    drm/amdgpu: zero-initialize GART table on allocation

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: zero-initialize GART table on allocation GART TLB is flushed after unmapping but not after mapping. Since amdgpu_bo_create_kernel() does not zero-initialize the buffer, when a single PTE is written the TLB may speculatively load other uninitialized entries from the same cacheline. Those garbage entries can appear valid, and a subsequent write to another PTE in the same cacheline may cause the GPU to use a stale garbage PTE from the TLB. Fix this by calling memset_io() to zero-initialize the GART table with gart_pte_flags immediately after allocation. Using AMD

    udf: reject descriptors with oversized CRC length

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udf: reject descriptors with oversized CRC length udf_read_tagged() skips CRC verification when descCRCLength + sizeof(struct tag) exceeds the block size. A crafted UDF image can set descCRCLength to an oversized value to bypass CRC validation entirely; the descriptor is then accepted based solely on the 8-bit tag checksum, which is trivially recomputable. Reject such descriptors instead of silently accepting them. A legitimate single-block descriptor should never have a CRC length that exceeds the block.

    f2fs: fix fsck inconsistency caused by incorrect nat_entry flag usage

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: f2fs: fix fsck inconsistency caused by incorrect nat_entry flag usage f2fs_need_dentry_mark() reads nat_entry flags without mutual exclusion with the checkpoint path, which can result in an incorrect inode block marking state. The scenario is as follows: create & write & fsync 'file A' write checkpoint - f2fs_do_sync_file // inline inode - f2fs_write_inode // inode folio is dirty - f2fs_write_checkpoint - f2fs_flush_merged_writes

    KVM: x86: Fix shadow paging use-after-free due to unexpected role

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86: Fix shadow paging use-after-free due to unexpected role Commit 0cb2af2ea66ad ("KVM: x86: Fix shadow paging use-after-free due to unexpected GFN") fixed a shadow paging mismatch between stored and computed GFNs; the bug could be triggered by changing a PDE mapping from outside the guest, and then deleting a memslot. The rmap_remove() call would miss entries created after the PDE change because the GFN of the leaf SPTE does not match the GFN of the struct kvm_mmu_page. A similar hole however remains if the modified PDE points to a non-leaf page. In this case the

    Bluetooth: L2CAP: use chan timer to close channels in cleanup_listen()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: use chan timer to close channels in cleanup_listen() l2cap_chan_close() removes the channel from conn->chan_l, which must be done under conn->lock. cleanup_listen() runs under the parent sk_lock, so acquiring conn->lock would invert the established conn->lock -> chan->lock -> sk_lock order. Instead of calling l2cap_chan_close() directly, schedule l2cap_chan_timeout with delay 0 to close the channel asynchronously. The timeout handler already acquires conn->lock and chan->lock in the correct order. The timer is only armed when chan->conn is still set: i

    net: rds: clear i_sends on setup unwind

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: rds: clear i_sends on setup unwind The RDS IB connection teardown path is written so it can run during partial startup and on repeated shutdown attempts. It uses NULL pointers to distinguish resources that are still owned from resources that have already been released. When rds_ib_setup_qp() fails after allocating i_sends but before allocating i_recvs, the sends_out path frees i_sends without clearing the pointer. A later shutdown pass can still treat that stale pointer as a live send ring allocation. Clear i_sends after vfree() in the error unwind path so the existi

    arm64: errata: Mitigate TLBI errata on various Arm CPUs

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64: errata: Mitigate TLBI errata on various Arm CPUs A number of CPUs developed by Arm suffer from errata whereby a broadcast TLBI;DSB sequence may complete before the global observation of writes which are translated by an affected TLB entry. These errata ONLY affect the completion of memory accesses which have been translated by an invalidated TLB entry, and these errata DO NOT affect the actual invalidation of TLB entries. TLB entries are removed correctly. This issue has been assigned CVE ID CVE-2025-10263. To mitigate this issue, Arm recommends that software foll

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hsr: Remove WARN_ONCE() in hsr_addr_is_self(). syzbot reported the warning [0] in hsr_addr_is_self(), whose assumption is simply wrong. hsr->self_node is cleared in hsr_del_self_node(), which is called from hsr_dellink(). Since dev->rtnl_link_ops->dellink() is called before unregister_netdevice_many(), there is a window when user can find the device but without hsr->self_node. signal: clear JOBCTL_PENDING_MASK for caller in zap_other_threads()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: signal: clear JOBCTL_PENDING_MASK for caller in zap_other_threads() When a multi-threaded process receives a stop signal (e.g., SIGSTOP), do_signal_stop() sets JOBCTL_STOP_PENDING and JOBCTL_STOP_CONSUME on all threads and sets signal->group_stop_count to the number of threads. If one of the threads concurrently calls execve(), de_thread() invokes zap_other_threads() to kill all other threads. zap_other_threads() aborts the pending group stop by resetting signal->group_stop_count to 0 and clears the JOBCTL_PENDING_MASK for all other threads. However, it fails to clear the j

    netfilter: nf_conntrack: destroy stale expectfn expectations on unregister

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack: destroy stale expectfn expectations on unregister NAT helpers such as nf_nat_h323 store a raw pointer to module text in exp->expectfn (e.g. ip_nat_q931_expect). nf_ct_helper_expectfn_unregister() only unlinks the callback descriptor and never walks the expectation table, so an expectation pending at module removal survives with a dangling exp->expectfn into freed module text. When the expected connection arrives, init_conntrack() invokes exp->expectfn(), now a stale pointer into the unloaded module. Reproduced on a KASAN build by loading the H.323

    drm/amd/display: Use krealloc_array() in dal_vector_reserve()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Use krealloc_array() in dal_vector_reserve() [Why & How] dal_vector_reserve() computes the allocation size as "capacity * vector->struct_size" using uint32_t arithmetic, which can silently wrap to a small value on overflow. This would cause krealloc to return a smaller buffer than expected, leading to heap overflows on subsequent vector appends. Replace krealloc() with krealloc_array() which performs an internal overflow check and returns NULL on wrap, preventing the issue. agp/amd64: Fix broken error propagation in agp_amd64_probe()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: agp/amd64: Fix broken error propagation in agp_amd64_probe() A NULL pointer dereference was observed in the AMD64 AGP driver when running in a virtualized environment (e.g. qemu/kvm) without a physical AMD northbridge. The crash occurs in amd64_fetch_size() when attempting to dereference the pointer returned by node_to_amd_nb(0). The root cause of this crash is broken error propagation in agp_amd64_probe(): When no AMD northbridges are found, cache_nbs() correctly returns -ENODEV. However, the probe function erroneously checks the return value against exactly -1, rather th

    nilfs2: reject zero bd_oblocknr in nilfs_ioctl_mark_blocks_dirty()

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nilfs2: reject zero bd_oblocknr in nilfs_ioctl_mark_blocks_dirty() nilfs_ioctl_mark_blocks_dirty() uses bd_oblocknr to detect dead blocks by comparing it with the current block number bd_blocknr. If they differ, the block is considered dead and skipped. However, bd_oblocknr should never be 0 since block 0 typically stores the primary superblock and is never a valid GC target block. A corrupted ioctl request with bd_oblocknr set to 0 causes the comparison to incorrectly match when the lookup returns -ENOENT and sets bd_blocknr to 0, bypassing the dead block check and callin

    scsi: sg: Resolve soft lockup issue when opening /dev/sgX

    In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: sg: Resolve soft lockup issue when opening /dev/sgX The parameter def_reserved_size defines the default buffer size reserved for each Sg_fd and should be restricted to a range between 0 and 1,048,576 (see https://tldp.org/HOWTO/SCSI-Generic-HOWTO/proc.html). Although the function sg_proc_write_dressz enforces this limit, it is possible to bypass it by directly modifying the module parameter as shown below, which then causes a soft lockup: echo -1 > /sys/module/sg/parameters/def_reserved_size exec 4<> /dev/sg0 watchdog: BUG: soft lockup - CPU#5 stuck for 26 seconds!
