    tcp: Fix data-races around sysctl_tcp_slow_start_after_idle.

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tcp: Fix data-races around sysctl_tcp_slow_start_after_idle. While reading sysctl_tcp_slow_start_after_idle, it can be changed concurrently. Thus, we need to add READ_ONCE() to its readers.

    KVM: Don't null dereference ops->destroy

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: Don't null dereference ops->destroy A KVM device cleanup happens in either of two callbacks: 1) destroy() which is called when the VM is being destroyed; 2) release() which is called when a device fd is closed. Most KVM devices use 1) but Book3s's interrupt controller KVM devices (XICS, XIVE, XIVE-native) use 2) as they need to close and reopen during the machine execution. The error handling in kvm_ioctl_create_device() assumes destroy() is always defined which leads to NULL dereference as discovered by Syzkaller. This adds a checks for destroy!=NULL and adds a miss

    crypto: qat - add param check for RSA

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: qat - add param check for RSA Reject requests with a source buffer that is bigger than the size of the key. This is to prevent a possible integer underflow that might happen when copying the source scatterlist into a linear buffer.

    Bluetooth: hci_qca: Use del_timer_sync() before freeing

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_qca: Use del_timer_sync() before freeing While looking at a crash report on a timer list being corrupted, which usually happens when a timer is freed while still active. This is commonly triggered by code calling del_timer() instead of del_timer_sync() just before freeing. One possible culprit is the hci_qca driver, which does exactly that. Eric mentioned that wake_retrans_timer could be rearmed via the work queue, so also move the destruction of the work queue before del_timer_sync().

    ALSA: usb-audio: Cancel pending work at closing a MIDI substream

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: usb-audio: Cancel pending work at closing a MIDI substream At closing a USB MIDI output substream, there might be still a pending work, which would eventually access the rawmidi runtime object that is being released. For fixing the race, make sure to cancel the pending work at closing.

    ALSA: jack: Access input_dev under mutex

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: jack: Access input_dev under mutex It is possible when using ASoC that input_dev is unregistered while calling snd_jack_report, which causes NULL pointer dereference. In order to prevent this serialize access to input_dev using mutex lock.

    scsi: lpfc: Protect memory leak for NPIV ports sending PLOGI_RJT

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: lpfc: Protect memory leak for NPIV ports sending PLOGI_RJT There is a potential memory leak in lpfc_ignore_els_cmpl() and lpfc_els_rsp_reject() that was allocated from NPIV PLOGI_RJT (lpfc_rcv_plogi()'s login_mbox). Check if cmdiocb->context_un.mbox was allocated in lpfc_ignore_els_cmpl(), and then free it back to phba->mbox_mem_pool along with mbox->ctx_buf for service parameters. For lpfc_els_rsp_reject() failure, free both the ctx_buf for service parameters and the login_mbox.

    loop: implement ->free_disk

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: loop: implement ->free_disk Ensure that the lo_device which is stored in the gendisk private data is valid until the gendisk is freed. Currently the loop driver uses a lot of effort to make sure a device is not freed when it is still in use, but to to fix a potential deadlock this will be relaxed a bit soon.

    md/bitmap: don't set sb values if can't pass sanity check

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md/bitmap: don't set sb values if can't pass sanity check If bitmap area contains invalid data, kernel will crash then mdadm triggers "Segmentation fault". This is cluster-md speical bug. In non-clustered env, mdadm will handle broken metadata case. In clustered array, only kernel space handles bitmap slot info. But even this bug only happened in clustered env, current sanity check is wrong, the code should be changed. How to trigger: (faulty injection) dd if=/dev/zero bs=1M count=1 oflag=direct of=/dev/sda dd if=/dev/zero bs=1M count=1 oflag=direct of=/dev/sdb mdadm -C /

    ath10k: skip ath10k_halt during suspend for driver state RESTARTING

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ath10k: skip ath10k_halt during suspend for driver state RESTARTING Double free crash is observed when FW recovery(caused by wmi timeout/crash) is followed by immediate suspend event. The FW recovery is triggered by ath10k_core_restart() which calls driver clean up via ath10k_halt(). When the suspend event occurs between the FW recovery, the restart worker thread is put into frozen state until suspend completes. The suspend event triggers ath10k_stop() which again triggers ath10k_halt() The double invocation of ath10k_halt() causes ath10k_htt_rx_free() to be called twice(No

    scsi: lpfc: Inhibit aborts if external loopback plug is inserted

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: lpfc: Inhibit aborts if external loopback plug is inserted After running a short external loopback test, when the external loopback is removed and a normal cable inserted that is directly connected to a target device, the system oops in the llpfc_set_rrq_active() routine. When the loopback was inserted an FLOGI was transmit. As we're looped back, we receive the FLOGI request. The FLOGI is ABTS'd as we recognize the same wppn thus understand it's a loopback. However, as the ABTS sends address information the port is not set to (fffffe), the ABTS is dropped on the wire
