wifi: iwl4965: Add missing check for create_singlethread_workqueue()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: iwl4965: Add missing check for create_singlethread_workqueue() Add the check for the return value of the create_singlethread_workqueue() in order to avoid NULL pointer dereference.

md/raid10: fix leak of 'r10bio->remaining' for recovery

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md/raid10: fix leak of 'r10bio->remaining' for recovery raid10_sync_request() will add 'r10bio->remaining' for both rdev and replacement rdev. However, if the read io fails, recovery_request_write() returns without issuing the write io, in this case, end_sync_request() is only called once and 'remaining' is leaked, cause an io hang. Fix the problem by decreasing 'remaining' according to if 'bio' and 'repl_bio' is valid.

nfc: fix memory leak of se_io context in nfc_genl_se_io

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: fix memory leak of se_io context in nfc_genl_se_io The callback context for sending/receiving APDUs to/from the selected secure element is allocated inside nfc_genl_se_io and supposed to be eventually freed in se_io_cb callback function. However, there are several error paths where the bwi_timer is not charged to call se_io_cb later, and the cb_context is leaked. The patch proposes to free the cb_context explicitly on those error paths. At the moment we can't simply check 'dev->ops->se_io()' return value as it may be negative in both cases: when the timer was charged

udf: Do not update file length for failed writes to inline files

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udf: Do not update file length for failed writes to inline files When write to inline file fails (or happens only partly), we still updated length of inline data as if the whole write succeeded. Fix the update of length of inline data to happen only if the write succeeds.

ext4: add bounds checking in get_max_inline_xattr_value_size()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: add bounds checking in get_max_inline_xattr_value_size() Normally the extended attributes in the inode body would have been checked when the inode is first opened, but if someone is writing to the block device while the file system is mounted, it's possible for the inode table to get corrupted. Add bounds checking to avoid reading beyond the end of allocated memory if this happens.

cacheinfo: Fix shared_cpu_map to handle shared caches at different levels

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cacheinfo: Fix shared_cpu_map to handle shared caches at different levels The cacheinfo sets up the shared_cpu_map by checking whether the caches with the same index are shared between CPUs. However, this will trigger slab-out-of-bounds access if the CPUs do not have the same cache hierarchy. Another problem is the mismatched shared_cpu_map when the shared cache does not have the same index between CPUs. CPU0 I D L3 index 0 1 2 x ^ ^ ^ ^ index 0 1 2 3 CPU1 I D L2 L3 This patch checks each cache is shared with all caches on other CPUs.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: install stub fence into potential unused fence pointers When using cpu to update page tables, vm update fences are unused. Install stub fence into these fence pointers instead of NULL to avoid NULL dereference when calling dma_fence_wait() on them.

media: pci: tw68: Fix null-ptr-deref bug in buf prepare and finish

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: pci: tw68: Fix null-ptr-deref bug in buf prepare and finish When the driver calls tw68_risc_buffer() to prepare the buffer, the function call dma_alloc_coherent may fail, resulting in a empty buffer buf->cpu. Later when we free the buffer or access the buffer, null ptr deref is triggered. This bug is similar to the following one: https://git.linuxtv.org/media_stage.git/commit/?id=2b064d91440b33fba5b452f2d1b31f13ae911d71. We believe the bug can be also dynamically triggered from user side. Similarly, we fix this by checking the return value of tw68_risc_buffer() and
