Cockpit: cockpit: arbitrary command execution via crafted links in system logs ui

A flaw was found in Cockpit. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to achieve arbitrary command execution on the host by exploiting unsanitized user-controlled parameters within crafted links in the system logs user interface (UI). An attacker can inject shell metacharacters and command substitutions into these parameters, leading to the execution of arbitrary shell commands on the affected system. This could result in a complete system compromise.

Cockpit: cockpit: unauthenticated remote code execution due to ssh command-line argument injection

Cockpit's remote login feature passes user-supplied hostnames and usernames from the web interface to the SSH client without validation or sanitization. An attacker with network access to the Cockpit web service can craft a single HTTP request to the login endpoint that injects malicious SSH options or shell commands, achieving code execution on the Cockpit host without valid credentials. The injection occurs during the authentication flow before any credential verification takes place, meaning no login is required to exploit the vulnerability.

Cockpit CMS has SQL Injection in MongoLite Aggregation Optimizer via toJsonExtractRaw()

Cockpit is a headless content management system. Any Cockpit CMS instance running version 2.13.4 or earlier with API access enabled is potentially affected by a a SQL Injection vulnerability in the MongoLite Aggregation Optimizer. Any deployment where the `/api/content/aggregate/{model}` endpoint is publicly accessible or reachable by untrusted users may be vulnerable, and attackers in possession of a valid read-only API key (the lowest privilege level) can exploit this vulnerability — no admin access is required. An attacker can inject arbitrary SQL via unsanitized field names in aggregation queries, bypass the `_state=1` published-content f
