    nfc: pn533: Add poll mod list filling check

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: pn533: Add poll mod list filling check In case of im_protocols value is 1 and tm_protocols value is 0 this combination successfully passes the check 'if (!im_protocols && !tm_protocols)' in the nfc_start_poll(). But then after pn533_poll_create_mod_list() call in pn533_start_poll() poll mod list will remain empty and dev->poll_mod_count will remain 0 which lead to division by zero. Normally no im protocol has value 1 in the mask, so this combination is not expected by driver. But these protocol values actually come from userspace via Netlink interface (NFC_CMD_START_P

    scsi: aacraid: Fix double-free on probe failure

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: aacraid: Fix double-free on probe failure aac_probe_one() calls hardware-specific init functions through the aac_driver_ident::init pointer, all of which eventually call down to aac_init_adapter(). If aac_init_adapter() fails after allocating memory for aac_dev::queues, it frees the memory but does not clear that member. After the hardware-specific init function returns an error, aac_probe_one() goes down an error path that frees the memory pointed to by aac_dev::queues, resulting.in a double-free.

    media: dvb-usb-v2: af9035: Fix null-ptr-deref in af9035_i2c_master_xfer

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: dvb-usb-v2: af9035: Fix null-ptr-deref in af9035_i2c_master_xfer In af9035_i2c_master_xfer, msg is controlled by user. When msg[i].buf is null and msg[i].len is zero, former checks on msg[i].buf would be passed. Malicious data finally reach af9035_i2c_master_xfer. If accessing msg[i].buf[0] without sanity check, null ptr deref would happen. We add check on msg[i].len to prevent crash. Similar commit: commit 0ed554fd769a ("media: dvb-usb: az6027: fix null-ptr-deref in az6027_i2c_xfer()")

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: MT - limit max slots syzbot is reporting too large allocation at input_mt_init_slots(), for num_slots is supplied from userspace using ioctl(UI_DEV_CREATE). Since nobody knows possible max slots, this patch chose 1024.

    ipv6: prevent UAF in ip6_send_skb()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: prevent UAF in ip6_send_skb() syzbot reported an UAF in ip6_send_skb() [1] After ip6_local_out() has returned, we no longer can safely dereference rt, unless we hold rcu_read_lock(). A similar issue has been fixed in commit a688caa34beb ("ipv6: take rcu lock in rawv6_send_hdrinc()") Another potential issue in ip6_finish_output2() is handled in a separate patch. ALSA: line6: Fix racy access to midibuf

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: line6: Fix racy access to midibuf There can be concurrent accesses to line6 midibuf from both the URB completion callback and the rawmidi API access. This could be a cause of KMSAN warning triggered by syzkaller below (so put as reported-by here). This patch protects the midibuf call of the former code path with a spinlock for avoiding the possible races.

    serial: sc16is7xx: fix invalid FIFO access with special register set

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: sc16is7xx: fix invalid FIFO access with special register set When enabling access to the special register set, Receiver time-out and RHR interrupts can happen. In this case, the IRQ handler will try to read from the FIFO thru the RHR register at address 0x00, but address 0x00 is mapped to DLL register, resulting in erroneous FIFO reading. Call graph example: sc16is7xx_startup(): entry sc16is7xx_ms_proc(): entry sc16is7xx_set_termios(): entry sc16is7xx_set_baud(): DLH/DLL = $009C --> access special register set sc16is7xx_port_irq() entry

    x86/mtrr: Check if fixed MTRRs exist before saving them

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/mtrr: Check if fixed MTRRs exist before saving them MTRRs have an obsolete fixed variant for fine grained caching control of the 640K-1MB region that uses separate MSRs. This fixed variant has a separate capability bit in the MTRR capability MSR. So far all x86 CPUs which support MTRR have this separate bit set, so it went unnoticed that mtrr_save_state() does not check the capability bit before accessing the fixed MTRR MSRs. Though on a CPU that does not support the fixed MTRR capability this results in a #GP. The #GP itself is harmless because the RDMSR fault is ha

    fuse: Initialize beyond-EOF page contents before setting uptodate

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fuse: Initialize beyond-EOF page contents before setting uptodate fuse_notify_store(), unlike fuse_do_readpage(), does not enable page zeroing (because it can be used to change partial page contents). So fuse_notify_store() must be more careful to fully initialize page contents (including parts of the page that are beyond end-of-file) before marking the page uptodate. The current code can leave beyond-EOF page contents uninitialized, which makes these uninitialized page contents visible to userspace via mmap(). This is an information leak, but only affects systems which

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fou: remove warn in gue_gro_receive on unsupported protocol Drop the WARN_ON_ONCE inn gue_gro_receive if the encapsulated type is not known or does not have a GRO handler. Such a packet is easily constructed. Syzbot generates them and sets off this warning. Remove the warning as it is expected and not actionable. The warning was previously reduced from WARN_ON to WARN_ON_ONCE in commit 270136613bf7 ("fou: Do WARN_ON_ONCE in gue_gro_receive for bad proto callbacks").

    gpio: prevent potential speculation leaks in gpio_device_get_desc()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: prevent potential speculation leaks in gpio_device_get_desc() Userspace may trigger a speculative read of an address outside the gpio descriptor array. Users can do that by calling gpio_ioctl() with an offset out of range. Offset is copied from user and then used as an array index to get the gpio descriptor without sanitization in gpio_device_get_desc(). This change ensures that the offset is sanitized by using array_index_nospec() to mitigate any possibility of speculative information leaks.
