media: dvb-usb: fix memory leak in dvb_usb_adapter_init()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: dvb-usb: fix memory leak in dvb_usb_adapter_init() Syzbot reports a memory leak in "dvb_usb_adapter_init()". The leak is due to not accounting for and freeing current iteration's adapter->priv in case of an error. Currently if an error occurs, it will exit before incrementing "num_adapters_initalized", which is used as a reference counter to free all adap->priv in "dvb_usb_adapter_exit()". There are multiple error paths that can exit from before incrementing the counter. Including the error handling paths for "dvb_usb_adapter_stream_init()", "dvb_usb_adapter_dvb_init

serial: amba-pl011: avoid SBSA UART accessing DMACR register

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: amba-pl011: avoid SBSA UART accessing DMACR register Chapter "B Generic UART" in "ARM Server Base System Architecture" [1] documentation describes a generic UART interface. Such generic UART does not support DMA. In current code, sbsa_uart_pops and amba_pl011_pops share the same stop_rx operation, which will invoke pl011_dma_rx_stop, leading to an access of the DMACR register. This commit adds a using_rx_dma check in pl011_dma_rx_stop to avoid the access to DMACR register for SBSA UARTs which does not support DMA. When the kernel enables DMA engine with "CONFIG_DMA

net: netsec: fix error handling in netsec_register_mdio()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: netsec: fix error handling in netsec_register_mdio() If phy_device_register() fails, phy_device_free() need be called to put refcount, so memory of phy device and device name can be freed in callback function. If get_phy_device() fails, mdiobus_unregister() need be called, or it will cause warning in mdiobus_free() and kobject is leaked.

mmc: meson-gx: fix return value check of mmc_add_host()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mmc: meson-gx: fix return value check of mmc_add_host() mmc_add_host() may return error, if we ignore its return value, it will lead two issues: 1. The memory that allocated in mmc_alloc_host() is leaked. 2. In the remove() path, mmc_remove_host() will be called to delete device, but it's not added yet, it will lead a kernel crash because of null-ptr-deref in device_del(). Fix this by checking the return value and goto error path which will call mmc_free_host().

soc: qcom: qmi_encdec: Restrict string length in decode

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: soc: qcom: qmi_encdec: Restrict string length in decode The QMI TLV value for strings in a lot of qmi element info structures account for null terminated strings with MAX_LEN + 1. If a string is actually MAX_LEN + 1 length, this will cause an out of bounds access when the NULL character is appended in decoding.

posix-timers: Ensure timer ID search-loop limit is valid

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: posix-timers: Ensure timer ID search-loop limit is valid posix_timer_add() tries to allocate a posix timer ID by starting from the cached ID which was stored by the last successful allocation. This is done in a loop searching the ID space for a free slot one by one. The loop has to terminate when the search wrapped around to the starting point. But that's racy vs. establishing the starting point. That is read out lockless, which leads to the following problem: CPU0 CPU1 posix_timer_add() start = sig->posix_timer_id; lock(hash_lock); ... pos

drm/amdgpu: disable sdma ecc irq only when sdma RAS is enabled in suspend

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: disable sdma ecc irq only when sdma RAS is enabled in suspend sdma_v4_0_ip is shared on a few asics, but in sdma_v4_0_hw_fini, driver unconditionally disables ecc_irq which is only enabled on those asics enabling sdma ecc. This will introduce a warning in suspend cycle on those chips with sdma ip v4.0, while without sdma ecc. So this patch correct this. wifi: brcmfmac: cfg80211: Pass the PMK in binary instead of hex

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: brcmfmac: cfg80211: Pass the PMK in binary instead of hex Apparently the hex passphrase mechanism does not work on newer chips/firmware (e.g. BCM4387). It seems there was a simple way of passing it in binary all along, so use that and avoid the hexification. OpenBSD has been doing it like this from the beginning, so this should work on all chips. Also clear the structure before setting the PMK. This was leaking uninitialized stack contents to the device.
