net/rose: prevent integer overflows in rose_setsockopt()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/rose: prevent integer overflows in rose_setsockopt() In case of possible unpredictably large arguments passed to rose_setsockopt() and multiplied by extra values on top of that, integer overflows may occur. Do the safest minimum and fix these issues by checking the contents of 'opt' and returning -EINVAL if they are too large. Also, switch to unsigned int and remove useless check for negative 'opt' in ROSE_IDLE case.

net: usb: rtl8150: enable basic endpoint checking

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: usb: rtl8150: enable basic endpoint checking Syzkaller reports [1] encountering a common issue of utilizing a wrong usb endpoint type during URB submitting stage. This, in turn, triggers a warning shown below. For now, enable simple endpoint checking (specifically, bulk and interrupt eps, testing control one is not essential) to mitigate the issue with a view to do other related cosmetic changes later, if they are necessary. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net_sched: sch_sfq: don't allow 1 packet limit The current implementation does not work correctly with a limit of 1. iproute2 actually checks for this and this patch adds the check in kernel as well. usb: xhci: Fix NULL pointer dereference on certain command aborts

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: xhci: Fix NULL pointer dereference on certain command aborts If a command is queued to the final usable TRB of a ring segment, the enqueue pointer is advanced to the subsequent link TRB and no further. If the command is later aborted, when the abort completion is handled the dequeue pointer is advanced to the first TRB of the next segment. If no further commands are queued, xhci_handle_stopped_cmd_ring() sees the ring pointers unequal and assumes that there is a pending command, so it calls xhci_mod_cmd_timer() which crashes if cur_cmd was NULL. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: uvcvideo: Fix double free in error path If the uvc_status_init() function fails to allocate the int_urb, it will free the dev->status pointer but doesn't reset the pointer to NULL. This results in the kfree() call in uvc_status_cleanup() trying to double-free the memory. Fix it by resetting the dev->status pointer to NULL after freeing it. udp: Deal with race between UDP socket address change and rehash

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udp: Deal with race between UDP socket address change and rehash If a UDP socket changes its local address while it's receiving datagrams, as a result of connect(), there is a period during which a lookup operation might fail to find it, after the address is changed but before the secondary hash (port and address) and the four-tuple hash (local and remote ports and addresses) are updated. Secondary hash chains were introduced by commit 30fff9231fad ("udp: bind() optimisation") and, as a result, a rehash operation became needed to make a bound socket reachable again after a

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ata: libata-core: fix NULL pointer deref in ata_host_alloc_pinfo() In an unlikely (and probably wrong?) case that the 'ppi' parameter of ata_host_alloc_pinfo() points to an array starting with a NULL pointer, there's going to be a kernel oops as the 'pi' local variable won't get reassigned from the initial value of NULL. Initialize 'pi' instead to '&ata_dummy_port_info' to fix the possible kernel oops for good... Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with the SVACE static analysis tool.

nfc: nfcmrvl: Fix memory leak in nfcmrvl_play_deferred

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: nfcmrvl: Fix memory leak in nfcmrvl_play_deferred Similar to the handling of play_deferred in commit 19cfe912c37b ("Bluetooth: btusb: Fix memory leak in play_deferred"), we thought a patch might be needed here as well. Currently usb_submit_urb is called directly to submit deferred tx urbs after unanchor them. So the usb_giveback_urb_bh would failed to unref it in usb_unanchor_urb and cause memory leak. Put those urbs in tx_anchor to avoid the leak, and also fix the error handling.

i40e: Fix call trace in setup_tx_descriptors

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i40e: Fix call trace in setup_tx_descriptors After PF reset and ethtool -t there was call trace in dmesg sometimes leading to panic. When there was some time, around 5 seconds, between reset and test there were no errors. Problem was that pf reset calls i40e_vsi_close in prep_for_reset and ethtool -t calls i40e_vsi_close in diag_test. If there was not enough time between those commands the second i40e_vsi_close starts before previous i40e_vsi_close was done which leads to crash. dm mirror log: round up region bitmap size to BITS_PER_LONG

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm mirror log: round up region bitmap size to BITS_PER_LONG The code in dm-log rounds up bitset_size to 32 bits. It then uses find_next_zero_bit_le on the allocated region. find_next_zero_bit_le accesses the bitmap using unsigned long pointers. So, on 64-bit architectures, it may access 4 bytes beyond the allocated size. Fix this bug by rounding up bitset_size to BITS_PER_LONG. This bug was found by running the lvm2 testsuite with kasan.
