netfilter: ebtables: fix table blob use-after-free

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: ebtables: fix table blob use-after-free We are not allowed to return an error at this point. Looking at the code it looks like ret is always 0 at this point, but its not. t = find_table_lock(net, repl->name, &ret, &ebt_mutex); ... this can return a valid table, with ret != 0. This bug causes update of table->private with the new blob, but then frees the blob right away in the caller. Syzbot report: BUG: KASAN: vmalloc-out-of-bounds in __ebt_unregister_table+0xc00/0xcd0 net/bridge/netfilter/ebtables.c:1168 Read of size 4 at addr ffffc90005425000 by task kwork

HID: uclogic: Correct devm device reference for hidinput input_dev name

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: uclogic: Correct devm device reference for hidinput input_dev name Reference the HID device rather than the input device for the devm allocation of the input_dev name. Referencing the input_dev would lead to a use-after-free when the input_dev was unregistered and subsequently fires a uevent that depends on the name. At the point of firing the uevent, the name would be freed by devres management. Use devm_kasprintf to simplify the logic for allocating memory and formatting the input_dev name string.

drm/i915: fix race condition UAF in i915_perf_add_config_ioctl

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/i915: fix race condition UAF in i915_perf_add_config_ioctl Userspace can guess the id value and try to race oa_config object creation with config remove, resulting in a use-after-free if we dereference the object after unlocking the metrics_lock. For that reason, unlocking the metrics_lock must be done after we are done dereferencing the object. btrfs: remove BUG_ON()'s in add_new_free_space()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: remove BUG_ON()'s in add_new_free_space() At add_new_free_space() we have these BUG_ON()'s that are there to deal with any failure to add free space to the in memory free space cache. Such failures are mostly -ENOMEM that should be very rare. However there's no need to have these BUG_ON()'s, we can just return any error to the caller and all callers and their upper call chain are already dealing with errors. So just make add_new_free_space() return any errors, while removing the BUG_ON()'s, and returning the total amount of added free space to an optional u64 pointe

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udmabuf: Set ubuf->sg = NULL if the creation of sg table fails When userspace tries to map the dmabuf and if for some reason (e.g. OOM) the creation of the sg table fails, ubuf->sg needs to be set to NULL. usb: potential integer overflow in usbg_make_tpg()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: potential integer overflow in usbg_make_tpg() The variable tpgt in usbg_make_tpg() is defined as unsigned long and is assigned to tpgt->tport_tpgt, which is defined as u16. This may cause an integer overflow when tpgt is greater than USHRT_MAX (65535). I haven't tried to trigger it myself, but it is possible to trigger it by calling usbg_make_tpg() with a large value for tpgt. I modified the type of tpgt to match tpgt->tport_tpgt and adjusted the relevant code accordingly. This patch is similar to commit 59c816c1f24d ("vhost/scsi: potential memory corruption").

drm/amd: Fix an out of bounds error in BIOS parser

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd: Fix an out of bounds error in BIOS parser The array is hardcoded to 8 in atomfirmware.h, but firmware provides a bigger one sometimes. Deferencing the larger array causes an out of bounds error. commit 4fc1ba4aa589 ("drm/amd/display: fix array index out of bound error in bios parser") fixed some of this, but there are two other cases not covered by it. bpf: drop unnecessary user-triggerable WARN_ONCE in verifierl log

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: drop unnecessary user-triggerable WARN_ONCE in verifierl log It's trivial for user to trigger "verifier log line truncated" warning, as verifier has a fixed-sized buffer of 1024 bytes (as of now), and there are at least two pieces of user-provided information that can be output through this buffer, and both can be arbitrarily sized by user: - BTF names; - BTF.ext source code lines strings. Verifier log buffer should be properly sized for typical verifier state output. But it's sort-of expected that this buffer won't be long enough in some circumstances. So let's d

Syzbot created some code which matched the right sockaddr struct size but used AF_XDP (0x2C) instead of AF_CAN (0x1D) in the address family field: bind$xdp(r2, &(0x7f0000000540)={0x2c, 0x0, r4, 0x0, r2}, 0x10) ^^^^ This has no funtional impact but the userspace should be notified about the wrong address family field content.
