    drm/gma500: Fix BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context errors

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/gma500: Fix BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context errors gma_crtc_page_flip() was holding the event_lock spinlock while calling crtc_funcs->mode_set_base() which takes ww_mutex. The only reason to hold event_lock is to clear gma_crtc->page_flip_event on mode_set_base() errors. Instead unlock it after setting gma_crtc->page_flip_event and on errors re-take the lock and clear gma_crtc->page_flip_event it it is still set. This fixes the following WARN/stacktrace: [ 512.122953] BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context at kernel/locking/mutex.c:87

    ext4: fix bug in extents parsing when eh_entries == 0 and eh_depth > 0

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: fix bug in extents parsing when eh_entries == 0 and eh_depth > 0 When walking through an inode extents, the ext4_ext_binsearch_idx() function assumes that the extent header has been previously validated. However, there are no checks that verify that the number of entries (eh->eh_entries) is non-zero when depth is > 0. And this will lead to problems because the EXT_FIRST_INDEX() and EXT_LAST_INDEX() will return garbage and result in this: [ 135.245946] ------------[ cut here ]------------ [ 135.247579] kernel BUG at fs/ext4/extents.c:2258! binder: check offset alignment in binder_get_object()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: binder: check offset alignment in binder_get_object() Commit 6d98eb95b450 ("binder: avoid potential data leakage when copying txn") introduced changes to how binder objects are copied. In doing so, it unintentionally removed an offset alignment check done through calls to binder_alloc_copy_from_buffer() -> check_buffer(). These calls were replaced in binder_get_object() with copy_from_user(), so now an explicit offset alignment check is needed here. This avoids later complications when unwinding the objects gets harder. It is worth noting this check existed prior to commi

    netfilter: nf_tables: release mutex after nft_gc_seq_end from abort path

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: release mutex after nft_gc_seq_end from abort path The commit mutex should not be released during the critical section between nft_gc_seq_begin() and nft_gc_seq_end(), otherwise, async GC worker could collect expired objects and get the released commit lock within the same GC sequence. nf_tables_module_autoload() temporarily releases the mutex to load module dependencies, then it goes back to replay the transaction again. Move it at the end of the abort phase after nft_gc_seq_end() is called.

    inet: inet_defrag: prevent sk release while still in use

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: inet: inet_defrag: prevent sk release while still in use ip_local_out() and other functions can pass skb->sk as function argument. If the skb is a fragment and reassembly happens before such function call returns, the sk must not be released. This affects skb fragments reassembled via netfilter or similar modules, e.g. openvswitch or ct_act.c, when run as part of tx pipeline. Eric Dumazet made an initial analysis of this bug. Quoting Eric: Calling ip_defrag() in output path is also implying skb_orphan(), which is buggy because output path relies on sk not disappeari

This commit causes interrupts to be lost for FCoE devices, since it changed sping locks from "bh" to "irqsave". Instead, a work queue should be used, and will be addressed in a separate commit.

    Revert "drm/amd: flush any delayed gfxoff on suspend entry"

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Revert "drm/amd: flush any delayed gfxoff on suspend entry" commit ab4750332dbe ("drm/amdgpu/sdma5.2: add begin/end_use ring callbacks") caused GFXOFF control to be used more heavily and the codepath that was removed from commit 0dee72639533 ("drm/amd: flush any delayed gfxoff on suspend entry") now can be exercised at suspend again. Users report that by using GNOME to suspend the lockscreen trigger will cause SDMA traffic and the system can deadlock. This reverts commit 0dee726395333fea833eaaf838bc80962df886c8.

    netfilter: ipset: fix performance regression in swap operation

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: ipset: fix performance regression in swap operation The patch "netfilter: ipset: fix race condition between swap/destroy and kernel side add/del/test", commit 28628fa9 fixes a race condition. But the synchronize_rcu() added to the swap function unnecessarily slows it down: it can safely be moved to destroy and use call_rcu() instead. Eric Dumazet pointed out that simply calling the destroy functions as rcu callback does not work: sets with timeout use garbage collectors which need cancelling at destroy which can wait. Therefore the destroy functions are split in

    pmdomain: mediatek: fix race conditions with genpd

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pmdomain: mediatek: fix race conditions with genpd If the power domains are registered first with genpd and *after that* the driver attempts to power them on in the probe sequence, then it is possible that a race condition occurs if genpd tries to power them on in the same time. The same is valid for powering them off before unregistering them from genpd. Attempt to fix race conditions by first removing the domains from genpd and *after that* powering down domains. Also first power up the domains and *after that* register them to genpd.

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: rfcomm: Fix null-ptr-deref in rfcomm_check_security During our fuzz testing of the connection and disconnection process at the RFCOMM layer, we discovered this bug. By comparing the packets from a normal connection and disconnection process with the testcase that triggered a KASAN report. We analyzed the cause of this bug as follows: 1. In the packets captured during a normal connection, the host sends a `Read Encryption Key Size` type of `HCI_CMD` packet (Command Opcode: 0x1408) to the controller to inquire the length of encryption key.After receiving this pack
