Webauthn: SimpleFakeCredentialGenerator with an empty secret produces predictable fake credentials, weakening username enumeration protection

    ## Impact `Webauthn\SimpleFakeCredentialGenerator` is the library-provided default implementation of the `FakeCredentialGenerator` interface. It returns a stable list of decoy `PublicKeyCredentialDescriptor` objects for a given username so that an assertion request for an unknown user looks the same as a request for a real one, which mitigates username enumeration. The generator derives the whole decoy list from a single seed: ```php $seed = hash('sha256', $username . $this->secret, true); ``` When it is constructed without a secret (its constructor default, `$secret = ''`), the seed depends only on the username. The username is attacker-

Webauthn Framework: allowed_origins collapses URL-like origins to host-only values, bypassing exact origin validation

web-auth/webauthn-lib is an open source set of PHP libraries and a Symfony bundle to allow developers to integrate that authentication mechanism into their web applications. Prior to 5.2.4, when allowed_origins is configured, CheckAllowedOrigins reduces URL-like values to their host component and accepts on host match alone. This makes exact origin policies impossible to express: scheme and port differences are silently ignored. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.2.4.

Enumeration of valid usernames in web-auth/webauthn-lib

web-auth/webauthn-lib is an open source set of PHP libraries and a Symfony bundle to allow developers to integrate that authentication mechanism into their web applications. The ProfileBasedRequestOptionsBuilder method returns allowedCredentials without any credentials if no username was found. When WebAuthn is used as the first or only authentication method, an attacker can enumerate usernames based on the absence of the `allowedCredentials` property in the assertion options response. This allows enumeration of valid or invalid usernames. By knowing which usernames are valid, attackers can focus their efforts on a smaller set of potential ta
