tty: serial: fsl_lpuart: disable dma rx/tx use flags in lpuart_dma_shutdown

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tty: serial: fsl_lpuart: disable dma rx/tx use flags in lpuart_dma_shutdown lpuart_dma_shutdown tears down lpuart dma, but lpuart_flush_buffer can still occur which in turn tries to access dma apis if lpuart_dma_tx_use flag is true. At this point since dma is torn down, these dma apis can abort. Set lpuart_dma_tx_use and the corresponding rx flag lpuart_dma_rx_use to false in lpuart_dma_shutdown so that dmas are not accessed after they are relinquished. Otherwise, when try to kill btattach, kernel may panic. This patch may fix this issue. root@imx8ulpevk:~# btattach -B /de

    md/raid10: check slab-out-of-bounds in md_bitmap_get_counter

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md/raid10: check slab-out-of-bounds in md_bitmap_get_counter If we write a large number to md/bitmap_set_bits, md_bitmap_checkpage() will return -EINVAL because 'page >= bitmap->pages', but the return value was not checked immediately in md_bitmap_get_counter() in order to set *blocks value and slab-out-of-bounds occurs. Move check of 'page >= bitmap->pages' to md_bitmap_get_counter() and return directly if true.

skbuff: skb_segment, Call zero copy functions before using skbuff frags

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: skbuff: skb_segment, Call zero copy functions before using skbuff frags Commit bf5c25d60861 ("skbuff: in skb_segment, call zerocopy functions once per nskb") added the call to zero copy functions in skb_segment(). The change introduced a bug in skb_segment() because skb_orphan_frags() may possibly change the number of fragments or allocate new fragments altogether leaving nrfrags and frag to point to the old values. This can cause a panic with stacktrace like the one below. [ 193.894380] BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 00000000000000bc [ 193.895273] CPU: 1

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kernel/fail_function: fix memory leak with using debugfs_lookup() When calling debugfs_lookup() the result must have dput() called on it, otherwise the memory will leak over time. To make things simpler, just call debugfs_lookup_and_remove() instead which handles all of the logic at once.

lwt: Fix return values of BPF xmit ops

At the xmit hook, such return values would be treated implicitly as LWTUNNEL_XMIT_CONTINUE in ip(6)_finish_output2. When this happens, skbs that have been freed would continue to the neighbor subsystem, causing use-after-free bug and kernel crashes. To fix the incorrect behavior, skb_do_redirect return values can be simply discarded, the same as tc-egress be

nilfs2: do not write dirty data after degenerating to read-only

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nilfs2: do not write dirty data after degenerating to read-only According to syzbot's report, mark_buffer_dirty() called from nilfs_segctor_do_construct() outputs a warning with some patterns after nilfs2 detects metadata corruption and degrades to read-only mode. After such read-only degeneration, page cache data may be cleared through nilfs_clear_dirty_page() which may also clear the uptodate flag for their buffer heads. However, even after the degeneration, log writes are still performed by unmount processing etc., which causes mark_buffer_dirty() to be called for buff

fs: fix UAF/GPF bug in nilfs_mdt_destroy

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs: fix UAF/GPF bug in nilfs_mdt_destroy In alloc_inode, inode_init_always() could return -ENOMEM if security_inode_alloc() fails, which causes inode->i_private uninitialized. Then nilfs_is_metadata_file_inode() returns true and nilfs_free_inode() wrongly calls nilfs_mdt_destroy(), which frees the uninitialized inode->i_private and leads to crashes(e.g., UAF/GPF). Fix this by moving security_inode_alloc just prior to this_cpu_inc(nr_inodes)

staging: vt6655: fix some erroneous memory clean-up loops

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: vt6655: fix some erroneous memory clean-up loops In some initialization functions of this driver, memory is allocated with 'i' acting as an index variable and increasing from 0. The commit in "Fixes" introduces some clean-up codes in case of allocation failure, which free memory in reverse order with 'i' decreasing to 0. However, there are some problems: - The case i=0 is left out. Thus memory is leaked. - In case memory allocation fails right from the start, the memory freeing loops will start with i=-1 and invalid memory locations will be accessed. O
