsrfViewMiddleware` middleware) by default. In affect, all Strawberry integrations were v
sqlite-vec v0.1.1 was discovered to contain a heap buffer overflow via the npy_token_next function. This vulnerability allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted file.
OpenSlides 4.0.15 verifies passwords by comparing password hashes using a function with content-dependent runtime. This can allow attackers to obtain information about the password hash using a timing attack.
