mmc: atmel-mci: fix return value check of mmc_add_host()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mmc: atmel-mci: fix return value check of mmc_add_host() mmc_add_host() may return error, if we ignore its return value, it will lead two issues: 1. The memory that allocated in mmc_alloc_host() is leaked. 2. In the remove() path, mmc_remove_host() will be called to delete device, but it's not added yet, it will lead a kernel crash because of null-ptr-deref in device_del(). So fix this by checking the return value and calling mmc_free_host() in the error path.

uio: uio_dmem_genirq: Fix missing unlock in irq configuration

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: uio: uio_dmem_genirq: Fix missing unlock in irq configuration Commit b74351287d4b ("uio: fix a sleep-in-atomic-context bug in uio_dmem_genirq_irqcontrol()") started calling disable_irq() without holding the spinlock because it can sleep. However, that fix introduced another bug: if interrupt is already disabled and a new disable request comes in, then the spinlock is not unlocked: root@localhost:~# printf '\x00\x00\x00\x00' > /dev/uio0 root@localhost:~# printf '\x00\x00\x00\x00' > /dev/uio0 root@localhost:~# [ 14.851538] BUG: scheduling while atomic: bash/223/0x00000002

scsi: hpsa: Fix possible memory leak in hpsa_init_one()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: hpsa: Fix possible memory leak in hpsa_init_one() The hpda_alloc_ctlr_info() allocates h and its field reply_map. However, in hpsa_init_one(), if alloc_percpu() failed, the hpsa_init_one() jumps to clean1 directly, which frees h and leaks the h->reply_map. Fix by calling hpda_free_ctlr_info() to release h->replay_map and h instead free h directly.

EDAC/i10nm: fix refcount leak in pci_get_dev_wrapper()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: EDAC/i10nm: fix refcount leak in pci_get_dev_wrapper() As the comment of pci_get_domain_bus_and_slot() says, it returns a PCI device with refcount incremented, so it doesn't need to call an extra pci_dev_get() in pci_get_dev_wrapper(), and the PCI device needs to be put in the error path.

platform/chrome: cros_ec_typec: zero out stale pointers

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: platform/chrome: cros_ec_typec: zero out stale pointers `cros_typec_get_switch_handles` allocates four pointers when obtaining type-c switch handles. These pointers are all freed if failing to obtain any of them; therefore, pointers in `port` become stale. The stale pointers eventually cause use-after-free or double free in later code paths. Zeroing out all pointer fields after freeing to eliminate these stale pointers.

PCI: Fix pci_device_is_present() for VFs by checking PF

Check the PF instead. Wei Gong reported that if virtio I/O is in progress when the driver is unbound or "0" is written to /sys/.../sriov_numvfs, the virtio I/O operation hangs, which may result in output like this: task:bash state:D stack: 0 pid: 1773 ppid: 1241 flags:0x00004002 Call Trace: schedule+0x4f/0xc0 blk_mq_freeze_queue_wait+0x69/0xa0

KVM: VMX: Fix crash due to uninitialized current_vmcs

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: VMX: Fix crash due to uninitialized current_vmcs KVM enables 'Enlightened VMCS' and 'Enlightened MSR Bitmap' when running as a nested hypervisor on top of Hyper-V. When MSR bitmap is updated, evmcs_touch_msr_bitmap function uses current_vmcs per-cpu variable to mark that the msr bitmap was changed. vmx_vcpu_create() modifies the msr bitmap via vmx_disable_intercept_for_msr -> vmx_msr_bitmap_l01_changed which in the end calls this function. The function checks for current_vmcs if it is null but the check is insufficient because current_vmcs is not initialized. Because

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: lpfc: Fix ioremap issues in lpfc_sli4_pci_mem_setup() When if_type equals zero and pci_resource_start(pdev, PCI_64BIT_BAR4) returns false, drbl_regs_memmap_p is not remapped. This passes a NULL pointer to iounmap(), which can trigger a WARN() on certain arches. When if_type equals six and pci_resource_start(pdev, PCI_64BIT_BAR4) returns true, drbl_regs_memmap_p may has been remapped and ctrl_regs_memmap_p is not remapped. This is a resource leak and passes a NULL pointer to iounmap(). To fix these issues, we need to add null checks before iounmap(), and change some

Because of that, the struct vc_data pointer must be reloaded in the while loop in vcs_write() after console_lock() to avoid a UAF when vcs_size() is called. Syzkaller reported a UAF in vcs_size(). s390/vfio-ap: fix memory leak in vfio_ap device driver

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/vfio-ap: fix memory leak in vfio_ap device driver The device release callback function invoked to release the matrix device uses the dev_get_drvdata(device *dev) function to retrieve the pointer to the vfio_matrix_dev object in order to free its storage. The problem is, this object is not stored as drvdata with the device; since the kfree function will accept a NULL pointer, the memory for the vfio_matrix_dev object is never freed. Since the device being released is contained within the vfio_matrix_dev object, the container_of macro will be used to retrieve its pointe
