netfilter: nf_conntrack_helper: pass helper to expect cleanup

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack_helper: pass helper to expect cleanup nf_conntrack_helper_unregister() calls nf_ct_expect_iterate_destroy() to remove expectations belonging to the helper being unregistered. However, it passes NULL instead of the helper pointer as the data argument, so expect_iter_me() never matches any expectation and all of them survive the cleanup. After unregister returns, nfnl_cthelper_del() frees the helper object immediately. Subsequent expectation dumps or packet-driven init_conntrack() calls then dereference the freed exp->helper, causing a use-after-free

netfilter: ctnetlink: zero expect NAT fields when CTA_EXPECT_NAT absent

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: ctnetlink: zero expect NAT fields when CTA_EXPECT_NAT absent ctnetlink_alloc_expect() allocates expectations from a non-zeroing slab cache via nf_ct_expect_alloc(). When CTA_EXPECT_NAT is not present in the netlink message, saved_addr and saved_proto are never initialized. Stale data from a previous slab occupant can then be dumped to userspace by ctnetlink_exp_dump_expect(), which checks these fields to decide whether to emit CTA_EXPECT_NAT. The safe sibling nf_ct_expect_init(), used by the packet path, explicitly zeroes these fields. Zero saved_addr, saved_

netfilter: ctnetlink: ignore explicit helper on new expectations

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: ctnetlink: ignore explicit helper on new expectations Use the existing master conntrack helper, anything else is not really supported and it just makes validation more complicated, so just ignore what helper userspace suggests for this expectation. This was uncovered when validating CTA_EXPECT_CLASS via different helper provided by userspace than the existing master conntrack helper: BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in nf_ct_expect_related_report+0x2479/0x27c0 Read of size 4 at addr ffff8880043fe408 by task poc/102 Call Trace: nf_ct_expect_related_report

netfilter: nf_tables: reject immediate NF_QUEUE verdict

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: reject immediate NF_QUEUE verdict nft_queue is always used from userspace nftables to deliver the NF_QUEUE verdict. Immediately emitting an NF_QUEUE verdict is never used by the userspace nft tools, so reject immediate NF_QUEUE verdicts. The arp family does not provide queue support, but such an immediate verdict is still reachable. Globally reject NF_QUEUE immediate verdicts to address this issue.

Bluetooth: MGMT: validate LTK enc_size on load

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: MGMT: validate LTK enc_size on load Load Long Term Keys stores the user-provided enc_size and later uses it to size fixed-size stack operations when replying to LE LTK requests. An enc_size larger than the 16-byte key buffer can therefore overflow the reply stack buffer. Reject oversized enc_size values while validating the management LTK record so invalid keys never reach the stored key state.

This error propagates back through the call chain: x25_queue_rx_frame returns 1 | v x25_state3_machine receives the return value 1 and takes the else branch at line 278, setting queued=0 and returning 0 | v x25_process_rx_frame returns queued=0 | v x25_backlog_rcv at line 452 sees queued=0 and calls kfree_skb(skb) again This would free the same skb twice. bpf: Fix incorrect pruning due to atomic fetch precision tracking

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix incorrect pruning due to atomic fetch precision tracking When backtrack_insn encounters a BPF_STX instruction with BPF_ATOMIC and BPF_FETCH, the src register (or r0 for BPF_CMPXCHG) also acts as a destination, thus receiving the old value from the memory location. The current backtracking logic does not account for this. It treats atomic fetch operations the same as regular stores where the src register is only an input. This leads the backtrack_insn to fail to propagate precision to the stack location, which is then not marked as precise! Later, the verifier's p

drm/ioc32: stop speculation on the drm_compat_ioctl path

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/ioc32: stop speculation on the drm_compat_ioctl path The drm compat ioctl path takes a user controlled pointer, and then dereferences it into a table of function pointers, the signature method of spectre problems. Fix this up by calling array_index_nospec() on the index to the function pointer list.

wifi: wilc1000: fix u8 overflow in SSID scan buffer size calculation

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: wilc1000: fix u8 overflow in SSID scan buffer size calculation The variable valuesize is declared as u8 but accumulates the total length of all SSIDs to scan. Each SSID contributes up to 33 bytes (IEEE80211_MAX_SSID_LEN + 1), and with WILC_MAX_NUM_PROBED_SSID (10) SSIDs the total can reach 330, which wraps around to 74 when stored in a u8. This causes kmalloc to allocate only 75 bytes while the subsequent memcpy writes up to 331 bytes into the buffer, resulting in a 256-byte heap buffer overflow. Widen valuesize from u8 to u32 to accommodate the full range.

ALSA: caiaq: fix stack out-of-bounds read in init_card

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: caiaq: fix stack out-of-bounds read in init_card The loop creates a whitespace-stripped copy of the card shortname where `len < sizeof(card->id)` is used for the bounds check. Since sizeof(card->id) is 16 and the local id buffer is also 16 bytes, writing 16 non-space characters fills the entire buffer, overwriting the terminating nullbyte. When this non-null-terminated string is later passed to snd_card_set_id() -> copy_valid_id_string(), the function scans forward with `while (*nid && ...)` and reads past the end of the stack buffer, reading the contents of the stac

Bluetooth: SMP: derive legacy responder STK authentication from MITM state

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: SMP: derive legacy responder STK authentication from MITM state The legacy responder path in smp_random() currently labels the stored STK as authenticated whenever pending_sec_level is BT_SECURITY_HIGH. That reflects what the local service requested, not what the pairing flow actually achieved. For Just Works/Confirm legacy pairing, SMP_FLAG_MITM_AUTH stays clear and the resulting STK should remain unauthenticated even if the local side requested HIGH security. Use the established MITM state when storing the responder STK so the key metadata matches the pairing

Bluetooth: hci_event: move wake reason storage into validated event handlers

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_event: move wake reason storage into validated event handlers hci_store_wake_reason() is called from hci_event_packet() immediately after stripping the HCI event header but before hci_event_func() enforces the per-event minimum payload length from hci_ev_table. This means a short HCI event frame can reach bacpy() before any bounds check runs. Rather than duplicating skb parsing and per-event length checks inside hci_store_wake_reason(), move wake-address storage into the individual event handlers after their existing event-length validation has succeeded. hwmon: (occ) Fix division by zero in occ_show_power_1()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (occ) Fix division by zero in occ_show_power_1() In occ_show_power_1() case 1, the accumulator is divided by update_tag without checking for zero. If no samples have been collected yet (e.g. during early boot when the sensor block is included but hasn't been updated), update_tag is zero, causing a kernel divide-by-zero crash. The 2019 fix in commit 211186cae14d ("hwmon: (occ) Fix division by zero issue") only addressed occ_get_powr_avg() used by occ_show_power_2() and occ_show_power_a0(). iio: adc: ti-adc161s626: use DMA-safe memory for spi_read()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: adc: ti-adc161s626: use DMA-safe memory for spi_read() Add a DMA-safe buffer and use it for spi_read() instead of a stack memory. All SPI buffers must be DMA-safe. Since we only need up to 3 bytes, we just use a u8[] instead of __be16 and __be32 and change the conversion functions appropriately.
