USB: core: Fix deadlock in usb_deauthorize_interface()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: USB: core: Fix deadlock in usb_deauthorize_interface() Among the attribute file callback routines in drivers/usb/core/sysfs.c, the interface_authorized_store() function is the only one which acquires a device lock on an ancestor device: It calls usb_deauthorize_interface(), which locks the interface's parent USB device. The will lead to deadlock if another process already owns that lock and tries to remove the interface, whether through a configuration change or because the device has been disconnected. As part of the removal procedure, device_del() waits for all ongoing

    scsi: core: Fix a use-after-free

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: core: Fix a use-after-free There are two .exit_cmd_priv implementations. Both implementations use resources associated with the SCSI host. Make sure that these resources are still available when .exit_cmd_priv is called by waiting inside scsi_remove_host() until the tag set has been freed. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/i915/gem: Really move i915_gem_context.link under ref protection i915_perf assumes that it can use the i915_gem_context reference to protect its i915->gem.contexts.list iteration. However, this requires that we do not remove the context from the list until after we drop the final reference and release the struct. If, as currently, we remove the context from the list during context_close(), the link.next pointer may be poisoned while we are holding the context reference and cause a GPF: [ 4070.573157] i915 0000:00:02.0: [drm:i915_perf_open_ioctl [i915]] filtering on ctx

mm: slub: fix flush_cpu_slab()/__free_slab() invocations in task context.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm: slub: fix flush_cpu_slab()/__free_slab() invocations in task context. Commit 5a836bf6b09f ("mm: slub: move flush_cpu_slab() invocations __free_slab() invocations out of IRQ context") moved all flush_cpu_slab() invocations to the global workqueue to avoid a problem related with deactivate_slab()/__free_slab() being called from an IRQ context on PREEMPT_RT kernels. When the flush_all_cpu_locked() function is called from a task context it may happen that a workqueue with WQ_MEM_RECLAIM bit set ends up flushing the global workqueue, this will cause a dependency issue. wo

arm64: topology: fix possible overflow in amu_fie_setup()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64: topology: fix possible overflow in amu_fie_setup() cpufreq_get_hw_max_freq() returns max frequency in kHz as *unsigned int*, while freq_inv_set_max_ratio() gets passed this frequency in Hz as 'u64'. Multiplying max frequency by 1000 can potentially result in overflow -- multiplying by 1000ULL instead should avoid that... sfc: fix null pointer dereference in efx_hard_start_xmit

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sfc: fix null pointer dereference in efx_hard_start_xmit Trying to get the channel from the tx_queue variable here is wrong because we can only be here if tx_queue is NULL, so we shouldn't dereference it. As the above comment in the code says, this is very unlikely to happen, but it's wrong anyway so let's fix it. I hit this issue because of a different bug that caused tx_queue to be NULL. If that happens, this is the error message that we get here: BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 0000000000000020 [...] RIP: 0010:efx_hard_start_xmit+0x153/0x1

sfc: fix TX channel offset when using legacy interrupts

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sfc: fix TX channel offset when using legacy interrupts In legacy interrupt mode the tx_channel_offset was hardcoded to 1, but that's not correct if efx_sepparate_tx_channels is false. In that case, the offset is 0 because the tx queues are in the single existing channel at index 0, together with the rx queue. Without this fix, as soon as you try to send any traffic, it tries to get the tx queues from an uninitialized channel getting these errors: WARNING: CPU: 1 PID: 0 at drivers/net/ethernet/sfc/tx.c:540 efx_hard_start_xmit+0x12e/0x170 [sfc] [...] RIP: 0010:efx_har

The taprio qdisc does not fully acknowledge this when it attempts full offload, because it starts off with q->flags = TAPRIO_FLAGS_INVALID in taprio_init(), then it replaces q->flags with TCA_TAPRIO_ATTR_FLAGS parsed from netlink (in t
