  1. CVE-2026-112276

    Medium · CVSS 6.9EPSS 0.2%No fix published

Netpbm through 11.16.00 Heap Out-of-Bounds Read via rasttopnm Colormap

Netpbm through 11.16.00 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in rasttopnm that allows attackers to read heap memory by supplying Sun rasterfiles with short colormaps. Attackers can craft colormapped rasterfiles with pixel bytes exceeding the palette length to leak up to 255 adjacent heap bytes into the PNM output or crash the program.

  2. CVE-2026-112275

    Medium · CVSS 6.9EPSS 0.13%No fix published

Netpbm through 11.16.00 Heap Out-of-Bounds Write via rasttopnm pr_load_image

Netpbm through 11.16.00 contains a heap out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the rasttopnm Sun rasterfile run-length decoder pr_load_image in converter/other/rast.c. Attackers can supply a byte-encoded rasterfile with tiny dimensions and a long run-length body to write controlled bytes past md_image, causing memory corruption and crashes.

  3. CVE-2009-4274

    Not ratedEPSS 4.54%Fix available

    CVE-2009-4274

Stack-based buffer overflow in converter/ppm/xpmtoppm.c in netpbm before 10.47.07 allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code via an XPM image file that contains a crafted header field associated with a large color index value.
