LangGraph Checkpoint: Unsafe JSON deserialization in checkpoint loading

LangGraph SQLite Checkpoint is an implementation of LangGraph CheckpointSaver that uses SQLite DB (both sync and async, via aiosqlite). In versions 4.1.0 and prior, the JsonPlusSerializer can reconstruct Python objects from JSON checkpoint payloads. Under conditions where someone could modify checkpoint bytes at rest in the backing store, the deserialization path could reconstruct objects beyond what the application expects, which could in turn result in code execution at checkpoint load time. This is a defense-in-depth issue. The affected behavior is reachable only when checkpoint bytes at rest in the backing store can be modified by an unau

CPython >3.11 Insecure Input Validation resulting in privilege escalation

To allow builds of Python to be run from an in-tree layout (rather than an installed file layout), the VPATH variable is defined at build time and used to locate certain landmarks - specifically, Modules/setup.local. When this landmark is found relative to VPATH relative to the executable, Python assumes it is running in a source tree and generates a different default sys.path. This code remains in release builds, so that release-ready builds can be built in-tree. On Windows, since builds are written to 'PCbuild/', the value of VPATH is set to '..\..', which results in a landmark of '..\..\Modules\setup.local'. This path is outside the insta

Galaxy_ng: shell injection in legacy role import via unsanitized git ref names

A command injection vulnerability was found in galaxy_ng. The do_git_checkout() function in the legacy role import API (v1) interpolates unsanitized git ref names (branch/tag names) into shell commands executed via subprocess.run() with shell=True. An authenticated user who controls a git repository can create a branch or tag with shell metacharacters in the name to achieve remote code execution on the pulp worker. The vulnerable endpoint is only reachable when GALAXY_ENABLE_LEGACY_ROLES is set to True, which is not the default configuration.

Bleach clean() / Cleaner() fails to sanitize dangerous URI schemes in allowed formaction attributes

    ### Summary Bleach `clean()` / `Cleaner()` fails to sanitize dangerous URI schemes in allowed `formaction` attributes. Bleach applies URI protocol sanitization only to attributes listed in `attr_val_is_uri`. While URI-bearing attributes such as `action`, `href`, `src`, and `poster` are included in that set, `formaction` is not. As a result, if a downstream application explicitly allows `formaction` on submit-capable controls in untrusted HTML, Bleach preserves dangerous values such as `javascript:alert(1)` instead of stripping them. This can lead to **submit-triggered JavaScript execution** in applications that rely on Bleach to sanitize u

Bleach linkify(parse_email=True) CPU exhaustion via unbounded email regex scanning

    ## Summary Bleach 6.3.0 exposes a documented email-linkification path through `bleach.linkify(..., parse_email=True)`. The implementation scans attacker-controlled text with `EMAIL_RE.finditer()` over the full character token and has no length, timeout, or linear prefilter before applying the dot-atom email regex. A non-email payload around 30 KB causes multi-second CPU consumption per request/call, creating a direct availability risk for applications that enable email linkification on user-submitted text. ## Affected Product - Package: `bleach` - Ecosystem: pip - Affected versions: verified in `6.3.0`; exact first affected version not estab

Bleach: URI sanitization allows disallowed URI schemes with Unicode > U+00A0 in output

    ### Impact A possible XSS bypass affects users calling `bleach.clean` with all of: * `a` in the allowed tags * `href` in allowed attributes The `bleach.clean` sanitizer outputs URIs containing disallowed scheme patterns that it should be stripping. However, because the inserted Unicode characters make the scheme invalid per RFC 3986, modern browsers do not execute these as javascript: URIs. The practical security impact is limited to: - Bleach's output contains URI values that violate the caller's protocol allowlist, breaking the sanitizer's contract. - If a downstream system performs its own Unicode normalization on bleach's output (stri

Vulnerable OpenSSL included in cryptography wheels

pyca/cryptography's wheels include a statically linked copy of OpenSSL. The versions of OpenSSL included in wheels prior to cryptograph 48.01 are vulnerable to a security issue. More details about the vulnerability itself can be found in https://openssl-library.org/news/secadv/20260609.txt. If you are building cryptography source ("sdist") then you are responsible for upgrading your copy of OpenSSL. Only users installing from wheels built by the cryptography project (i.e., those distributed on PyPI) need to update their cryptography versions.

    MariaDB: mysql_real_escape_string() incorrectly handled big5

MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. In versions 3.3.18 and 3.4.8, an application that was taking non-validated user input, escaping it with mysql_real_escape_string() and sending it to the database using text protocol and big5 character set was vulnerable to SQL injections, even though mysql_real_escape_string() was supposed to prevent them. This issue has been patched in versions 3.3.19 and 3.4.9.

aiograpi: Unsafe signup challenge path handling

aiograpi is an asynchronous Instagram API for Python. aiograpi versions before 0.9.10 accepted server-supplied signup challenge paths and used them to build request URLs before validating that the paths were relative Instagram API paths. If an attacker can influence a challenge response, for example through a local network, DNS, or proxy compromise, challenge handling requests could be sent outside the intended Instagram host with the client's existing session headers. Version 0.9.10 validates challenge paths before building URLs, solving captcha challenges, or submitting phone/SMS challenge forms.

    Path Traversal in keras-team/keras

Keras versions prior to 3.14.0 are vulnerable to a path traversal issue in the archive extraction utilities located in `keras/src/utils/file_utils.py`. The functions `filter_safe_tarinfos()` and `filter_safe_zipinfos()` validate archive member paths against the process current working directory (CWD) instead of the actual extraction destination. When the process runs with CWD set to `/`, which is common in Docker containers, CI/CD runners, and Jupyter environments, the validation boundary becomes the filesystem root, allowing traversal paths to bypass the security check. Additionally, the zip filter contains a bug that causes an `AttributeErr

Unbounded Frame Count in video/jpeg Base64 Data URL Processing Leads to OOM DoS in vllm-project/vllm

vLLM versions 0.8.0 and later are vulnerable to an Out-of-Memory (OOM) Denial of Service (DoS) attack due to unbounded frame count processing in the `VideoMediaIO.load_base64()` method. When processing `video/jpeg` data URLs, the method splits the base64 data string on commas to extract individual JPEG frames without enforcing a frame count limit. An attacker can exploit this by crafting a single API request containing thousands of comma-separated base64-encoded JPEG frames in a data URL, causing the server to decode all frames into memory and crash due to excessive memory consumption. This vulnerability is reachable via the OpenAI-compatible

    SQLAdmin: Authorization Bypass on `ajax_lookup`

SQLAdmin is a flexible Admin interface for SQLAlchemy models. Prior to version 0.25.1, the ajax_lookup endpoint in application.py bypasses the is_accessible() access control check that all other endpoints enforce. If a developer restricts model access by overriding is_accessible(), an authenticated user can still query that model's data through the ajax_lookup endpoint — silently bypassing the restriction. This issue has been patched in version 0.25.1.

BoxLite: Permission Bypass in boxlite Allows Modification of Read-Only Files

Boxlite is a sandbox service that allows users to create lightweight virtual machines (Boxes) and launch OCI containers within them to run untrusted code. Prior to version 0.9.0, Boxlite does not restrict the kernel capabilities available inside the container, malicious code can remount the directory in rw mode, thereby gaining write access to that directory. This allows malicious code to perform arbitrary write operations on directories that should be read-only. This issue has been patched in version 0.9.0.

BoxLite: Path Traversal Vulnerability in boxlite Leads to Arbitrary File Write on the Host

Boxlite is a sandbox service that allows users to create lightweight virtual machines (Boxes) and launch OCI containers within them to run untrusted code. Prior to version 0.9.0, Boxlite allows users to specify the OCI image used by containers in the sandbox. However, when processing tar entries in OCI images, Boxlite does not account for the possibility that entries may be symlinks pointing to absolute paths. An attacker can craft a malicious OCI image and distribute it on image hosting platforms such as DockerHub, tricking users into using it. Once a user loads the malicious image, the attacker can write arbitrary content to any path on the
