uio_hv_generic: Let userspace take care of interrupt mask

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: uio_hv_generic: Let userspace take care of interrupt mask Remove the logic to set interrupt mask by default in uio_hv_generic driver as the interrupt mask value is supposed to be controlled completely by the user space. If the mask bit gets changed by the driver, concurrently with user mode operating on the ring, the mask bit may be set when it is supposed to be clear, and the user-mode driver will miss an interrupt which will cause a hang. For eg- when the driver sets inbound ring buffer interrupt mask to 1, the host does not interrupt the guest on the UIO VMBus channel.

fs: udf: fix OOB read in lengthAllocDescs handling

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs: udf: fix OOB read in lengthAllocDescs handling When parsing Allocation Extent Descriptor, lengthAllocDescs comes from on-disk data and must be validated against the block size. Crafted or corrupted images may set lengthAllocDescs so that the total descriptor length (sizeof(allocExtDesc) + lengthAllocDescs) exceeds the buffer, leading udf_update_tag() to call crc_itu_t() on out-of-bounds memory and trigger a KASAN use-after-free read. BUG: KASAN: use-after-free in crc_itu_t+0x1d5/0x2b0 lib/crc-itu-t.c:60 Read of size 1 at addr ffff888041e7d000 by task syz-executor317/53

net: nfc: nci: Add parameter validation for packet data

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: nfc: nci: Add parameter validation for packet data Syzbot reported an uninitialized value bug in nci_init_req, which was introduced by commit 5aca7966d2a7 ("Merge tag 'perf-tools-fixes-for-v6.17-2025-09-16' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/perf/perf-tools"). This bug arises due to very limited and poor input validation that was done at nic_valid_size(). This validation only validates the skb->len (directly reflects size provided at the userspace interface) with the length provided in the buffer itself (interpreted as NCI_HEADER). This leads to the proc

misc: fastrpc: fix possible map leak in fastrpc_put_args

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: misc: fastrpc: fix possible map leak in fastrpc_put_args copy_to_user() failure would cause an early return without cleaning up the fdlist, which has been updated by the DSP. This could lead to map leak. Fix this by redirecting to a cleanup path on failure, ensuring that all mapped buffers are properly released before returning.

Input: uinput - zero-initialize uinput_ff_upload_compat to avoid info leak

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: uinput - zero-initialize uinput_ff_upload_compat to avoid info leak Struct ff_effect_compat is embedded twice inside uinput_ff_upload_compat, contains internal padding. In particular, there is a hole after struct ff_replay to satisfy alignment requirements for the following union member. Without clearing the structure, copy_to_user() may leak stack data to userspace. Initialize ff_up_compat to zero before filling valid fields.

pinctrl: check the return value of pinmux_ops::get_function_name()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pinctrl: check the return value of pinmux_ops::get_function_name() While the API contract in docs doesn't specify it explicitly, the generic implementation of the get_function_name() callback from struct pinmux_ops - pinmux_generic_get_function_name() - can fail and return NULL. This is already checked in pinmux_check_ops() so add a similar check in pinmux_func_name_to_selector() instead of passing the returned pointer right down to strcmp() where the NULL can get dereferenced. This is normal operation when adding new pinfunctions.

    KVM: x86: Don't (re)check L1 intercepts when completing userspace I/O

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86: Don't (re)check L1 intercepts when completing userspace I/O When completing emulation of instruction that generated a userspace exit for I/O, don't recheck L1 intercepts as KVM has already finished that phase of instruction execution, i.e. has already committed to allowing L2 to perform I/O. If L1 (or host userspace) modifies the I/O permission bitmaps during the exit to userspace, KVM will treat the access as being intercepted despite already having emulated the I/O access. ipvs: Defer ip_vs_ftp unregister during netns cleanup

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipvs: Defer ip_vs_ftp unregister during netns cleanup On the netns cleanup path, __ip_vs_ftp_exit() may unregister ip_vs_ftp before connections with valid cp->app pointers are flushed, leading to a use-after-free. Fix this by introducing a global `exiting_module` flag, set to true in ip_vs_ftp_exit() before unregistering the pernet subsystem. In __ip_vs_ftp_exit(), skip ip_vs_ftp unregister if called during netns cleanup (when exiting_module is false) and defer it to __ip_vs_cleanup_batch(), which unregisters all apps after all connections are flushed. riscv: move memblock_allow_resize() after linear mapping is ready

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: riscv: move memblock_allow_resize() after linear mapping is ready The initial memblock metadata is accessed from kernel image mapping. The regions arrays need to "reallocated" from memblock and accessed through linear mapping to cover more memblock regions. So the resizing should not be allowed until linear mapping is ready. Note that there are memblock allocations when building linear mapping. This patch is similar to 24cc61d8cb5a ("arm64: memblock: don't permit memblock resizing until linear mapping is up").
