    sched/rt: Fix race in push_rt_task

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched/rt: Fix race in push_rt_task Overview ======== When a CPU chooses to call push_rt_task and picks a task to push to another CPU's runqueue then it will call find_lock_lowest_rq method which would take a double lock on both CPUs' runqueues. If one of the locks aren't readily available, it may lead to dropping the current runqueue lock and reacquiring both the locks at once. During this window it is possible that the task is already migrated and is running on some other CPU. These cases are already handled. However, if the task is migrated and has already been executed a

media: cxusb: no longer judge rbuf when the write fails

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: cxusb: no longer judge rbuf when the write fails syzbot reported a uninit-value in cxusb_i2c_xfer. [1] Only when the write operation of usb_bulk_msg() in dvb_usb_generic_rw() succeeds and rlen is greater than 0, the read operation of usb_bulk_msg() will be executed to read rlen bytes of data from the dvb device into the rbuf. In this case, although rlen is 1, the write operation failed which resulted in the dvb read operation not being executed, and ultimately variable i was not initialized. ext4: inline: fix len overflow in ext4_prepare_inline_data

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: inline: fix len overflow in ext4_prepare_inline_data When running the following code on an ext4 filesystem with inline_data feature enabled, it will lead to the bug below. fd = open("file1", O_RDWR | O_CREAT | O_TRUNC, 0666); ftruncate(fd, 30); pwrite(fd, "a", 1, (1UL << 40) + 5UL); That happens because write_begin will succeed as when ext4_generic_write_inline_data calls ext4_prepare_inline_data, pos + len will be truncated, leading to ext4_prepare_inline_data parameter to be 6 instead of 0x10000000006. Then, later when write_end is called,

If it is not protected by RCU read-critical region, when idr_for_each() calls radix_tree_node_free() through call_rcu() to free the radix_tree_node structure, the node will be freed immediately, and when reading the next node in radix_tree_for_each_slot(), the already freed memory may be read. atm: Revert atm_account_tx() if copy_from_iter_full() fails.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: atm: Revert atm_account_tx() if copy_from_iter_full() fails. In vcc_sendmsg(), we account skb->truesize to sk->sk_wmem_alloc by atm_account_tx(). It is expected to be reverted by atm_pop_raw() later called by vcc->dev->ops->send(vcc, skb). However, vcc_sendmsg() misses the same revert when copy_from_iter_full() fails, and then we will leak a socket. Let's factorise the revert part as atm_return_tx() and call it in the failure path. Note that the corresponding sk_wmem_alloc operation can be found in alloc_tx() as of the blamed commit. $ git blame -L:alloc_tx net/atm/c

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: atm: atmtcp: Free invalid length skb in atmtcp_c_send(). syzbot reported the splat below. [0] vcc_sendmsg() copies data passed from userspace to skb and passes it to vcc->dev->ops->send(). atmtcp_c_send() accesses skb->data as struct atmtcp_hdr after checking if skb->len is 0, but it's not enough. Also, when skb->len == 0, skb and sk (vcc) were leaked because dev_kfree_skb() is not called and sk_wmem_alloc adjustment is missing to revert atm_account_tx() in vcc_sendmsg(), which is expected to be done in atm_pop_raw(). wifi: ath9k_htc: Abort software beacon handling if disabled

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath9k_htc: Abort software beacon handling if disabled A malicious USB device can send a WMI_SWBA_EVENTID event from an ath9k_htc-managed device before beaconing has been enabled. This causes a device-by-zero error in the driver, leading to either a crash or an out of bounds read. Prevent this by aborting the handling in ath9k_htc_swba() if beacons are not enabled.
