nfc: fdp: Fix potential memory leak in fdp_nci_send()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: fdp: Fix potential memory leak in fdp_nci_send() fdp_nci_send() will call fdp_nci_i2c_write that will not free skb in the function. As a result, when fdp_nci_i2c_write() finished, the skb will memleak. fdp_nci_send() should free skb after fdp_nci_i2c_write() finished.

nfc: nxp-nci: Fix potential memory leak in nxp_nci_send()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: nxp-nci: Fix potential memory leak in nxp_nci_send() nxp_nci_send() will call nxp_nci_i2c_write(), and only free skb when nxp_nci_i2c_write() failed. However, even if the nxp_nci_i2c_write() run succeeds, the skb will not be freed in nxp_nci_i2c_write(). As the result, the skb will memleak. nxp_nci_send() should also free the skb when nxp_nci_i2c_write() succeeds.

btrfs: fix inode list leak during backref walking at find_parent_nodes()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: fix inode list leak during backref walking at find_parent_nodes() During backref walking, at find_parent_nodes(), if we are dealing with a data extent and we get an error while resolving the indirect backrefs, at resolve_indirect_refs(), or in the while loop that iterates over the refs in the direct refs rbtree, we end up leaking the inode lists attached to the direct refs we have in the direct refs rbtree that were not yet added to the refs ulist passed as argument to find_parent_nodes(). Since they were not yet added to the refs ulist and prelim_release() does not

    Bluetooth: L2CAP: Fix use-after-free caused by l2cap_reassemble_sdu

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: Fix use-after-free caused by l2cap_reassemble_sdu Fix the race condition between the following two flows that run in parallel: 1. l2cap_reassemble_sdu -> chan->ops->recv (l2cap_sock_recv_cb) -> __sock_queue_rcv_skb. 2. bt_sock_recvmsg -> skb_recv_datagram, skb_free_datagram. An SKB can be queued by the first flow and immediately dequeued and freed by the second flow, therefore the callers of l2cap_reassemble_sdu can't use the SKB after that function returns. However, some places continue accessing struct l2cap_ctrl that resides in the SKB's CB for a

ftrace: Fix use-after-free for dynamic ftrace_ops

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ftrace: Fix use-after-free for dynamic ftrace_ops KASAN reported a use-after-free with ftrace ops [1]. It was found from vmcore that perf had registered two ops with the same content successively, both dynamic. After unregistering the second ops, a use-after-free occurred. In ftrace_shutdown(), when the second ops is unregistered, the FTRACE_UPDATE_CALLS command is not set because there is another enabled ops with the same content. Also, both ops are dynamic and the ftrace callback function is ftrace_ops_list_func, so the FTRACE_UPDATE_TRACE_FUNC command will not be set.

hugetlbfs: don't delete error page from pagecache

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hugetlbfs: don't delete error page from pagecache This change is very similar to the change that was made for shmem [1], and it solves the same problem but for HugeTLBFS instead. Currently, when poison is found in a HugeTLB page, the page is removed from the page cache. That means that attempting to map or read that hugepage in the future will result in a new hugepage being allocated instead of notifying the user that the page was poisoned. As [1] states, this is effectively memory corruption. The fix is to leave the page in the page cache. If the user attempts to use

scsi: zfcp: Fix double free of FSF request when qdio send fails

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: zfcp: Fix double free of FSF request when qdio send fails We used to use the wrong type of integer in 'zfcp_fsf_req_send()' to cache the FSF request ID when sending a new FSF request. This is used in case the sending fails and we need to remove the request from our internal hash table again (so we don't keep an invalid reference and use it when we free the request again). In 'zfcp_fsf_req_send()' we used to cache the ID as 'int' (signed and 32 bit wide), but the rest of the zfcp code (and the firmware specification) handles the ID as 'unsigned long'/'u64' (unsigned a

    net/9p: use a dedicated spinlock for trans_fd

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/9p: use a dedicated spinlock for trans_fd Shamelessly copying the explanation from Tetsuo Handa's suggested patch[1] (slightly reworded): syzbot is reporting inconsistent lock state in p9_req_put()[2], for p9_tag_remove() from p9_req_put() from IRQ context is using spin_lock_irqsave() on "struct p9_client"->lock but trans_fd (not from IRQ context) is using spin_lock(). Since the locks actually protect different things in client.c and in trans_fd.c, just replace trans_fd.c's lock by a new one specific to the transport (client.c's protect the idr for fid/tag allocations,

wifi: at76c50x: fix use after free access in at76_disconnect

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: at76c50x: fix use after free access in at76_disconnect The memory pointed to by priv is freed at the end of at76_delete_device function (using ieee80211_free_hw). But the code then accesses the udev field of the freed object to put the USB device. This may also lead to a memory leak of the usb device. Fix this by using udev from interface.
