EDAC/i10nm: fix refcount leak in pci_get_dev_wrapper()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: EDAC/i10nm: fix refcount leak in pci_get_dev_wrapper() As the comment of pci_get_domain_bus_and_slot() says, it returns a PCI device with refcount incremented, so it doesn't need to call an extra pci_dev_get() in pci_get_dev_wrapper(), and the PCI device needs to be put in the error path.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: clk: ti: dra7-atl: Fix reference leak in of_dra7_atl_clk_probe pm_runtime_get_sync() will increment pm usage counter. Forgetting to putting operation will result in reference leak. Add missing pm_runtime_put_sync in some error paths.

mmc: core: Fix kernel panic when remove non-standard SDIO card

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mmc: core: Fix kernel panic when remove non-standard SDIO card SDIO tuple is only allocated for standard SDIO card, especially it causes memory corruption issues when the non-standard SDIO card has removed, which is because the card device's reference counter does not increase for it at sdio_init_func(), but all SDIO card device reference counter gets decreased at sdio_release_func().

PCI: Fix pci_device_is_present() for VFs by checking PF

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: Fix pci_device_is_present() for VFs by checking PF pci_device_is_present() previously didn't work for VFs because it reads the Vendor and Device ID, which are 0xffff for VFs, which looks like they aren't present. Check the PF instead. Wei Gong reported that if virtio I/O is in progress when the driver is unbound or "0" is written to /sys/.../sriov_numvfs, the virtio I/O operation hangs, which may result in output like this: task:bash state:D stack: 0 pid: 1773 ppid: 1241 flags:0x00004002 Call Trace: schedule+0x4f/0xc0 blk_mq_freeze_queue_wait+0x69/0xa0

KVM: VMX: Fix crash due to uninitialized current_vmcs

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: VMX: Fix crash due to uninitialized current_vmcs KVM enables 'Enlightened VMCS' and 'Enlightened MSR Bitmap' when running as a nested hypervisor on top of Hyper-V. When MSR bitmap is updated, evmcs_touch_msr_bitmap function uses current_vmcs per-cpu variable to mark that the msr bitmap was changed. vmx_vcpu_create() modifies the msr bitmap via vmx_disable_intercept_for_msr -> vmx_msr_bitmap_l01_changed which in the end calls this function. The function checks for current_vmcs if it is null but the check is insufficient because current_vmcs is not initialized. Because

scsi: lpfc: Fix ioremap issues in lpfc_sli4_pci_mem_setup()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: lpfc: Fix ioremap issues in lpfc_sli4_pci_mem_setup() When if_type equals zero and pci_resource_start(pdev, PCI_64BIT_BAR4) returns false, drbl_regs_memmap_p is not remapped. This passes a NULL pointer to iounmap(), which can trigger a WARN() on certain arches. When if_type equals six and pci_resource_start(pdev, PCI_64BIT_BAR4) returns true, drbl_regs_memmap_p may has been remapped and ctrl_regs_memmap_p is not remapped. This is a resource leak and passes a NULL pointer to iounmap(). To fix these issues, we need to add null checks before iounmap(), and change some

vc_screen: reload load of struct vc_data pointer in vcs_write() to avoid UAF

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vc_screen: reload load of struct vc_data pointer in vcs_write() to avoid UAF After a call to console_unlock() in vcs_write() the vc_data struct can be freed by vc_port_destruct(). Because of that, the struct vc_data pointer must be reloaded in the while loop in vcs_write() after console_lock() to avoid a UAF when vcs_size() is called. Syzkaller reported a UAF in vcs_size(). s390/vfio-ap: fix memory leak in vfio_ap device driver

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/vfio-ap: fix memory leak in vfio_ap device driver The device release callback function invoked to release the matrix device uses the dev_get_drvdata(device *dev) function to retrieve the pointer to the vfio_matrix_dev object in order to free its storage. The problem is, this object is not stored as drvdata with the device; since the kfree function will accept a NULL pointer, the memory for the vfio_matrix_dev object is never freed. Since the device being released is contained within the vfio_matrix_dev object, the container_of macro will be used to retrieve its pointe
