In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nft_ct: fix missing expect put in obj eval nft_ct_expect_obj_eval() allocates an expectation and may call nf_ct_expect_related(), but never drops its local reference. Add nf_ct_expect_put(exp) before return to balance allocation.

ALSA: usb-audio: Bound MIDI endpoint descriptor scans

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: usb-audio: Bound MIDI endpoint descriptor scans snd_usbmidi_get_ms_info() validates the internal MIDIStreaming endpoint descriptor size before using baAssocJackID[], but the descriptor walker can still return a class-specific endpoint descriptor whose bLength exceeds the remaining bytes in the endpoint-extra scan. That leaves later flexible-array reads bounded by bLength, but not by the remaining bytes in the endpoint-extra scan. Stop walking when bLength is zero or extends past the remaining endpoint-extra scan.

ceph: fix a buffer leak in __ceph_setxattr()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ceph: fix a buffer leak in __ceph_setxattr() The old_blob in __ceph_setxattr() can store ci->i_xattrs.prealloc_blob value during the retry. However, it is never called the ceph_buffer_put() for the old_blob object. This patch fixes the issue of the buffer leak.

libceph: Fix potential out-of-bounds access in osdmap_decode()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: Fix potential out-of-bounds access in osdmap_decode() When decoding osd_state and osd_weight from an incoming osdmap in osdmap_decode(), both are decoded for each osd, i.e., map->max_osd times. The ceph_decode_need() check only accounts for sizeof(*map->osd_weight) once. This can potentially result in an out-of-bounds memory access if the incoming message is corrupted such that the max_osd value exceeds the actual content of the osdmap message. This patch fixes the issue by changing the corresponding part in the ceph_decode_need() check to account for map->max_osd

When decoding this CRUSH map in crush_decode(), an array of max_buckets CRUSH buckets is decoded, where some indices may not refer to actual buckets and are therefore set to NULL. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: Fix potential out-of-bounds access in __ceph_x_decrypt() In __ceph_x_decrypt(), a part of the buffer p is interpreted as a ceph_x_encrypt_header, and the magic field of this struct is accessed. This happens without any guarantee that the buffer is large enough to hold this struct. The function parameter ciphertext_len represents the length of the ciphertext to decrypt and is guaranteed to be at most the remaining size of the allocated buffer p. However, this value is not necessarily greater than sizeof(ceph_x_encrypt_header). E.g., a message frame of type FRAME_TAG

The I2C_TIMEOUT ioctl accepts a user-provided timeout in multiples of 10 ms. The user argument is checked against INT_MAX, but it is subsequently multiplied by 10 before being passed to msecs_to_jiffies(). In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: skbuff: fix missing zerocopy reference in pskb_carve helpers pskb_carve_inside_header() and pskb_carve_inside_nonlinear() both copy the old skb_shared_info header into a new buffer via memcpy(), which includes the destructor_arg pointer (uarg) for MSG_ZEROCOPY skbs. Neither function calls net_zcopy_get() for the new shinfo, creating an unaccounted holder: every skb_shared_info with destructor_arg set will call skb_zcopy_clear() once when freed, but the corresponding net_zcopy_get() was never called for the new copy. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_log: validate MAC header was set before dumping it The fallback path of dump_mac_header() guards the MAC header access only with "skb->mac_header != skb->network_header", without checking skb_mac_header_was_set(). When the MAC header is unset, mac_header is 0xffff, so the test passes and skb_mac_header(skb) returns skb->head + 0xffff, ~64 KiB past the buffer; the loop then reads dev->hard_header_len bytes out of bounds into the kernel log. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/rds: fix NULL deref in rds_ib_send_cqe_handler() on masked atomic completion rds_ib_xmit_atomic() always programs a masked atomic opcode (IB_WR_MASKED_ATOMIC_CMP_AND_SWP or IB_WR_MASKED_ATOMIC_FETCH_AND_ADD) for every RDS atomic cmsg. But the completion-side switch in rds_ib_send_unmap_op() only handles the non-masked opcodes, so a masked atomic completion falls through to default and returns rm == NULL while send->s_op is left set. rds_ib_send_cqe_handler() then dereferences the NULL rm via rm->m_final_op, oopsing in softirq context. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tap: fix stack info leak in tap_ioctl() SIOCGIFHWADDR In the SIOCGIFHWADDR path, tap_ioctl() copies 16 bytes of an uninitialised on-stack struct sockaddr_storage to userspace via ifr_hwaddr, but netif_get_mac_address() only writes sa_family and dev->addr_len (6 for Ethernet) bytes, leaving sa_data[6..13] uninitialised. Those 8 trailing bytes leak kernel stack contents; SIOCGIFHWADDR on a macvtap chardev returns kernel .text and direct-map pointers, defeating KASLR. Initialise ss at declaration.

crypto: jitterentropy - replace long-held spinlock with mutex

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: jitterentropy - replace long-held spinlock with mutex jent_kcapi_random() serializes the shared jitterentropy state, but it currently holds a spinlock across the jent_read_entropy() call. That path performs expensive jitter collection and SHA3 conditioning, so parallel readers can trigger stalls as contending waiters spin for the same lock. To prevent non-preemptible lock hold, replace rng->jent_lock with a mutex so contended readers sleep instead of spinning on a shared lock held across expensive entropy generation.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: tvlv: reject oversized TVLV packets batadv_tvlv_container_ogm_append() builds a TVLV packet section from the tvlv.container_list. The total size of this section is computed by batadv_tvlv_container_list_size(), which sums the sizes of all registered containers. The return type and accumulator in batadv_tvlv_container_list_size() were u16. If the accumulated size exceeds U16_MAX, the value wraps around, causing the subsequent allocation in batadv_tvlv_container_ogm_append() to be undersized.
