ftrace: Fix potential warning in trace_printk_seq during ftrace_dump

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ftrace: Fix potential warning in trace_printk_seq during ftrace_dump When calling ftrace_dump_one() concurrently with reading trace_pipe, a WARN_ON_ONCE() in trace_printk_seq() can be triggered due to a race condition. The issue occurs because: CPU0 (ftrace_dump) CPU1 (reader) echo z > /proc/sysrq-trigger !trace_empty(&iter) trace_iterator_reset(&iter) <- len = size = 0 cat /sys/kernel/tracing/trace_pipe trace_find_next_entry_inc(&iter) __find_next_entry ring_buffer_empty_cpu <- all empty

bnxt_en: Fix memory corruption when FW resources change during ifdown

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bnxt_en: Fix memory corruption when FW resources change during ifdown bnxt_set_dflt_rings() assumes that it is always called before any TC has been created. So it doesn't take bp->num_tc into account and assumes that it is always 0 or 1. In the FW resource or capability change scenario, the FW will return flags in bnxt_hwrm_if_change() that will cause the driver to reinitialize and call bnxt_cancel_reservations(). This will lead to bnxt_init_dflt_ring_mode() calling bnxt_set_dflt_rings() and bp->num_tc may be greater than 1. This will cause bp->tx_ring[] to be sized too

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: cdns3: Put the cdns set active part outside the spin lock The device may be scheduled during the resume process, so this cannot appear in atomic operations. Since pm_runtime_set_active will resume suppliers, put set active outside the spin lock, which is only used to protect the struct cdns data structure, otherwise the kernel will report the following warning: BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context at drivers/base/power/runtime.c:1163 in_atomic(): 1, irqs_disabled(): 0, non_block: 0, pid: 651, name: sh preempt_count: 1, expected: 0 RCU nest depth:

Drivers: vmbus: Check for channel allocation before looking up relids

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Drivers: vmbus: Check for channel allocation before looking up relids relid2channel() assumes vmbus channel array to be allocated when called. However, in cases such as kdump/kexec, not all relids will be reset by the host. When the second kernel boots and if the guest receives a vmbus interrupt during vmbus driver initialization before vmbus_connect() is called, before it finishes, or if it fails, the vmbus interrupt service routine is called which in turn calls relid2channel() and can cause a null pointer dereference. 9p: set req refcount to zero to avoid uninitialized usage

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: 9p: set req refcount to zero to avoid uninitialized usage When a new request is allocated, the refcount will be zero if it is reused, but if the request is newly allocated from slab, it is not fully initialized before being added to idr. If the p9_read_work got a response before the refcount initiated. It will use a uninitialized req, which will result in a bad request data struct. Here is the logs from syzbot. cacheinfo: Fix shared_cpu_map to handle shared caches at different levels

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cacheinfo: Fix shared_cpu_map to handle shared caches at different levels The cacheinfo sets up the shared_cpu_map by checking whether the caches with the same index are shared between CPUs. However, this will trigger slab-out-of-bounds access if the CPUs do not have the same cache hierarchy. Another problem is the mismatched shared_cpu_map when the shared cache does not have the same index between CPUs. CPU0 I D L3 index 0 1 2 x ^ ^ ^ ^ index 0 1 2 3 CPU1 I D L2 L3 This patch checks each cache is shared with all caches on other CPUs.
