udf: Fix preallocation discarding at indirect extent boundary

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udf: Fix preallocation discarding at indirect extent boundary When preallocation extent is the first one in the extent block, the code would corrupt extent tree header instead. Fix the problem and use udf_delete_aext() for deleting extent to avoid some code duplication.

RDMA/rtrs-srv: Avoid null pointer deref during path establishment

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/rtrs-srv: Avoid null pointer deref during path establishment For RTRS path establishment, RTRS client initiates and completes con_num of connections. After establishing all its connections, the information is exchanged between the client and server through the info_req message. During this exchange, it is essential that all connections have been established, and the state of the RTRS srv path is CONNECTED. So add these sanity checks, to make sure we detect and abort process in error scenarios to avoid null pointer deref.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntb: ntb_hw_switchtec: Fix use after free vulnerability in switchtec_ntb_remove due to race condition In the switchtec_ntb_add function, it can call switchtec_ntb_init_sndev function, then &sndev->check_link_status_work is bound with check_link_status_work. switchtec_ntb_link_notification may be called to start the work. If we remove the module which will call switchtec_ntb_remove to make cleanup, it will free sndev through kfree(sndev), while the work mentioned above will be used. serial: protect uart_port_dtr_rts() in uart_shutdown() too

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: protect uart_port_dtr_rts() in uart_shutdown() too Commit af224ca2df29 (serial: core: Prevent unsafe uart port access, part 3) added few uport == NULL checks. It added one to uart_shutdown(), so the commit assumes, uport can be NULL in there. But right after that protection, there is an unprotected "uart_port_dtr_rts(uport, false);" call. That is invoked only if HUPCL is set, so I assume that is the reason why we do not see lots of these reports. Or it cannot be NULL at this point at all for some reason :P. Until the above is investigated, stay on the safe side an

This happens during the check for fragmentation in br_nf_dev_queue_xmit. It is dependent on: 1) the br_netfilter module being loaded; 2) net.bridge.bridge-nf-call-iptables set to 1; 3) a bridge with a VxLAN (single-vxlan-device) netdevice as a bridge port; 4) untagged frames with size higher than the VxLAN MTU forwarded/flooded When forwarding the untagged packet to the VxLAN bridge port, before the netfilter hooks are ca

i40e: Fix macvlan leak by synchronizing access to mac_filter_hash

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i40e: Fix macvlan leak by synchronizing access to mac_filter_hash This patch addresses a macvlan leak issue in the i40e driver caused by concurrent access to vsi->mac_filter_hash. The leak occurs when multiple threads attempt to modify the mac_filter_hash simultaneously, leading to inconsistent state and potential memory leaks. To fix this, we now wrap the calls to i40e_del_mac_filter() and zeroing vf->default_lan_addr.addr with spin_lock/unlock_bh(&vsi->mac_filter_hash_lock), ensuring atomic operations and preventing concurrent access. Additionally, we add lockdep_assert

igb: Do not bring the device up after non-fatal error

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: igb: Do not bring the device up after non-fatal error Commit 004d25060c78 ("igb: Fix igb_down hung on surprise removal") changed igb_io_error_detected() to ignore non-fatal pcie errors in order to avoid hung task that can happen when igb_down() is called multiple times. This caused an issue when processing transient non-fatal errors. igb_io_resume(), which is called after igb_io_error_detected(), assumes that device is brought down by igb_io_error_detected() if the interface is up. This resulted in panic with stacktrace below. [ T3256] igb 0000:09:00.0 haeth0: igb: haeth0

net/sched: accept TCA_STAB only for root qdisc

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: accept TCA_STAB only for root qdisc Most qdiscs maintain their backlog using qdisc_pkt_len(skb) on the assumption it is invariant between the enqueue() and dequeue() handlers. Unfortunately syzbot can crash a host rather easily using a TBF + SFQ combination, with an STAB on SFQ [1] We can't support TCA_STAB on arbitrary level, this would require to maintain per-qdisc storage. kthread: unpark only parked kthread

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kthread: unpark only parked kthread Calling into kthread unparking unconditionally is mostly harmless when the kthread is already unparked. The wake up is then simply ignored because the target is not in TASK_PARKED state. However if the kthread is per CPU, the wake up is preceded by a call to kthread_bind() which expects the task to be inactive and in TASK_PARKED state, which obviously isn't the case if it is unparked. As a result, calling kthread_stop() on an unparked per-cpu kthread triggers such a warning: WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 11 at kernel/kthread.c:525 __kthread_bi

If the process is killed by user(See signal handling in dax_iomap_iter()), the copied data will be returned and added on inode size, which means that the length of written extents may exceed the inode size, then fsck will fail. An example is given as: dd if=/dev/urandom of=file bs=4M count=1 dax_iomap_rw iomap_iter // round 1 ext4_iomap_begin ext4_iomap_alloc // allocate 0~2M extents(wri
